The inventive determine the level of electromagnetic radiation of the surface of the controlled section of railway track by video reading by moving the receiver of electromagnetic radiation along a specified area, simultaneously producing lateral displacement of the above-mentioned receiver and locking two-dimensional heat trace after the passage of rolling stock. Carry out the fixation of the heat trace, formed in the result of the passage of other rolling stock, compare the results of measurements, and the measured level of electromagnetic radiation to detect the degree of wear and defects of the track structure by repeating the configuration of thermal field. There is a method of assessing the condition of the track structure, namely, that determine the level of electromagnetic radiation of the surface of the controlled section of railway track by video reading by moving the receiver of electromagnetic radiation along a specified section, and the measured level of electromagnetic radiation to detect the degree of wear and defects of the track structure.

The disadvantages of this method are the inability to simultaneously control a large number of objects and distances from which such control can be exercised.

The technical result, which directed this invention is to eliminate these disadvantages.

Using infra-red scanner shots of wheels, axle boxes ands frames of bogies of passing train are taken. Degree of axle box heating is analyzed and decision is taken whether it is in serviceable condition or not. Degree of heating of frame and wheel is analyzed and decision is taken whether wheel or frame is cracked on not.

EFFECT: improved accuracy and reliability of diagnosing condition of units of wheel bogie.

FIELD: transportation, physics.

SUBSTANCE: method for detection of braked wheel pairs in rolling equipment in motion is based on recording power of IR (infrared) radiation from wheel elements within limits of strobe pulse of wheel pair pass fixation sensor located in one section with IR radiation receiver inclined at an angle of 90 degrees to road axis and comparing the amplitudes of thermal signals from wheel elements of one axle. Thermal signals minimums are determined within strobe pulses, current values of thermal signals amplitudes are measured in section of these minimums. According to results of these amplitudes comparison against preset value alarm system signal is generated to stop train for checking the condition of brake equipment. This provides identification of rims, disks and hubs overheating occurrences during train service braking in consequence of wheel pairs blocking when brake equipment is faulty.

EFFECT: improvement of brakes technical condition control reliability, reduction of causeless train delays due to control facilities indications of heated wheel elements IR radiation during service braking.

SUBSTANCE: device to adjust heat control hardware (HCH) of rolling stock running gear comprises supporting structure with outer casing, IR-radiation source imitating heated axle-box, modulator, modulator rotation drive, control components and connector assembly for the device to be connected to HCH to be adjusted. The proposed device incorporates fan to blow the modulator over by outside air, modulator position pickup, thermal screen and shutter made from different-heat conductivity materials and representing disks provided with different number of holes. The said disks are arranged between modulator and radiator and fitted unfixed on motor shaft. The device comprises also microprocessor controller p.c.b., control components and display to output temperatures and HCH adjustment conditions. The modulator is made up of two disks with holes, i.e. outer metal disk making the aforesaid thermal shield, and bearing disk made from heat-insulation material. Both disks are rigidly fitted on the motor shaft spaced a bit apart. The IR-radiation source incorporates electric heater and radiator temperature pickup.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of adjustment, reduced adjustment time.

Chamber inlet window gate is arranged on the chamber front wall. Aforesaid gate represents rotary sector crank-driven from step motor and is furnished with two radiators, i.e. passive and active, heaters, temperature pickups, position pickup and gate turn limiters. Floor chamber control microprocessor incorporates programmable memory containing temperature difference values for gate active and passive radiators in measuring circuit automatic control mode.

EFFECT: computerised adjustment and control over operating parametres, higher validity of readings at various ambient destabilising effects.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention comprises receiving IR-radiation by receivers oriented perpendicular to track axis towards wheel hub motion and IR-radiation from wheel elements heated by braking forces. It comprises also isolating thermal signal fragments, within gating pulse from wheel pair pass pickup in preset time interval whereat one wheel pair wheel disk and hub are scanned. It also includes generating alarm signal on availability of braked wheel pair if measured thermal signal values of one wheel pair differs by more than two times and there are no indications of brakes actuation, which is judged upon from the results of wheel pair speed in control zone limited by two surface pickups. Deceleration exceeding preset value, alarm signaling of train stop for brakes check is interlocked to generate "braking in check zone" character.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to instrumentation, namely to devices for contact-free temperature measurement of axle boxes of rolling-stock of railways. Inlet assembly of floor-mounted chamber includes the casing attached to the housing of floor-mounted chamber, inside which a gate is installed with possibility of being turned and equipped with calibration elements of measurement channel of floor-mounted chamber. External and protective openings respectively are made in the casing and housing of floor-mounted chamber. Gate is made in the form of a ball from waterproof material with through cylindrical hole. Ball rotation axis is located eccentrically to its centre and perpendicular to axis of cylindrical hole. External opening of casing is round and has an edge from waterproof material and is arranged coaxially to protective opening of the housing. In protective opening of the housing there installed is plate from abrasion-resistant material for example leucosapphire. Gate is equipped with cleaning brushes.

EFFECT: increasing scheduled maintenance period of floor-mounted chambers with simultaneous reduction of background illumination of measurement channel of floor-mounted chamber.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method relates to measurement assurance of contactless device of thermal control and may be used at rolling stock axle box temperature control devices. Proposed method comprises arranging external check passive and active irradiators opposite protective glass. Passive irradiator features temperature T1 equal to ambient temperature while active irradiator features temperature T2 higher than T1. It comprises also registering responses to effects of check irradiators formed as equivalent temperatures T'1 and T'2, and estimating relation n=T'1/T1·T2/T'2, and at n>γ+1, where γ=Δ/T1 is relative error of measurement at T1, while Δ is nameplate mean square measurement error of thermal control device. It includes also performing routine maintenance of protective glass.
