The playlist information includes reproduction element information and a display method flag. The reproduction information element defines an information reproduction partition which indicates the entry time and exit time on a video stream reproduction time axis and includes a table of stream information. The display method flag indicates whether control according to the subtitle display method is real or not. The table of stream information assigns the reproducing device one of the subtitle streams to be selected if control according to the subtitle display method is real.
