FIELD: bridge building, particularly to protect bridge piers built on rivers with seasonal ice-movement and having changeable water stream level.

SUBSTANCE: pier has support body, pile cluster with high foundation mat and ice-protective shells having shape mating to that of foundation mat panel. Ice-protection shells are located within area defined by extreme water levels and moving ice levels. Low edge of foundation mat panel is located above the highest moving ice level. Each pile is enclosed by separate ice-protective shell. Space between pile and shell is filled with concrete. Shells are connected by cross-bars along foundation mat perimeter and along the shortest diagonal line. Ice-protective shells located in obtuse angles of diamond-shaped foundation mat are brought together so that distance between tangent lines drawn to outer edges of ice-protective shells located in obtuse and acute angles of diamond-shaped foundation mat is not equal to 0.

EFFECT: reduced material consumption, increased operational reliability and service life of bridge pier.

FIELD: bridge building, particularly for reconstruction and repairing piers of road bridges crossing rivers, boggy flood-plain lands and ravines.

SUBSTANCE: ice-breaking structure comprises upper pier part rigidly connected to cross-bar supporting span structure. Upper pier part is installed in ice-breaking part body made of concrete filler enclosed by shell. Ice-breaking part is supported by foundation mat and creates the single monolithic structure with the mat. Ice-breaking part is provided with shell composed of rectangular part and two end triangular parts connected to rectangular part by bolt connections. Shell is made as integral structure along ice-breaking part height. Shell is formed of metal sheets mating to ice-breaking part outline and air-tightly connected one to another by welding. Outer surfaces of metal sheets are covered with anticorrosive coating. Shell is provided with frames and keelsons made of angle members rigidly connected one to another by inner shoulders of angle members to form rectangular grid welded to shell. Outer shoulders of frame and keelson angle members are embedded in concrete filler. Ice-breaking part top is provided with weir screen made of polymer cement mix.

EFFECT: increased service life, improved crack-resistance and strength, reduced labor inputs and material consumption for pier repair and reconstruction.

FIELD: bridge building, particularly for building motorway bridges and pedestrian overpasses, mainly of wood and metal.

SUBSTANCE: span structure has wooden deck having thickness changeable along span length. The greatest thickness is in span center part and the lesser one is at span edges. Deck forms extensions inclined to transversal deck axis and transversal pre-tensioned reinforcement located inside deck, supporting subdiagonals located under deck and arranged coaxial to longitudinal deck edges. Rigid inclined transversal tie system formed at each deck end part consists of upper and lower belts, struts and post. Upper belt of each tie system rests upon corresponding inclined deck extension, lower belt thereof is pivotally connected to subdiagonals by ends thereof. Post extends in tie system plane along line laying in vertical longitudinal axial deck plane and rigidly secured to tie system belts by ends thereof. Struts are connected by their ends to lower belt and to lower post end and rigidly secured to corresponding end parts of upper belt by another ends thereof. Deck thickness in span is 1.6 - 1.9 deck thickness at deck ends.

EFFECT: increased load-bearing capacity of span structure, its flexural rigidity and torsional rigidity in transversal direction.

SUBSTANCE: method involves forming channels in pier and in span structure to be mounted, wherein channel axes face each other; registering channel axes; arranging high-strength reinforcement in channels of span structure and pier so that anchor connections may be installed at least on one reinforcement end and/or demounted from it; connecting another reinforcement end to reinforcement tightening means; tensioning temporary reinforcement and compensating force caused due to span structure cantilevered position on pier; performing span structure securing to pier and connecting longitudinal reinforcement thereof; removing stresses from temporary prestressed bundles; demounting anchor connections and removing temporary stressed reinforcement bundles from channels.

EFFECT: increased building rate, increased connection reliability, reduced labor inputs, possibility to use reinforcement bundles in main bridge structure parts.

FIELD: bridge-building, particularly for drawbridges building.

SUBSTANCE: drawbridge includes drawn navigation span and non-drawn innavigation span, opening and closing mechanisms, permanent piers and bridge railing. Spans include span structures, wherein span structure in navigation span is of double-wing type. Bridge is low and comprises ice-passing structure. Drawn span is provided with grating with upper part located in water level or under water level. Formed in grating are socket-like depressions. Wings of double-wing structure are composed of beam set beams in which have equal heights, preferably of metal beams, wherein wing ends pivotally rest upon permanent piers. Posts of additional movable piers are pivotally connected to another wing ends. Movable piers are adjustably installed in grating depressions so that piers may be fixed in depressions and wings may operate in launched position as beams on two supports. Wings are connected one to another by flexible ties to prevent wind-caused bridge swinging. Ties may be formed, for instance, of ropes with ends arranged in anchoring depressions. In drawn position rope ands are inserted in longitudinal grooves located under bridge roadway.

EFFECT: extended range of low bridges usage, widened navigation underpass, for instance possibility to increase thereof by 6 - 10 m due to console enlargement along with provision of constant beam height.
