The inventive contact adhesive contains an emulsion of a copolymer of methyl acrylate, butyl acrylate and methacrylic acid 22 - 50% /dry matter/, rosin, esterified with glycerol or pentaerythritol until an acid number of 100 to 120 mg KOH /g and saponified to pH 8 to 10, 2 to 9%, the stabilizer is polyvinyl alcohol of 0.3 - 10% /dry matter/ and water - the rest. Characteristics of adhesive: bonding of 1 - 4 minutes, the adhesive capacity of 20 kg/see table 2.

For gluing paper packaging is widely used starch adhesives, because of the cheapness compared with synthetic, such as, for example, emulsion PVA adhesives based on polyvinyl alcohol, latex, the best choice of rubber, urea and melamine-formaldehyde resins and other 1. SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a re-emulsifiable powdered resin. Described is a re-emulsifiable powdered resin obtained from an aqueous emulsion of synthetic resin which contains a hydrophobic monomer as a copolymerising monomer, whose solubility in water at 20°C is 0.1% or less, in amount of 30 wt % or more in terms of the total number of all copolymerising monomers, dispersed and stabilised using a resin based on polyvinyl alcohol, modified with acetoacetic groups whose degree of saponification is equal to or greater than 90 mol %, degree of modification with acetoacetic groups lies between 0.01-10 mol %, and average degree of polymerisation lies between 50 and 2000. Described also is an aqueous emulsion obtained through re-emulsion of the said re-emulsifiable powdered resin. Described is an adhesive composition which contains the said re-emulsifiable powdered synthetic resin. The invention also describes an adhesive composition containing said aqueous emulsion.

EFFECT: obtaining re-emusifiable powdered resin for preparing an aqueous emulsion which forms a film with excellent water resistance, resistance to warm water and boiling.

SUBSTANCE: composition contains a polymer which contains hydroxyl groups, a polyfunctional cross-linking gent and, optionally, a catalyst.
