On the contrary, it covers all alternatives and modifications that can be included in the nature and scope of the invention.In Fig. 1 shows several feeding device 10 in combination with an automated feeding system 12 and location 14 for feeding. Dispensing tube consists of inner cylinder branched from discharge aperture and outer cylinder embracing inner cylinder. Bowl is hanging from grid rods of outer cylinder bowl bell so that said bowl is lowered when feed supplying tube is lowered. Outer cylinder is located on inner cylinder for rotation, raising and lowering. Lowering and raising of outer cylinder are restricted by means of at least one stroke restricting device. Apparatus has at least one rotation restricting device adapted for restricting rotation of outer cylinder relative to inner cylinder. Such construction allows feed level in feeders to be adjusted in accordance with chicken height.

Outer and inner cylinders are defined by cylinder parts adhering to and axially aligned with respect to one another. End edges of cylinder parts facing one another are connected to each other through connecting webs overlapping gap region which corresponds to space between cylinder parts. Such construction allows feed level in feeders to be adjusted in accordance with chicken height.

The mobile external tube (109) in addition contains several radial ribs (117) which protrude below its bottom edge and form a support for an external tube (109) above the central chamber (104) bottom when the external tube (109) is in the lower boundary position.
