An example of implementation of the proposed method.

SUBSTANCE: end section of billet is heated and deformed in die block. At that at first metal is accumulated for molding of rod head. Accumulation is done in at least three stages in puncheon cavity. Volume of this cavity is selected provided that its value is reduced from the first stage of deformation to the last one in interval that makes 1.2÷1.1 from volume of finished rod head. Then nipple part of head is molded in puncheon cavity with provision of its profile and geometric dimensions. Remaining part of rod head external surface is molded in matrix cavity.

Forming is performed in multiple stages to produce ogival or conical shape. Every time deformation is started on dummy section not deformed yet. During every subsequent stage, new punch is used to process head part with decreased angle of taper of forming chamber. In forming ogival shape, final forming is carried out. Dummy is withdrawn by resting ejector on dummy rear end face. After every forming, annealing is additionally performed.

Further matrices are pressed by means of forged piece forming effort. This effort is taken off pusher in process of stamping and is applied to upper matrix in direction of puncheon action.

Said material is compacted and fed in opening 5 by first pressure for deform the material and fill female die therewith. Then, said material is compressed by second pressure, higher than said first one. Note here that said material escapes from extrusion opening 7.
