Device for container trunnion grinding

Device comprises a bracket attached to a container and including a plate with an inner boring made along a trunnion diameter, and set on the non-machined section of the trunnion. A support with a hole whose axis coincides with the trunnion axis is attached to the plate. An axle is installed in the support hole, a casing able of swinging is mounted on the axle and connected to a cross bar to which U-shaped swinging levers connected by rams in the lower part are coupled. The rams are movably fitted with a screw cross-feed mechanism with a pneumatic grinding machine being attached to its quill. The screw cross-feed mechanism is coupled with a quill of a screw longitudinal feed mechanism of the grinding machine placed inside a handle attached to the swinging lever. A grinding disk or a rolling disk is installed on the grinding machine shaft.

Invention relates to an abrasive instrument, containing melted grains. Abrasive grains have a chemical composition in wt % based on oxides: Al2O3 remaining part to 100%, ZrO2+HfO2 16-24%, MgO in such amount that a weight ratio (ZrO2+HfO2)/MgO constitutes from 25 to 65, oxides different from Al2O3, ZrO2, HfO2 and MgO 0-2%.

Abrasive tool

Abrasive tool is made as a casing bearing abrasive elements and consisting of an outer ring and an inner ring, which are set concentrically, coupled to each other and made from a conducting material. The rings are coupled by radially set elements in the form of pins with their number and section being chosen according to the specified current density parameter under the condition that the tool is equally strong in a radial and tangential direction. The space between the outer and inner rings is filled by a high-strength composite material with low density with its thickness being less than the rings width.

Mandrel in the form of a hollow arbour is used, it is fitted with deforming elements in the form of balls set in the holes evenly provided at the end face of the hollow arbour. The mandrel is imparted with a periodical pulse load by means of a pulse load hydraulic cylinder in which a striker and a waveguide are installed. A workpiece is fixed at a bearing flange set so that to be able of rotating in respect to the longitudinal arbour axis. Radius R makes 0.5-2 if thickness t. Abrasive material with coating comprises bottom adhesive layer on the substrate first smooth surface, shaped abrasive particles making the abrasive layer and top adhesive layer. Most shaped abrasive particles are secured to bottom adhesive layer by inclined sidewall and feature orientation angle β equal to 50-85 degrees. Abrasive layer consists of shaped abrasive particles by at least 5% by weight.

Invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used in making abrasive tools and pastes for polishing articles made of solid materials and paint coats. The abrasive mixture contains as a cutting component abrasive particles which are mixed with a binding material and consist of carbon nanoparticles in form of graphenes with monoatomic thickness with sizes ranging from 0.1 mm to 2 mm and graphene pumice, which is graphene clusters in form of stacks of plane-parallel graphenes joined to each other at one of their ends. When preparing the abrasive mixture, the cutting component is mixed with binding material in a vacuum chamber at low pressure. Pressure is then raised to atmospheric pressure before the binding material begins to harden.

Invention relates to machine building and can be used in grinders equipped with grinding body clamp. Grinder comprises rectangular plate and two clamps at its opposite sides. Every said clamp has clamping part displacing at said plate between clamping and unclamping positions to contact with or to move away from the plate side surface. Bearing pin is arranged at said plate, nearby clamping part, as well as a working element with first and second ends engaged with bearing pin to run therewith. Said first end is connected with clamping part while second end extends under clamping part. Said working element can be elastically deformed in directions of stretching and compression between connection end and working end. Hooking element if arranged at said plate opposite said bearing pin to engage with working element working end.

Invention relates to machine building and may be used in bearing production for grinding taper roller spherical end faces. Proposed method comprises fitting of conical roller by its conical surface in the sleeve for both to be revolved about their common axis in lengthwise mirror plane of grinding wheel. Spherical end is ground at 3-position tool with round turntable with three spindles equipped with collet and adjustable stops-pushers and with fixed cam. At first position, sleeve with conical roller is spring loaded at its end relative to stop-pusher and located at the spindle collet and displaced in axial direction to contact of the end of conical roller opposite the processed spherical end with stop-pusher and secured. At second position, rough and finish grinding of conical roller spherical end are performed with axial feed of grinding wheel. At third position, conical roller is pushed from the sleeve by said stop-pusher and fixed cam.

Plunger pair and metering pump comprises at least one external part of crystal based on aluminium oxide alpha-modification and at least one internal part of crystal based on aluminium oxide alpha-modification, preferably, leucosapphire with working surface roughness Ra2÷5Å. Said surface smoothness is brought about by processing the cylindrical surfaces of part of crystal based on aluminium oxide alpha-modification. This method comprises drilling the preliminary blanks of part of crystal based on aluminium oxide alpha-modification with the help of diamond tool. Three-stage mechanical processing is performed by diamond tool with lubricant-coolants and sequential decreased in abrasive grain size to 125/100 and/or 100/80 mcm. Internal strain is removed from blanks by annealing at muffle furnace. Surface is processed by semisoft or soft grinding wheel or by lap with diamond 5/3 mcm or 1/0 mcm grain on clock oil. Tribochemical finishing of the surface is performed by colloidal SiO2-based composition.

Invention refers to machine building industry, namely, to surface hardening of gear wheels made from ferromagnetic materials. One gear wheel is mounted on a shaft, the other - on an axis. Interlocking arrangement of the gear wheels is provided. Gear wheels are installed in the inner cavity of a split casing which is filled by cast iron shot with the diameter of 0.1-0.4 mm. The split casing is placed in the through groove of a magnetic conductor. Angular motion of the gear wheel set on the shaft is provided by an external drive along with turning of the other gear wheel in relation to its own axis during 0.1-0.2 hours. The magnetic conductor forms a magnetic circuit and generates a variable magnetic field with its strength in the teeth contact zone of the hardened gear wheels being equal to 1×105-1×106 A/m and the frequency of its oscillations being equal to 20-70 Hz.

Rough grinding is performed at the first stage, and finish grinding is performed at the second stage. Processing modes for the above grinding and honed finishing operations are described.
