(57) Abstract:

Use: manufacture of hot stamping foil and its application in the printing industry, for marking of the details of goods received from various materials: genuine leather, polymethylmethacrylate, polystyrene and copolymers of polystyrene, etc. of the invention. Hot foil stamping includes a polyethylene terephthalate film and the coating on the basis of thermoplastic binder of polyvinyl acetate, segment and filler. The coating additionally contains as a binder of polyvinyl alcohol and surfactant in the following ratio of components, wt.%: the polyvinyl acetate - 20,6 - 36,0, polyvinyl alcohol - 1,3 - 2,4, pigment - 19,2 - 35,7, filler - 37,6 - 42,0, surfactant is 0.3 to 4.7. Method of manufacturing hot stamping foil includes the preparation of an aqueous suspension of coatings based on thermoplastic binder is polyvinyl acetate, application of a suspension of polyethylene terephthalate film and drying the obtained material. In the aqueous suspension of the coating components is injected aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol, surfactant and butanol as antifoam. 3 S. and 2 C.p. f-crystals, 2 Il.

Itbv printing, as well as for branding details of goods received from different materials, such as genuine leather, polymethylmethacrylat, polystyrene and copolymers of polystyrene. Foil can be used for marking cables and insulating pipes with insulation of PVC, Teflon or polyethylene.

Known to date kinds of hot stamping foil were designed for use on specific materials, thus the possibility of their use wore selective. So, for printing on plastics proposed material consisting of a polymer film and a background layer containing a binder and a pigment, where the binder is used polystyrene lacquer.

Known hot stamping foil for use in the printing industry, which is made of polyethylene terephthalate film with a deposited thermometrical-based copolymer, butyl ester of methacrylic acid with Amida methacrylic acid, nitrocellulose, and titanium dioxide.

All of the above kinds of hot stamping foil were obtained using suspensions of the coating components in organic solvents. Use the yli attempted the manufacture of hot stamping foil when using aqueous suspensions of the coating components.

However, these brand hot stamping foil had a limited scope, as it was meant for specific materials printed surfaces, such as Ledeen, calico, paper.

The closest analogue - foil, which is used in the printing industry in the design of book covers with PVC coating for stamping made of polyethylene terephthalate film with drawing on her thermocrete based on the polymeric binder is a copolymer of vinilhlorida with vinyl acetate, the pigment is carbon black and the filler is precipitated chalk is s hot stamping foil, including the preparation of coatings based on thermoplastic binder is polyvinyl acetate, application of a suspension of polyethylene terephthalate film and drying the obtained material.

To date it has not been possible to produce hot stamping foil of different colors on high-speed equipment without the use of organic solvents for the preparation and application of suspensions of the components of the coating on the polymer film.

Typically, the device for applying liquid components for long material include a bath of liquid components, damaging and drying rolls. The disadvantage of such devices is the inability to create the necessary pressure in the zone of application of the liquid material, which significantly reduces the quality of the material.

Currently used Tritone machine "Flavor" for the manufacture of hot stamping foil includes a bath with a suspension of the coating components, bathing raster shaft, which caused deep raster printing, the pressure roller, the doctor blade. Suspension of the coating components in organic solvents satisfactorily applied to polietilentereftalatnoy film when dostatochno able to put on film at the above speeds of film, because you receive a defective coating. At low speeds the film is not more than 20 m/min is possible more or less satisfactorily be coated from aqueous suspension on film, but significantly reduces the performance of the equipment.

The present invention is the production of high quality hot stamping foil for high-speed equipment and high performance equipment, fire safety production and environmental ecology.

The problem is solved due to the fact that the hot stamping foil includes polyethylene terephthalate film with a deposited thermometrical based polymer binder, pigment and filler, where the polymeric binder is used, the polyvinyl acetate in combination with polyvinyl alcohol, as the pigment is titanium dioxide or carbon black in combination with blue phtalocyanines pigment or pigments of different colors, and as filler is precipitated chalk or its combination with Aerosil. The hot stamping foil obtained using dispersions of the source components in the aqueous medium by adding paragraph is interealty film brand PET-M thickness of 12 μm (GOST 24234-80). The polymer film may be applied pre wax layer of peat wax or polyethylene wax with the dropping temperature not lower than 82oC.

As the polymer binder used polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) brands-1H, 18/11, GF (TU 6-11-020-9955-20-99, GOST 10779-76) with a density of 1.20 - 1.40 g/cm3at 20oC. in Addition, as the polymer binder used as the dispersion polyvinyl acetate coarse brand DW, DF 57/15 EAP without plasticizer (GOST 18992-84).

As filler in the manufacture of foil can be used chemically precipitated chalk (GOST 8253-79) or its mixture with Aerosil. The dispersion of the polymeric binder further includes a surfactant, for example, polyoxypropylene (Laprol 503) (TU 6-05-16-79-83) in combination with washing powder "rainbow" (THE 10.14.48-91), or their mixtures in combination with ammonium polyphosphate "Factor (TU 6-08-495-81). The dispersion of the polymer binder includes as antifoam butanol (GOST 5208-81). The number of all listed components used for manufacturing color hot stamping foil, are presented in table 3.

Upon receipt foil of white color as the pigment used is glared brand K-354 (GOST 6220-76). To obtain color hot stamping foil variety of colors such as blue, red, yellow, green and others, use appropriate dyes: blue lacquer in combination with lacquer turquoise or pigment scarlet in combination with pigment yellow, pigment green phtalocyanines in combination with lacquer, turquoise and other Variance components thermocrete prepared under stirring in water with the addition of surfactants and butanol as antifoam. The content of components in the aqueous slurry are shown in table 1.

The invention is illustrated by the following examples.
