The pulse sequence contains a pulse imaging sequence using acoustic radiation force that contains an exciting pulse, a multi-dimensional gradient pulse applied during the radio frequency excitation of an area of interest which is two-dimensional, so the area of interest has a two-dimensional cross section. The two-dimensional cross-section has a rotational symmetry about the axis of the area of interest, wherein the axis of the area of interest and the axis of the beam are coaxial. The area of interest comprises a predetermined volume that encompasses the target zone and at least a portion of the beam axis. The processor also controls the system of focused high-intensity ultrasound for ultrasonic processing of the target zone so that the ultrasonic processing of the target zone occurred during the pulse imaging sequence using the acoustic radiation force and the image obtained using the impact force is reconstructed, using the magnetic-resonance imaging data. In a medical device operating using a computer-readable medium, a method of operating a medical device for magnetic-resonance imaging using the acoustic radiation force is performed.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrumentation, it is a multichannel device for measurement of spatially inhomogeneous magnetic field and can be used for registration of source data necessary for plotting a magnetic field distribution diagram. The device consists of single-type independent smart modules of instrument channels (SMIC) fitted with wireless optical communication with the control, registration and processing unit, (CRPU). The amount and spatial location of SMICs are pre-set in view of conditions of a specific objective of measurement and registration of magnetic field distribution.
EFFECT: decrease of noise effects at measurement of the magnetic field due to use of optical communication and use of independent power supplies, and also improvement of functionality of the instrument at the expense of possibility of increase of number of measuring channels up to the pre-set one in view of conditions of a specific task with a possibility and pre-setting of individual values of parameters of polling of magnetic field in specific spatial points where the magnetic field is to be measured.

Relative change of separate spectral components is estimated during some period of time due to comparison of their level with threshold values assigned for cryogenic system. Warning signals on necessity of checking of operation are formed on the base of the changes. Specific components of cryogenic system can be subject to replacement if necessary if levels of excited spectral components exceed specified thresholds.

A method for performing the cosmetic treatment is implemented by means of the system for cosmetic treatment comprising a control unit for the ultrasonic treatment function, and the manual probe configured to direct the ultrasonic treatment by providing a linear sequence of the single thermal areas of exposure and comprising at least the first and second replacement converters, each of which comprises a pressurised unit filled with a fluid with an acoustic transparent element, a fluid adhesive and at least one ultrasonic converter.

The above device comprises a first heating unit configured to heat a first patient's area, a first power control unit targeting the first area so that the power is below a threshold, a particle heating unit configured to heat magnetic nanoparticles inside a second patient's area with the use of a time-varying magnetic field. The first area comprises the second area, while the first heating unit is an ultrasonic unit for surrounding tissue heating to a temperature, which is not high enough to cause cell death. The second area comprises at least one hyperthermia area; the above heating area is configured first to increase a temperature of the hyperthermia area. The particle heating unit is configured to heat any magnetic particles additionally inside the second area, thereby increasing a temperature in the hyperthermia area; the ultrasonic heating unit represents a high-intensity focused ultrasound unit. The particle heating unit comprises a magnetic field generation unit; the therapeutic device additionally comprises the second control unit for controlling the particle heating unit, wherein the second control unit is configured to manage the location the second area and to receive patient's treatment planning data.

The system comprises a MR-visualisation unit configured to read out the MR-signals from the patient's body found in the examined region. Also, the system comprises a thermal exposure unit for localising thermal energy inside the body tissue. A system implements a method of monitoring consisting in the initial thermal exposure by heating the body tissue within a focus to the extent of the examination. Further, the MR-signals are selectively read out from the first image plane with a focus of the thermal exposure found within the first image plane. That is followed by restoring a topographic MR image from the MR signals collected from the first image plane. A basic thermographic MR-image is derived from the thermal distribution within at least one second image different from the first image plane. Thereafter, the focus of the thermal exposure is moved to a new place within the extent of the examination; the first image plane is positioned and/or directed in accordance with the new position of the focus of the thermal exposure.
EFFECT: using the invention provides continuous monitoring of temperature within the MR-thermometry based process, even in the situation when the focus of the thermal exposure moves.

SUBSTANCE: system for ultrasonic tissue therapy comprises an ultrasonic applicator accommodating one or more transducer elements operating in the imaging mode to image the tissue to be treated intermittently, a number of variable-focus lenses attached to one or more transducer elements; focal setting of each of the number of lenses is controlled by a voltage signal on the lens; the system also accommodates a motion controller of the ultrasonic applicator in any of a turning direction and an axial direction, and a therapeutic procedure controller for receiving the image signals as entries and for controlling the voltage signal supplied onto each of the number of variable-focus lenses. The therapeutic procedure controller is used for directing an ultrasonic therapeutic beam. At least three variable-focus lenses of the number of lenses are arranged side-by-side on each of the transducer elements for forming a primary beam on an optical axis of at least three lenses. Each of the three variable-focus lenses is configured to provide separate control of the therapeutic procedure controller for varying the primary beam aperture and to form divergent beams along both sides of the primary beam. A method for measuring the primary beam aperture involves the stages, which provide mounting the ultrasonic applicator with one or more ultrasonic transducer elements not far from the tissue of interest, exciting at least one transducer element by an excitation signal, controlling the effect of the excitation stage by means of the images, controlling the primary beam aperture, displacing or turning the ultrasonic applicator to enable the therapy covering substantially various tissue regions for treating various tissue regions.
EFFECT: using the invention enables the accurate adjustment of the therapeutic beam for conducting therapy of prostates of various sizes and shapes, avoiding the involvement of such critical structures, as the rectal wall and nerve ganglia.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an ultrasound machine for fat reduction and body shaping. The machine comprises an irradiating head, a radiation source carrying block, a mechanical arm, a table for a patient, an elevator casing, a touch screen and control circuits. The touch screen shows the menu for the operator to choose the required function. The irradiating head is fixed in the radiation source carrying block, the said head and the block are attached to the mechanical arm as a solid unit, and the mechanical arm is rigidly fixed to the elevator with the casing of the latter being rigidly fixed on the patient table base. The patient table comprises a base, an upper frame formed by the tubes connected by welding, and a guide unit consisting of two groups of sliding guideways in the form of pins interacting with the slides, and drive mechanisms to provide for the movement of the upper table frame in the longitudinal and transverse directions. Each pair of the guideways/slides comprises a pair of mutually parallel guideways. The guideway pairs are mutually shifted by vertical line and oriented in mutually orthogonal directions, the table base is made as a carrying structure formed by the tubes connected by welding. The control circuits providing for the ultrasound machine control are set between the upper frame and the base of the patient table. Each of the drive mechanisms is based on an electric motor.
