The method of feeding broiler chickens in the hot season

(57) Abstract:

Usage: in poultry, in particular when feeding broiler chickens. The inventive intermittent feeding and watering water in the hot season carry out from the 4th day of life and alternate 2 hours of access to feed and water 2 hours without feed and water. 1 C. p. f-crystals., table 1.

The invention relates to the field of poultry, namely, to feed.

Known technical solution, where broiler chickens were kept at a temperature of 17.5-29,2oC. in order not decreased feed intake and productivity of broilers were fed pelleted feed. However, the use of this method leads to increased deposition of fat in their body (the Effect of temperature and feeding on feed intake of broiler chickens. Howlider. M. A. K. Proc Nutr Soc. 1988, N 2, p. 47).

Also known invention where made intermittent feeding of meat chickens (Intermittent feeding of meat chickens. Suprunov O. Century and other Poultry, 1993, No. 7, S. 20-21, prototype). Feeding was carried out as follows: from 4th to 21st day of life 3 hours free access to feed alternated with 1 hour without food, from 22nd to 42nd day 2 hour access to feed alternated with 1 hour without the technical solution is not enough rational mode of feeding and the lack of regulation of drinking water, leading to high cost of feed and water, and it was not reduced irouleguy in poultry carcasses.

Technical solution to the problem is overcoming the negative impact of the hot period on productivity, quality meat and saving water and feed.

The technical solution is achieved in that in the method of feeding broiler chickens, including intermittent feeding of the last in the hot season carry out from the 4th day of life Chicks. In this alternate 2 hours of access to feed with 2 hours without food and water.

The novelty of the claimed technical solution is that the application of the intermittent mode of feeding broilers during hot period of scheme 2 hours feeding and watering and 2 hours without feed and water, and at an early age prevents the decrease in body weight and reduce fat on the internal organs and under the skin of the bird and saves food, per unit increase of 5.4 to 5.5%

According to the patent and technical literature not found a similar technical solution that allows you to judge the level of invention.

Industrial applicability is due to the fact that the proposed solution can be used effectively on m Broiler chickens in the hot season, when the temperature in the housing exceeds 11-13oC zone thermal comfort, from the 4th day of life was transferred to the intermittent feeding and watering, which consisted in the fact that alternated free access to feed and water 2 hours 2 hours without access to food and water.

An example of a specific implementation of the method in comparison with the known (the experience).

When the temperature 26-35oC in the house contained broiler chickens divided into 4 groups, feeding was carried out according to the following scheme:

group 1 (control), free access to forage;

group 2 free access to granular stern;

group 3 from the 4th day of life 2 hours of access to feed alternated with 2 hours without access to food;

group 4 the same feeding schedule as group 3, but additionally regulated access to water.

During the experiment, to maintain records of changes in body weight, feed consumption, selected samples of liver and blood for analysis. Determined the accumulation of visceral fat in the carcass. The results showed that in 3 or 4 groups saving of feed per unit of gain is 5.4 5.5 percent

The accounting of water consumption under different feeding regimes in the hot season is 4 ml. Water saving in group 4 was 5.4% per head per day, with regard to deposits of visceral fat, the broilers in the control group to 56 days it contained 27,37 g or 1,89% of body weight, and in group 3 16,32 g or 1,10%, respectively, in group 4, 20,68 g and 1.41%

Therefore, the mode of feeding and watering 3 and 4 groups ensured the reduction of internal fat deposits 32.2-67,7% Below is a table showing the growth of Chicks and feed consumption depending on different circuits feeding and watering.

1. The method of feeding broiler chickens in the hot season, including intermittent feeding, characterized in that the hot period of the intermittent feeding injected from the fourth day of life and alternate 2 h of access to feed for 2 hours without access to food.

2. The method according to p. 1, characterized in that access to water is carried out simultaneously with the access to feed.

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, bird watering mechanization equipment.

SUBSTANCE: waterer has casing with outer conical thread and axial through channel of variable diameter, said channel being axially aligned with casing channel. Valve seat axially arranged between casing and bushing is made in the form of washer wherein spherical body is located. Pusher passed through bushing for displacement therein in vertical plane protrudes with its lower part from bushing. Waterer is additionally equipped with elastic sealing ring positioned between casing and bushing. Casing axial channel is provided with thread and bushing is provided with mating thread. Recess is formed in upper part of bushing, with size of recess corresponding to size of valve seat. Upper part of bushing channel and upper part of pusher are made conical.

EFFECT: increased workability and maintainability of waterer.

FIELD: agricultural engineering.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has feed supplying tube, which is held above poultry house floor so as to be raised and lowered. Feed supplying tube is equipped with number of apertures, to each of which corresponds bowl-shaped device hung to said tube. Bowl-shaped device has dispensing tube branched from discharge aperture and feed bowl located under dispensing tube and provided with bowl bell defined by diverging radial grid rods. Dispensing tube consists of inner cylinder branched from discharge aperture and outer cylinder embracing inner cylinder. Bowl is hanging from grid rods of outer cylinder bowl bell so that said bowl is lowered when feed supplying tube is lowered. Outer cylinder is located on inner cylinder for rotation, raising and lowering. Lowering and raising of outer cylinder are restricted by means of at least one stroke restricting device. Apparatus has at least one rotation restricting device adapted for restricting rotation of outer cylinder relative to inner cylinder. Such construction allows feed level in feeders to be adjusted in accordance with chicken height.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in uniform dispensing of feed and simplified washing of feeding bowls with water.
