The composition of the decorative cover paper wallpaper

(57) Abstract:

Use: in the manufacture of Wallpaper with water-resistant coating. The inventive paper base coated with a primer layer or uncoated, are part of the decorative coating. Dried at 60 to 120°C. the Composition contains in terms of solids, wt.h. pigment 100, polyvinyl alcohol 20 200, glutaric aldehyde 5 100. As the pigment composition contains chromatic organic pigment, mica or a mixture. Mica use ground or covered with metal oxides (pearlescent pigment). 3 C.p. f-crystals, 2 tab.

The invention relates to compositions of decorative coatings paper for Wallpaper and can be used in the manufacture of Wallpaper. Decorative coating can be applied on pre-coated gruntovalnoy composition of the base paper (paper-backing Wallpaper), and uncoated base paper.

The known composition of the decorative cover paper for wall-paper, containing, by weight.h. kaolin 100, a color pigment is 0.5 to 10, a connecting 8-12, sodium pyrophosphate 0.1 to 0.5, lignosulfonate, sodium or calcium 5-20 [1]

This coating has poor lightfastness.

The closest analogue of the invention is approximately the BR>
This composition as a pigment contains chromatic substance, such as pigment yellow lightfastness brand VS is 0 or pigment blue phtalocyanines In, or rhodamine W, or a basic dye brown 2K, or pigment orange brand VS-0. As the organic additive contains 3,4-dimethylsulfoxid. The compound is used in an aqueous-alcoholic suspension.

This composition, giving izgotavleniem using Wallpapers rather high sensitivity (fastness to light), does not allow for Wallpaper high strength fastening decorative coating when wet abrasion.

The purpose of the invention improve the performance properties of the coating by increasing the strength of the fastening of the decorative cover when wet abrasion while maintaining svetostoyjkostj.

The achievement of this goal and, therefore, ensuring that this specific outcome is the fact that the decorative coating composition containing a pigment, polyvinyl alcohol or organic additive, as an organic additive contains glutaric aldehyde in the following ratio of components, calculated on the dry matter of the coating, wt.h. Romaticheskie organic pigment, ground mica, or ground mica coated with metal oxides (pearlescent pigment). To give the Wallpaper a special decorative effect of the chromatic pigment and mica in the composition of the decorative cover can be combined.

If necessary, the composition of the decorative cover paper for Wallpaper can be introduced with a special additive dispersant, stabilizer, defoamer in the required quantities without changing the quantitative ratio of the required components of the coating.

The introduction of glutaraldehyde, which has in the molecule two carbonyl groups, the composition containing polyvinyl alcohol, leads to effective linking of molecules of the latter due to the interaction of CARBONYLS glutaraldehyde with four hydroxyl groups of two molecules of polyvinyl alcohol, which increases the strength of the fastening of the decorative cover when wet abrasion.

The choice of glutaraldehyde among other alteredstories cross-linking agents such as formaldehyde, due to the fact that its use does not cause environmental pollution.

The use of glyoxal with high reactivity, results the proposed structure of glutaric aldehyde produced according to TU 6-14-45-88 and 6-02-1273-89.

The composition is prepared in an aqueous or aqueous-alcoholic medium to the concentration of the resulting suspension within 10-30% not grounded or grounded paper coated with the composition is dried at a temperature of 60-120aboutC.

P R I m m e R. In a container filled with water temperature 222aboutWith and with stirring, poured polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). The suspension is heated to a temperature of 80-90aboutWith, at which the dissolution of PVA in water. In the prepared solution of PVA is injected under stirring glutaric aldehyde and pigment. The resulting suspension is applied to the paper substrate and dried at a temperature of 105aboutC.

Specific variants of the composition in the amount of the requested patent claims (experiments 1-4) are presented in table. 1.

In parallel for comparison prepare the composition of the decorative cover paper for wall-paper prototype, containing, by weight.h. chromatic organic pigment 11,7, polyvinyl alcohol 2,1, dimethoxymethane 0,12, ethanol 2,3, water the rest.

The composition is applied to the same paper substrate, on which is applied the proposed composition prepared in experiments 1-4.

Made the Wallpaper experience by current standards.

Comparative display is dstanley in table. 2.

From table. 2 shows that the proposed structure can significantly increase the stability of the fastening of the decorative cover when wet abrasion, which improves consumer properties of Wallpaper during storage and operation. Thus the sensitivity of the painting on the wall is not reduced.
