Method of treating climacteric syndrome in premenopausal females

Method of treating climacteric syndrome in premenopausal females

Lateral behavioural asymmetry profile (LBAP) test is conducted. If a patient appears to have a right lateral asymmetry profile, a set of physical exercises recommended include aerobic and anaerobic cyclic loads of lengths related as 1:2. System and method of controlling exoskeleton configured to capture object of interest

Group of inventions relates to a servo system for controlling an exoskeleton. A servo motor is connected to a power supply and controls the position of the exoskeleton and, consequently, the force applied by the exoskeleton to an object of interest. A processor unit determines the actuating current signal Iact based on servo motor settings, where Iact indicates the contribution in Iinitial from the servo motor when processing the position of the exoskeleton. The processor unit also determines the current signal Iforce of the traction force, which indicates the force applied by the exoskeleton to the object of interest, where Iforce is proportional to the difference between Ifiltered and Iact.

The integrated exposure to the pre-formed physical factors involves a diadynamic therapy. At the beginning, the presence of an imbalance of thoracic muscle tonus from the right and left is detected, and the relaxed region is exposed to the diadynamic therapy applying toning manipulations by means of Tonus-1 apparatus starting with a full-wave continuous pulse current at frequency 100 Hz for 3 min and changing an electrode pole from (-) to (+) for the following 3 min; that is followed by the half-wave rhythmic exposure for 1 s, with a pause of 1 s, continued for another 3 min, and changing the electrode pole from (-) for (+) for the following 3 min. The procedure is terminated by exposing the back muscles to postisometric relaxation preceded by isometric stress of the above muscles. Herewith, initially the patient sits with his/her back turned to the doctor, clenches his/her fists and fixes them on his/her sacral bone. The doctor initially stands behind the patient's back at arms' length, stretches his/her arms and fixes his/her hands on the patient's elbow joints; the doctor holds his/her back straight and sets one foot back to keep balance. The patient inhales and presses his/her sacral bone for 5 s with his/her elbows pulled back and shoulder rotated outside; this position is held for 7-9 s. While the patient exhales, the doctor stretches the patient's back muscles inactively, pulls the patient's elbows forth, rotates the patient's shoulder inside; the patient's fists are still held on his/her sacral bone. The manipulation is performed 5 or 6 times for 1 or 2 minutes as a part of the integrated procedures for 12-15 min in the therapeutic course, daily.

Method for eliminating cosmetic skin defects

Invention refers to medicine and can be used for the skin regeneration following deformities caused by various factors (burn, tattoo removal), cicatrical skin changes, including postoperative striae atrophy of skin. The method involves the integrated action: full-body hydrodynamic massage (FBHDM) and hydrodynamic massage (HDM) of the skin deformity by means of an attachment configured to supply water similarly to a water funnel; a whole bowel irrigation; a psychotherapy. The FBHDM procedures are performed for 3 days running with one-day pause; the massage aims at the massage treatment of the whole body surface, including the head. The HDM of the skin deformity first involves the whole deformity region and the attachment is used to perform circular and differently directed motions. Then, the deformity is exposed point by point with the attachment kept in each point for 20-30 sec; the whole area is treated in such a manner. The whole bowel irrigation is performed on the days free from the FBHDM procedures. The psychotherapy involves a music therapy accompanying the FBHDM, HDM of the skin deformity, and the whole bowel irrigation. Performing the FBHDM procedures is accompanied by the relaxing music therapy, whereas the whole bowel irrigation and the HDM of the skin deformity are restorative. The integrated therapeutic course makes at least 14 days starting with the HDM procedures.

The lactation support represents an integrated set of measures and involves the psychological support by the medical staff and family and the lactation dominance assistance. The regular feeding expression of breast milk by means of a breast pump every 3 hours, including at night time, for 15 minutes from each breast, and every time the woman feels her breast filling, or from both breasts simultaneously with two breast pumps; or the expression of breast milk from one breast combined with nursing the baby from the other breast. Using the physical methods for lactation stimulation in the form of warm applications on the breasts 15 minutes before the expression. Taking actions to stimulate breastfeeding in the baby: skin-to-skin contact according to kangaroo care, which is implemented several times a day depending on the baby's state; giving the baby's jaw muscles massage and giving the baby a pacifier to maintain the sucking reflex. Once the baby's state is stabilised, the demand feeding is practiced. Pharmacologic lactation stimulation with domperidone 10 mg 3 times a day 15 minutes before meals for 2 weeks. Method of cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Method of cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Invention relates to medicine, namely to resuscitation, and can be applied in case of necessity of carrying out resuscitation actions in case if the patient is in condition of apparent death. For this purpose the injured person is placed in a sitting position. A resuscitator takes position behind and sideways from the injured person, one resuscitators leg rests against the support plane on which the injured person is sitting with its knee. The other leg is half-bent in the knee joint and brought behind the injured person's back, which simultaneously serves as a rest for the injured person and a support for the application of resuscitation. The resuscitator's hand catches the neck, fixing the chin on the elbow bent and throwing back the injured person's head. The other hand fixes the nape, resting with the elbow against the leg, half-bent and brought behind the injured person's back. Resuscitation is realised by bringing the half-bent leg forward, which will lead to straightening of the spine and lowering of the diaphragm - "inhalation". Stopping the influence - return of the resuscitator's leg into the initial position - "exhalation".

Method of thermal processing hands and/or feet

Invention relates to the technology of hygienic drying of hands and/or feet after washing and to the technology of the biological activation of a blood flow in veins of hands and feet. The claimed method is characterised by the fact that by means of an infrared mirror lamp of IKZK-250 with red glass of the bulb created is a flow of electromagnetic radiation, the spectrum of which is changed from red and near-infrared to far-infrared with transition through middle infrared and in a reverse order by the reduction/increase of the lamp supply voltage relative to the nominal one. A lamp reflector is made narrowing towards the side opposite to the bulb, therefore compacting the radiation flow. Hands and feet are placed below the reflector. A lamp case is fixed either in an immobile way with respect to hands and/or feet or with a possibility of linear and angular travel with respect to them.

Method of functional training for development of person's physical qualities

Functional training consists in performing circular training, during which exercises on stations are done. Cardio warming up and exercises for muscle pre-stretching before the main part of training and cool-down- after training, are performed. As the main part of training performed are: 2-4 circles of aerobic exercises, where each circle includes the following stations: exercise of the general influence - involving in operation more than 2/3 of the muscle groups of the entire body, after which two exercises of a selective impact - involving in operation separate regional groups of muscles. Between the exercises there is time for rest, with the station of cardio-insertion being carried out at the end of each circle. The level of complexity is regulated depending on the level of preparation of the training person by changing the frequency of repetitions, duration, type of exercises in the stations, duration of rest. The ratio of the time for rest and for the fulfilment of exercises is specified depending on the level of preparation: 2:1 - for the starting level of preparation, 1:1 - for the middle level, and 1:2 - for the advanced level.
