The invention relates to methods for furostanol glycosides from plant material with antioxidant activity in comparison with structural analogue with similar biological properties, and thereby expands the Arsenal of tools that can be used in medicine as a therapeutic agent. The method is as follows: the extraction was carried out in boiling water, an aqueous extract exhaustively treated butyl alcohol, butanolide extract is concentrated and the residue is washed with acetone and dried. The powder is dissolved in water and subjected to gel filtration on Sephadex G-25, eluent-distilled water.
