FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: coating composition comprises: (a) functional urethane acrylate having 3 to 15 functionalities; (b) a photoinitiator; (c) an organic solvent and (d) a solvent-modified functional urethane acrylate oligomer. The functional urethane acrylate is present in an amount of 20 to 30 wt %, based on the total weight of the composition, and the said solvent-modified functional urethane acrylate oligomer is present in an amount of not more than 11 wt %, based on the total weight of the coating composition.

EFFECT: coating composition can impart excellent rheological properties, as well as excellent gloss properties of the resulting film.

The coating composition prepared by a method comprising: a) preparing a latex emulsion by a method comprising i) mixing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer component and a stabiliser comprising a strong acid, in a carrier to form a monomer emulsion, the strong acid is an acid with a dissociation constant in an aqueous solution, pK less than 4, where the stabiliser is present in the amount from about 0.1% to 2.0% by weight of the polymeric solid, the strong acid is selected from a group comprising dodecylbenzene sulphonic acid, dinonylnaphthalene sulphonic acid, dinonylnaphthylenedisulphonic acid, bis(2-ethylhexyl)sulphosuccinic acid; and ii) reacting the monomer emulsion with an initiator to form the latex emulsion; b) reacting the latex emulsion with a neutraliser to form a coating composition. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of a rubber composition based on hydrogenated butadiene-nitrile rubber with high content of acrylonitrile and low unsaturation and can be used in the rubber and industrial rubber industry to produce multilayer rubber-cord articles, used in conditions with dynamic loads, fuels and oils at high temperatures for a long period of time. The technical result is achieved by using, in the formulation of the rubber composition, a polymer base in the form of hydrogenated butadiene-nitrile rubber with high content of acrylonitrile (49-50%) and low unsaturation (5-7%), a vulcanising agent - sulphur donor in the form of N,N'-dithiodimorpholine, coupled with a dual system of high-activity vulcanisation accelerators, with the following ratio of components, pts.wt: hydrogenated butadiene-nitrile rubber with high content of acrylonitrile of 49-50% and low unsaturation (5-7%) - 100.0; ground sulphur - 0.1-0.3; technical carbon - 40.0-50.0; zinc oxide - 5.0-8.0; white soot - 5.0-20.0; plasticiser - 10.0-18.0; stearic acid - 0.5-1.5; diaphene FP-n/b 2.0; acetonanyl N - n/b 1.0; N,N'-dithiodimorpholine - 0.5-2.0; thiuram D - 0.6-1.5; sulphenamide C - 0.8-2.0. The invention increases oil and heat resistance and dynamic endurance of multilayer rubber-cord articles.

EFFECT: obtaining a rubber composition with high oil and heat resistance, high dynamic endurance, which enables rubber-cord articles to retain operational properties in aggressive media at high temperatures for a long period of time.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to structural materials made by extrusion of wood-polymer composites using wastes from timber sawing, furniture production and wood processing, and can be used for decoration in building construction. The composition for wood-polymer composite material includes binder - polypropylene, complex filler in the form of mineral sludge powder from the water treatment system of boiler plants with specific surface area of 20000 cm2/g and wood flour. The polimerisation-able photochromic isocyanate composition includes. wt.p.: an organic photochromic compound 1-15; a polymerisation catalyst 0.01-5, polymerisable compounds 100. The polymerisable compounds contain, wt.p.: diisocyanates and/or oligoisocyanurateisocyanates 60-100, monoisocyanates 0-40. The catalyst is used in an amount of 0.01-5 wt.p. per 100 wt.p. of the polymerisable compounds. Also described is the photochromic mesh optical material - the product, obtained by thermal hardening of the polymerisation-able composition, described above, at least, on one surface of a sheet of a transparent substrate, made of polymethylmethacrylate, polycarbonate, polyethyleneterephthalate, cellulose derivatives, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinylchloride, polyvinylidenchloride, polyethers, polyurethanes. Also described is a method of obtaining the photochromic mesh optical material.

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-resistant thermoplastic compositions, preferably thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) compositions used when high fire-resistance is desirable, e.g., for wire and cable applications. The composition contains: (a) a thermoplastic polyurethane polymer, (b) a flame retardant and (c) polysiloxane which is modified by adding, preferably at the end of the chain, functional groups such as vinyl, methacrylic and/or epoxy groups. The polysiloxane is present in amount of 0.25 to 0.75 wt % with respect to the total weight of the composition. The composition is used as heat-insulating material for electrical conductors or as electrical conductor sheathing in wire and cable design.
