SUBSTANCE: vacuum breaker (1) comprises a sealed chamber (4) with a cylindrical body (5), two electrical contacts (7, 7') and a dielectric coating (12) which covers the outer surface of the chamber (4). This coating (12) comprises at least two layers, namely a top layer (14) made of a synthetic material and an intermediate layer (13), which represents a continuous layer made of an organosilicon compound. The top layer (14) is located on the intermediate layer (13). The intermediate layer (13) is made discontinuous and localized on the metal sections of the chamber (4) for covering, at least partially, the outer surface of the metal sections. The organosilicon compound of the intermediate layer (13) comprises hollow bodies that are compressible, and also have a sheath made of a thermoplastic material.

SUBSTANCE: application: in electrical engineering. According to the method during routine switching at power facilities positions of switching devices are indentified, the above positions are transmitted through a radio channel, the Boolean expression is formed for each switching device and power supply is fed to a block lock of the switching device drive at a true value of the Boolean expression. At that data about the position of the functionally related switching devices are accumulated at locations of their drives at local points, data transfer from the local point is made only with a request of the control room, permit for power supply delivery to the block lock is transmitted from the control room through the radio channel, whereat power supply of the block locks is made from in-built self-contained sources.
EFFECT: increasing the operational reliability of the magnetic lock and reducing costs for installation, start-up and commissioning.
SUBSTANCE: switch comprises selector to select winding tap to be reswitched and load switch with at least one tap of current circuit and at least two auxiliary current taps; in each of them in load switch operating both with vacuum circuit breakers and switching cells, besides selector contacts, there are auxiliary switches connected in series with them and the respective winding tap, and in stationary mode the above auxiliary switches perform complete galvanic interruption of vacuum circuit breakers.
EFFECT: providing required dielectric strength to the load switch without increase in dimensions of vacuum circuit breakers.

SUBSTANCE: tap changer with semiconductor switching elements is intended for uninterrupted changing between winding taps of a step transformer; it is made as a hybrid switch comprising fixed mechanical contact fingers and opposed contacts installed at a movable contact bracket. Semiconductor switchover units are intended for load transfer, they are switched by means of contacts at the contact bracket when load is transferred in a specified switching sequence.
EFFECT: development of the tap changer featured by the simple design and high operational reliability, which can be used for switching of different step transformers without forced special-purpose matching to the transformer.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of detecting of malfunction of the vacuum breaker in a live tap changer in which the tap changer contains a housing filled with oil, a diverter switch comprising a mobile contact (MC, RC) and, at least, one vacuum breaker (MVI, RVI) designed with a possibility of interruption of the current passing through the mobile contact of the diverter switch. The method includes the repeating stages during which the content of hydrogen in oil is determined and the existence of malfunction of the vacuum breaker (MVI, RVI) is identified on the basis of measurement of the content of hydrogen in oil.
EFFECT: decrease of risk of false identification of malfunction with an immediate emergency shutdown of the transformer.

A drive mechanism for a medium voltage fuse switch comprises a base plate (10) and a front plate (11) which form an inner space enveloping a working shaft and a driving shaft set coaxially along the first longitudinal axis, the driving shaft is functionally coupled with a kinematic circuit of the medium voltage fuse switch, the working shaft (20) is fitted by a head connected to an operating handle for manual actuation of the working shaft, a spring unit consisting of two spiral springs having the first end functionally coupled with the working shaft, a clamping unit consisting of two clamping tabs set on the driving shaft, the first (61) and the second (62) unclamping units to unclamp the driving shaft and provide for its rotation. The first unclamping unit (61) provides for the rotation of the driving shaft in the direction opposite to the second unclamping unit (62).
EFFECT: reduced manufacturing, mounting and operational costs.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to an on-load tap charger with semiconductor switching elements for uninterrupted switching between fixed contacts of the tap charger which are connected electrically to the tapped winding of the tapped transformer. Each of the fixed contacts of the tap charger can be connected to the device for charging either directly or through interconnected semiconductor switching elements. According to the invention the tap charger has separated and fixed tapping contacts for electric insulation of the semiconductor switching elements from the transformer winding during the static mode of operation.
EFFECT: excluding high load of switching elements and guaranteeing electrical separation of the tap charger from the transformer winding in the static mode of operation.

SUBSTANCE: tap changer for a transformer comprises a cylinder and a shaft which is rotatably arranged inside the cylinder. The cylinder is provided with fixed contacts and the shaft is provided with a contact circuit facing the cylinder and including mechanical contacts, wherein the mechanical contacts are adapted to selectively mate with the fixed contacts of the cylinder upon rotation of the shaft. The contact circuit also includes at least two measuring points for measuring the characteristics of the contact circuit. The tap changer comprises at least one measuring contact device, which is electrically connected to the respective measuring points in the contact circuit. The measuring contact device is placed inside the shaft.
EFFECT: wider field of use of the tap changer and the measurement method by facilitating access to measuring points of the tap changer.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a manual drive for stepwise control of a step transformer winding tap changer with a locking device, without power consumption. Besides, there is a master shaft, on which per one change there are several manual rotations implemented. There is also a control mechanism, which converts these rotations exactly into one rotation of a geared wheel per one change. The locking mechanism comprises a rotary inner key and a latch rotating around the axis of rotation and a stop, which corresponds to the stop slot of the master shaft, and a stop cam, which corresponds to the slot of the geared wheel of the control mechanism. Due to actuation of the inner key, the latch rotates from the locked position so that the stop and the stop cam are disengaged from the appropriate slots.
EFFECT: higher reliability of protection in respect to undeliberate or deliberate incorrect usage of a manual drive.

