(57) Abstract:

The inventive polymer coating paper for offset printing contains 5 to 15 wt.% stearin and 85 to 95 wt.% copolymer of butadiene with one of the monomers selected from the group consisting of styrene, methyl methacrylate and Acrylonitrile, or a mixture of these copolymers containing units of the butadiene in the copolymer 17,85 - 30 wt.%. The composition of the polymer layer improves the quality of paper by increasing the strength of the surface of the reverse side of the paper. table 1.

The invention relates to paper for offset printing in the manufacture of Wallpaper and can be used in the pulp and paper industry.

Known printing paper comprising base paper and the polymer layer containing a synthetic copolymer of styrene and maleic anhydride and a water-soluble polymer [1]. As the water-soluble polymer is used, hydroxycobalamin polymers, such as starch, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (Na-CMC), polyvinyl alcohol (PVA).

Known paper has a high surface strength in the wet state and a higher resistance.

The closest analogue to the technical nature of the proposed on layer, containing a copolymer of butadiene with one of the monomers selected from the group consisting of styrene, methyl methacrylate and Acrylonitrile, or a mixture of these copolymers containing units of the butadiene in the copolymer 17,85-30.0 wt.% [2].

The ratio of the base paper and the polymer layer is, wt.% : paper-based 85,8-93,75; polymer layer 6,25-14,2.

The paper obtained by the known technical solution is characterized by a high absorption capacity and resistance to dry and wet abrasion.

However, if the operation of such paper with a polymer coating there is a dusting on the reverse side, which is a consequence of the use as base paper low-grade paper.

New technical result of the proposed technical solution is the improvement of the quality of paper by increasing the strength of the surface of the reverse side of the paper.

Achieved technical result of the fact that the paper for offset printing, consisting of a base paper and a polymer layer containing a copolymer of butadiene with one of the monomers selected from the group consisting of styrene, methyl methacrylate and Acrylonitrile or a mixture of these copolyme in the following ratio of components, wt.%: the copolymer 85-95; stearin 5-15.

While stearin is used in the form of a 25% aqueous emulsion; as base paper used Wallpaper paper lower grades.

Proposed to prevent dusting paper for offset printing in the process of its use in the composition for a polymer layer to enter 25% water stearic emulsion in a predetermined numerical range.

Stearin, viotia on the surface of the polymer layer, in contact with the reverse side of the paper partially or fully transferred to the reverse surface of the paper, which causes an increase in the strength of the paper surface and thereby prevent dusting during use.

The invention is illustrated by the following examples.

The results are presented in the table.

As shows the analysis of the table, due to the introduction of the polymer coating of stearin increases the stability of the paper surface to abrasion. This causes, in turn, increased productivity (less time spent on cleaning raster) printing machines when you offer printing paper for offset printing, as well as improved working conditions staff due to less contact with organic solvents used for cleaning raster printing machine.

SUBSTANCE: paper is produced from matrix obtained from composition containing pulp fibers, filler particles and retention system for said filler based on composition comprising complex of granules of ionic non-destructed swelled starch and ionic latex in aqueous carrier. Said composition contains from 60% to 95% by weight of said granules and form 40% to 5% by weight of latex of total 100 wt% on the basis of total content of solid substances of granules and latex. Granules are latex particles carriers in said complex. Processing of carrier involves producing composition of swelled starch-latex prepared in the presence of combined-action admixture or in the absence thereof, and adding said composition to filler suspension for producing of paper having improved retention of filler and allows paper to be produced, which contains filler wherein filler admixture produces minimal negative effect upon strength characteristics. Starch-latex composition may be used with compositions free of wood or with wood-containing compositions. Processed filler is readily retained in paper web in the process of paper making, improves dehydration and creates well-formed sheets. Sheets manufactured with the use of processed filler have higher adhesion strength and tensile strength as compared to sheets containing filler processed with the use of only swelled starch or only latex.

EFFECT: improved quality of paper produced with the use of starch-latex composition.

SUBSTANCE: napkin article with density of over 3 cm3/g includes a napkin made from cellulose fibre and an additive composition on the first side of the napkin which contains a non-fibrous olefin polymer, an ethylene-carboxylic acid copolymer or mixture thereof. The napkin article is made using a method which involves preparation of an aqueous suspension of cellulose fibre, forming a napkin from the aqueous suspension of fibre and drying the napkin. The additive composition is deposited on dry fibres before preparation of the aqueous suspension of fibre, and is added to the aqueous suspension of fibre or for formation of the napkin. The additive composition contains a non-fibrous olefin polymer, an ethylene-carboxylic acid copolymer or mixture thereof and a dispersing agent.

EFFECT: high strength of the napkin without considerable negative effect on softness.

SUBSTANCE: method includes provision of a thick mixture of suspension, which contains wood mass and a filler. The thick suspension mix is dissolved to form a diluted mix of suspension, in which the filler is available in amount of at least 10 wt % in terms of dry mass of dissolved suspension mix. The thick mix and/or dissolved mix of the suspension are flocculated, using a polymer system of retention/dehydration. The dissolved mixture of suspension is dehydrated on a sieve to form a sheet, and then the sheet is dried. The polymer system of retention/dehydration contains the following: i) a water-soluble branched anion-active polymer and ii) a water-soluble cation-active or amphoteric polymer. The method may be realised on paper-making machines of quick dehydration, such as GAP former.

EFFECT: improved retention of ash with reduction of dehydration.

SUBSTANCE: method includes provision of a thick mixture of cellulose suspension, which contains a filler. The thick suspension mass is dissolved to form a diluted mix of suspension, in which the filler is available in amount of at least 10 wt % in terms of dry mass of dissolved suspension mix. The thick mixture of suspension and/or dissolved mix are flocculated. Polymer system of retention/dehydration is used in flocculation. The dissolved mixture of suspension is dehydrated on a mesh to form a sheet, and then the sheet is dried. In this method the polymer system of retention/dehydration contains the following: i) a water-soluble branched anion-active polymer and ii) a water-soluble cation-active or amphoteric polymer. The anion-active polymer is available in the thick mixture or in the dissolved mixture of suspension prior to addition of cation-active or amphoteric polymer.

EFFECT: improved retention of ash relative to complete retention with higher quality of paper.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with a pulp and paper industry. The paper or cardboard laminate contains at least one forming volume layer called as a volumetric layer, consisting by 40-98 % from cellulose fibers with a milling degree equal to 550-950 ml according to the Canadian standard device, and at least one secondary layer located at least on one side of the volumetric layer and having a higher density, as compared with the volumetric layer. The secondary layer and the basic layer are fused to each other in essence by all their opposite surfaces, and the laminate has a factor of rigidity at bending exceeding 2.5 Nm7/kg3, but less than 14 Nm7/kg3, calculated as a geometric average value for a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction. According to the invention, between the volumetric layer and the secondary layer there is a thin intermediate layer, which has the bigger value of resistance to removal of water, than the volumetric layer, and the basic weight at least of 2 g/m2 but less than 20 g/m2 and which is formed together with the volumetric layer. The invention also offers a method of production of paper or cardboard laminate and ensures achievement of a high strength at the low share of a binder, and also prevention of wrinkles.

EFFECT: the invention ensures achievement of a high strength of the laminate at the low content of a binder and prevention of wrinkles.
