Method involves applying the composition on backing used for non-overgrowing covers. Invention provides preparing compositions showing low surface energy and admissible elastomeric properties that diminish overgrowing with organisms and strength of their coupling with the surface.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to making polymeric antifriction coatings, which are applied onto solid surfaces in order to lower coefficient of friction and thereby reduce wear of contact surfaces in friction units. Invention discloses a method of obtaining polymeric antifriction coating on the surface of an object comprising consecutively cleansing this surface with cleansing agent, drying cleansed surface, applying antifriction composition, notably solution of organofluorine surfactant: perfluoropolyoxyalkylene or perfluorinated derivative of poly(alkylene oxide), by immersing the object into this solution followed by heat treatment of coating. Cleansing and drying of the surface are effected in a first vessel, cleansing being performed by immersing the object into vessel with cleansing agent under effect of ultrasound and drying being conducted under effect of infrared rays. Application of antifriction composition and heat treatment are effected in a second vessel, antifriction composition being applied be immersing object into vessel with antifriction composition at 50-60°C affect by ultrasound with frequency 18-22 kHz and heat treatment being conducted with the aid of infrared emitter.
EFFECT: enabled formation of antifriction coating exhibiting needed wear resistance and protecting surface of object against destruction under considerable loading and high temperature conditions.

SUBSTANCE: invention deals with aqueous fluoropolymer dispersions containing no low-molecular weight fluorinated surfactant or containing the same in small amounts. Disclosed is, in particular, a fluoropolymer dispersion containing fluoropolymer particles with average size from 10 to 400 nm while dispersion contains no fluorinated surfactant having molecular mass below 1000 g/mole or contains the same in amount no higher than 0.025% based on the summary mass of dispersion solids. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer compositions based on fluorine-containing polymers for making weather-resistant coatings used for protecting structures made from aluminium, magnesium alloys and steel, polymer composite materials (PCM). The protective coating composition contains the following, pts. wt: fluoropolymer 0.9-0.95, epoxy-diane resin with molecular weight 900-1800 or fluoroepoxy resin 0.05-0.01, hardener - polyisocyanatebiuret 0.07-0.19, γ-aminopropyltriethoxysilane 0.01-0.04 and organic solvent - mixture of xylene and ethyl cellosolve with a solvent selected from a group comprising buthylacetate, ethylglycolacetate, methoxypropylacetate or their mixture 0.5-1.0. To further increase resistance to UV radiation, the composition may contain a light stabiliser in amount of 0.1-0.3 pts. wt, and to increase corrosion resistance in aggressive media, as well as imparting decorative properties to surfaces of objects, pigments are added in amount of 0.5-1.5 pts. wt.
EFFECT: polymer coating hardens fast, has high impact strength, low water absorption, increased resistance to UV radiation, water resistance.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of preparing antifriction coatings on contact surfaces of plunger pairs of fuel injection pumps (FIP) and can be used in diesel engines of motor cars and agricultural equipment. The antifriction coating is prepared from a composition which contains perfluoropolyether acid and a non-ionic surfactant in well defined ratios. The antifriction coating is deposited through a working medium - diesel fuel for 1-3 hours with consumption of the composition equal to 1-7% of the mass of fuel.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain wear-resistant antifriction coating on contact surfaces of plunger pairs of fuel injection pumps without dismantling, increases power and efficiency of diesel engines, reduces fuel consumption.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of applying fluoropolymer coatings for protecting production equipment and pipes, building structures, bridges and architectural materials which are used at average temperature of up to 120°C. The invention describes a method of applying fluoropolymer coatings for protecting surfaces which involves depositing onto a surface a layer of a solution in an organic solvent of fullerene C60 or a mixture of fullerenes C60 and C70 with concentration of the latter between 0.01 and 0.5% per 1-10 mg of fullerenes per square metre of the surface. The surface is then dried naturally for not less than 2 hours, after which it is treated with fluoropolymer lacquer, which is a fluoropolymer solution in ester solvents or cyclic esters (50 g per litre) in amount of 100 ml of the solution per square metre of the surface. The surface is then dried in air under natural conditions for not less than 2 hours, after which it is finally dried with hot air at 90-100°C for 10-15 minutes.
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of the protective surface based on fluoropolymers for long-term and efficient protection of articles, pipes, building structures and equipment and giving surfaces of different materials (natural and artificial stone, metal, wood, plastic) prolonged resistance to effects of aggressive agents of the environment and chemical agents.

SUBSTANCE: polymer antifriction coatings are deposited on solid surfaces made from metal, ceramics and polymer materials in order to reduce coefficient of friction and wearing of contact surfaces in mechanical engineering, aircraft construction, shipbuilding and in petrochemical and gas industry. Preparation of the coating involves treatment of the surface of an article with a cleaning agent, drying, heating the surface to temperature higher that boiling point of epilam, application of a solution of an organofluorine surfactant (fluoro surfactant), perfluropolyoxyalkylene or perfluorinated polyalkylene oxide compound onto the surface of epilam. The fluoro surfactant solution is applied using a gas stream which is directed and curled around a longitudinal axis, where the said gas stream is fed at 30-300 g/s while epilam flows at 5-15 g/s. The gas is selected from a group which includes air, nitrogen and inert gas. The coating then undergoes thermofixation. Epilam is fed into the gas stream using an ejector. The gas stream curled around the longitudinal axis is created using a screw and the directed gas stream is obtained using a supersonic nozzle.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for water-emulsion polymerisation of fluorinated monomers for synthesis of fluorine-containing polymers. Described is a method which involves depositing coatings or saturating a substrate with said aqueous dispersion.
