SUBSTANCE: method of increasing the locomotive traction effort includes feeding sand under the driving wheels of the locomotive directly in the contact place of the driving wheel with a rail at the moment of slippage start and removing sand from the surface of the rails after the slippage termination by means of compressed air fed through a system of additional pipelines. The sand remaining on the rail surface is loosened by multi-directional air jets immediately after the passing of the last wheelset of the first locomotive bogie in the movement direction, under which it was fed. The sand is removed from the surface of the rails by means of sucking through exhaust tubes, transported through a pipeline system, and collected into a waste sand container.

EFFECT: increased traction effort of the locomotive.

The device comprises electric stock (ES) control system, wheel set (WS) frequency sensors connected to WS rotation frequency unit, traction electric motors (TEM) - two motors for each of two bogies, sand feeder control unit, TEM winding voltage regulator made with four levels of voltage regulation, reversible converter (RC) installed at each bogie for its two TEMs, each of them equipped with two contactors. ES control system consists of microprocessor unit (MCU), contactor control unit, sand feeder control unit, at that output of WS rotation frequency unit is connected to the first MCU input, which input-output is connected to input-output of contactors control unit, the first MCU output is connected to RC inputs of each bogie while the second MCU output is connected to input of the sand feeder control unit, the third output is connected to input of TEM winding voltage regulator. RC is connected by two circuits to windings of the first and second traction electric motor of the bogie respectively. RC outputs of two bogies are connected to the second MCU input; contactors control unit has four pair of outputs, each of them is intended for closure or opening of the first and second TEM contactors.

EFFECT: reduced consumption of sand and saving of electric energy feeding traction electric motors.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises compressor with outlet connected with heat-insulated receiver equipped with electric heater connected via automatic temperature controller to poser supply. Discharge heat-insulated hot air main line is connected via electrically driven air valve, outlet of said main valve being equipped with nozzles arranged at front of every drive wheel. Besides, this device includes pneumoelectric valve switch. Said heat-insulated hot air main line with nozzle is arranged in vertical plane and inclined to the zone of contact of drive wheel with road to slide in the support cylindrical bore with compression spring fitted on said end part. Said support is rigidly jointed with the base. Said end part is connected via flexible pipe with said main line and has radial collar at outer top section that thrusts against said support from above while washer with nut is arranged ahead said nozzle for said spring to thrusts against. Cramp with cable connected with control bell crank with sector and latch is diametrically connected to said radial collar.

Actuator of the latter is composed by straight-flow sand feed channel diverging downward. Besides this device comprises air operated shutoff valve arranged inside air chamber separated by baffle. Power supply incorporates electrically driven air valve switch while discharge pipe represents a telescopic design. Top part of said discharge pipe is rigidly coupled by bracket with drive axle beam and, via resilient corrugated hose, with lower ejector.

Proposed device comprises compressor with its output connected to heat-isolated receiver equipped with electric heater connected via temperature AC device to electric power source. Discharge heat-isolated hot air main line is connected via electrically driven air valve, outlet of said main valve being equipped with nozzle arranged at front of every drive wheel. Device incorporates electrically drive air valve switch while ends of said heat-isolated hot air main line inclined in vertical plane to wheel-to-road contact zone, ahead of nozzles, are round telescopic with inner tie spring. Said ends consists of several lengths each being furnished with external collar to fit in superior length and internal collar for outer collar of inferior length to thrust against. Upper lengths of said telescopic part are rigidly engaged by drive axle beam while nozzles are coaxially connected to lower lengths.

EFFECT: higher flotation on ice- and snow-covered roads.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to means for detection of locomotive mounted axles skid beginning in real operating conditions. Speed transducer fitted on the car idle mounted axle to detect beginning of skid. Speed transducer voltage is compared with that of every speed transducer mounted on locomotive drive mounted axles. Note here that difference in voltages of idle mounted axle speed transducer and that of every speed transducer mounted on locomotive drive mounted axles is measured by opposition method in measuring circuit comparator. Proposed device comprises unions for removal of sand left on rails after passage of locomotive. Said compresses air unions are connected to locomotive air system and directed in zone of contact between locomotive wheels and rails on wheel rear side, that is, opposite rolling direction side. Comparator output signal is amplified by supply voltage and fed via relay terminals directly to winding of said feed system pneumoelectric valve.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport facilities, particularly, to diesel locomotive electric transmissions. Proposed device consists of traction generator driven by diesel engine and including independent excitation winding and armature. Traction motors are directly connected to traction generator armature, mounted axles engaged with traction motors. Traction generator armature circuit incorporates switching element to respond to control signal generated in the zone of locomotive adhesion limitation and at wheels slippage to inhibit direct connection of motors to generator armature and to allow connection of mounted axles in series with traction motors to generator armature. Electric transmission is provided with control unit to measure motor rpm in response to signals sent by speed transducers connected with motors and to register origination and termination of slippage. Said control unit connects only two slipping mounted axles to traction generator armature by feeding current pulses thereto in turns.

EFFECT: improved traction.

Proposed method consists in heating of surface greasing of wheels and rails. Said surface greasing is subjected to HF electromagnetic field, its energy being directed to friction surfaces of the wheels and rails. Power of HF electromagnetic field radiation is determined subject to initial coefficient of friction, initial temperature and moisture content in friction zone and rolling stock speed.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices aimed at increasing locomotive traction force owing to increase of wheel-rail adhesion. Proposed device consists of dc traction motors with armatures and series field windings, wheelsets mechanically coupled with traction motors, traction generator whose armature is connected to electric motors, potential comparator unit connected to traction electric motors in points of connection of armatures and field windings, generator field system channel and slipping relay electrically coupled with potential comparator unit and generator field system channel. Device contains short-circuited electric circuit formed by wheelsets connected through sliding contacts to points of connection of armatures and field windings of traction electric motors, and rails, and slipping relay is provided with operation delay. Sliding contacts and wheelsets are provided with electric insulation from other structural members of locomotive bogie. This makes it possible to act by current onto zones of contact of slipping drive wheelset and rails to increase adhesion of wheels and rails.

EFFECT: prevention of slipping without reduction of locomotive traction force.

SUBSTANCE: proposed electric transmission consists of traction generator receiving mechanical energy from diesel engine and containing independent field winding and armature, field winding which is connected to independent field winding and provides forming of external characteristic of traction generator, traction motors directly connected with armature of traction generator. Wheelsets are mechanically coupled with traction motors. Diesel locomotive electric transmission contains switching gear which, by control signal formed in locomotive adhesion limit zone and at break of wheelset-to-rail adhesion, provides disconnection of direct electric connection of traction motors and armature of traction generator and connection of wheelsets to armature in series with traction motors through sliding contacts. Circuit is thus formed to pass generator current along wheelsets and rails which makes it possible to act by current onto zones of contact of driving wheelsets and rails.

EFFECT: increased wheel-rail adhesion coefficient and traction force of diesel locomotive.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway various purpose transport facilities and can be used for revealing drive wheel stalling by the presence of metallic dust in the zone of the wheel-to-rail contact. To detect the metallic dust, air from the said contact zone is drawn by the fan into air box housing electrodes with a discharge gap supplied with high-voltage pulses. Given the metallic dust, air gap is broken down which is detected by the electrode circuit current pickup signaling the stalling conditions.
