SUBSTANCE: device includes a locomotive on-board transmitter and an on-site receiver of messages from the locomotive transmitter, an absolute time reading device is placed on the object and on the locomotive. The locomotive on-board transmitter linked with the locomotive absolute time reading device is configured to transmit in each message the absolute sending time values of each message, and the receiver linked with the absolute time reading device at the object is configured to record the absolute receipt time values of each message. Moreover, a computing device linked with the object receiver is installed on the object, the distance between the locomotive and the object is determined in it according to the time of propagation of the radio signal.

EFFECT: simplification of range estimation with the exception of the calculation stage of the current train coordinates.

The system of forced stop of an engine consists of a locomotive station including units of electronics, indication, switching, recording, and data input located in a driver's cab. The electronics unit includes two modules of data central processing, routing module, digit radio channel module, two modules of motion parametres measurement, two modules of remote facilities, a system of safety control and amplifier of an electric-pneumatic valve. The indication unit consists of the recording module, control module and indication module. The switching unit comprises a block of data generation on state of engine control circuits. The station facility containing radio modification with its internal interface connected to an automated work place of a duty yard master is introduced into the system. This station facility prepares necessary information to a driver for generation of a command to a forced stop.

EFFECT: facilitating forced stop of engine either by duty yard master or by traffic controller; also facilitating control of each moving unit on base of data of navigation, control over stops of both all engines in yard zone and over singular stops with determination of line coordinates.

Proposed electric locomotive is furnished with device for generating output signal and device for receiving of output signal with carrying frequency, for instance f1, and also electric locomotive automatic safety control equipment, high frequency capacitor, two filters to pass carrying frequency f1, third filter to pass carrying frequency f2 from output signal generating device of other electric locomotive and signal logic processing unit. Input of logic processing unit is connected through amplifier and magnetic starter contact of said control equipment to output of device to receive output signal with carrying frequency f1, and outputs are connected with signal lamp, sound signaler and emergency braking unit. Device for generating output signal with carrying frequency f1 is connected with high voltage contact wire through pantograph of electric locomotive, high-frequency capacitor and one of two filters passing frequency f1.