A modified diverter switch comprises mechanical and electric interface, compatible with a switch body, main and intermediate contacts, a holder of current-limiting resistance comprising an interface coupled with the body of the available tap changer for provision of modification of the diverter switch, besides, multiple modules of current-limiting resistances may be connected together. The diverter switch may comprise a vacuum switch and may be installed in a body of the available tap changer.

The invention suggests commutation switch (600) having at least one single-pole tripping unit (10) comprised of movable bridge contact (22), a pair of fixed contacts (41, 51) functioning in combination with movable bridge contact and connected respectively to input current conductor (4, 5), and two arc-extinguishing chambers (24) opening in response to opened volume of the bridge contact (22) and containing a set of at least two deionising ribs (25) separated from each other by gas exchange space. Each arc-extinguishing chamber (24) is connected to at least one outlet channel (38, 42) for cooling gas, at that outlet channels are open to the panel from the side of body line (12) of the tripping unit (10), and the above panel from the side of body line is opposed to another panel from the load side and made so that it can be contacted by the tripping device (7).

The single-pole disconnecting device is suggested with the following composition: contacting bridge (22) with at least one fixed contact (41, 51) operated together with the contact bridge as well as a tuner bar (26) having a cross bore (21) wherein the contacting bridge is mounted and protruded from each side of the turner bar (26), at that the bar (26) is inserted between two side plates (14) of the disconnecting device. At least one arc blow-out chamber (24) is communicated to open space of the contacting bridge (22). SUBSTANCE: switching device body comprises two sides with screw clamps for external load, with current splitters, a mechanism of free splitting and a contact device. A body has a path of an electric arc with two buses of electric arc displacement. Between end sections of buses there is an arc-quenching chamber from a group of arc-quenching plates, to which a chamber adjoins to blow an arc with a hole for arc blowing. Between an arc-quenching chamber and an arc-blowing chamber there are solid guide ribs, and inside the arc-blowing chamber there are solid walls shaped to body sides. A hole for arc blowing is arranged on the plane formed by a plane arranged at the angle α<90° to the setting plane of the body. Guide ribs shaped to one and the other side of the body are arranged as a whole, at least with some of solid walls shaped to the body side. At least some of the walls shaped to one and the other side of the body have sections, which are arranged in parallel to the setting plane of the body, and sections are arranged perpendicularly to the setting plane of the body.
EFFECT: higher reliability of a switching device due to elimination of arc blowing hole closing with dirt and dust particles, as a result of higher intensity of ionised gases cooling without increased dimensions of a body.
SUBSTANCE: electric commutation device is intended for attachment to a fixation support and contains at least one electric commutation module (2, 3) and at least one module (1) having an additional electric function, in particular - that of differential protection. At least one of the additional modules (1) is located close to at least one commutation module (2, 3). One or every commutation module (2, 3) contains an arc-extinguishing chamber (7, 8). The arc-extinguishing chamber (7, 8) of the module (2, 3) located opposite the additional module (1) has a surface (11, 12) curved relative to the arc-extinguishing chamber inner part to create a space (E, F) inside the chamber that ensures the possibility of accommodating part of the additional module volume therein (1). The ends (13, 14, 15 and 16) of the arc-extinguishing chamber (7, 8) encompass the additional module (1) volume.

Perimetric cutout 7 is arranged at the beginning of channel 6 on interface of two-component box to receive at least one temporary filler 8 with holes. Said perimetric cutout 7 is made in cover 5 and has damping sides and lateral guide surfaces and at least one thrust ledge 13 for filler 8.

SUBSTANCE: chamber comprises two isolated LH and RH sets of metal plates separated by air gap. It comprises also first group of RH and LH sets of insulating plates separated by air gap. Note here that metal plates seat in symmetry with the axis passing between LH and RH sets of aforesaid plates, the upper LH and RH plates being interconnected by current conducting bus. In compliance with this invention, second group of LH and RH sets of plates are additionally introduced. Arc-control casing has first member incorporating base formed by first horizontal side of switching apparatus to organize chamber that has space for first laminated arc-control unit and second member connected to first one; second member has base formed by second horizontal side of switching apparatus opposing first one to form chamber that has space for accommodating second laminated arc-control unit.
EFFECT: enhanced mechanical strength and tightness of switching apparatus at superhigh gas pressures, facilitated assembly and reduced time required for this procedure.

SUBSTANCE: high-voltage arc-extinguishing chamber camera contains coupled insulating walls forming among themselves an input slot in the arch pre-stretching zone, arc-extinguishing devices in the arc-extinguishing zone, the top and bottom horns, two magnetic poles, the punched insulating plate inserted into a groove at the chamber output. The coupled insulating walls are pressed each as a single piece of separately located different arc-extinguishing materials, and the arc-extinguishing devices are designed as a lattice with the plates which have wedge-shaped cuts, begin from two different levels and at coming into this lattice the arch is split into short sections in two steps and dies away in the chamber, having no time to heat its coupled walls.
EFFECT: improvement of the disconnecting ability of contactors and decrease of switching over-voltages.
