Platform of auxiliary display converts information into format that device driver understands, which then filters information, in the manner desirable for its specific hardware device prior to information transfer. Feedback returns data on condition and user communication with reflected information. Software suppliers may therefore write a code once, in order to display information into auxiliary displays, while manufacturers of hardware may instruct their devices to work as auxiliary displays with small changes or without changes relative to existing hardware. |

Digital segmented indicator with symbol scaling In accordance to method, for visual counting of decimal digital information a four-positional indicator is used, making it possible to both reduce dimensions of decimal symbol with preserved display resolution, equal to display resolution of seven-position symbols, and to realize scaling which preserves ratio of symbol width to its height at constant level equal to 1:1. When displaying fractional decimal numbers the decimal point is shown on symbol itself, increasing coefficient of useful utilization of informational field of indicator. Dimensions of decimal point during scaling of symbols may be proportionally depending on dimensions of the symbol being displayed. Fixed position of digit symbols during scaling allows to encode them in their own color. Planar position of the indicator may be either horizontal or vertical. |

Method and system for viewing information on display In response to changes of tilt angle of device part of page containing information is changed. The named page lies on a virtual surface in co-ordinates system and every page point has a certain location in co-ordinates system. Initially display surface is oriented against virtual surface so that line of support perpendicular to monument point on display surface and starting from some monument point touches the page containing information in defined point. Part of page around defined point is displayed and in response to handheld device tilt mirror line is created by mirror reflection of support line against line perpendicular to display surface and passing through monumental point. Mirror line virtual surface contact point is defined and a part around contact point is displayed. Also handheld device for viewing information is declared. |
