SUBSTANCE: method of producing a treated filler comprises treating the suspension containing a raw filler that is not pre-dried using a treating composition containing a treating agent. The treating agent comprises at least one compound selected from an unsaturated fatty acid containing a linear or branched optionally substituted C4-C38alkyl having at least one carbon-carbon double bond; a derivative of the said unsaturated fatty acid, wherein at least one carbon-carbon double bond is reacted to include at least one functional group; and/or salts of the said unsaturated fatty acid. The untreated filler is selected from aluminium silicate, silica gel, colloidal silicon dioxide, precipitated silica, and mixtures thereof. The suspension of the treated filler is dried to obtain a treated filler.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve the compatibility of materials with a high specific surface area with the polymer matrix into which they are incorporated, to reduce the process viscosity and to prevent the phase separation of these materials and the polymer matrix.

SUBSTANCE: in order to obtain layered nanoparticles, layered material selected from clay and boehmite is mixed with a separating agent selected from diols. The separated layered material reacts with a cross-linking agent in the presence of water and acid. A solution of alkylketon fluorotelomers, obtained by the reaction of tetrafluoroethylene with acetone, is used as the polymer-containing composition. The powder of the basic material is placed in a fluorotelomer solution and the application of covering on its surface is carried out during a 10-600 minute interval under a pressure of not lower than 10 MPa and a temperature of 45-150C. The following drying is realised at a temperature of not lower than 50C. As the basic material , for instance, potassium titanate.is applied.

A method of obtaining self-binding pigment particles includes, at least, one stage of crushing one or several binding agents and one or several mineral substances in a water medium to obtain a suspension. A method for the preparation of calcium carbonate from lime involves providing an aqueous solution having pH of at least 11.5 and comprising 10-35 % by weight of a dissolved polyhydroxy compound and 1-5 % by weight of dissolved calcium hydroxide, expressed as Ca(OH)2. The polyhydroxy compound has formula HOCH2(CHOH)nCH2OH, where n ranges from 1 to 6. The solution is treated to remove solids, including suspended solids. Dispersing carbon dioxide through the solution so as to form calcium carbonate with a consequential reduction in the pH of the reaction mixture is executed. During a time period beginning at the start with a sudden short rise in pH and ending with a subsequent fall in pH but before it reaches 9.5 the dispersion of carbon dioxide is terminated and an alkaline reagent is added to maintain pH for the product mixture of at least 9.5. Recovering precipitated calcium carbonate is carried out.

EFFECT: invention enables production of calcium carbonate of higher purity and a uniform particle size.
