FIELD: automotive industry.

SUBSTANCE: brake shoe contains the arc-shaped base, having the outer side in the radial direction to install the brake pad and the inner side in the radial direction, opposite to the outer side. Several loops are also formed at the base near its first end. The loops are aligned along the axis and located at the distance from each other along this axis. Each loop is configured in such a way, that it is possible to insert the fastening pin inside it, by means of which the brake shoe can be attached to the brake mounting support with ability to turn. The fastening pin is fixed in the first and the second loops to prevent its movement relative to these loops. The brake unit contains the mounting support, the brake shoes and the drive actuator. The actuator movement causes the movement of the first and the second brake shoes between the engagement position with the brakes working surface and the position, when it does not contact the working surface.

EFFECT: stability of braking and steering dynamics.

A manufacturing method of the shoe consists in the fact that a strip or plate-like workpiece is subject to deep drawing in a direction perpendicular to the workpiece plane. Then, the workpiece for the creation of material thickening located at the edge is crimped across the deep drawing direction, with that, the thickness of the created material thickening is larger than the thickness of the initial material. As per the first version, the shoe is made according to a method, in which the workpiece is crimped across the deep drawing direction. As per the second version, the shoe is made by the deformation and forming of a sheet or plate-like workpiece and has a cavity enveloped with an edge strip and located on the side of the brake lining and the inner outline of which is coordinated with the shape of the brake lining subject to connection to the shoe. Retaining projections are located at the edge of the shoe. The retaining projections provide retention and/or direction of the shoe for the brake lining on a clamp of the disk brake mechanism. A processing device for the implementation of the method has the first working section, the second working section and the third working section. The first working section is intended for deep drawing of the sheet or plate-like workpiece in the direction perpendicular to the workpiece plane. The second working section is intended for crimping of an edge zone for the creation of the material thickening located on the edge side in the direction across the deep drawing direction. The third working section is intended for forming cutting of the workpiece subject to deep drawing. The working sections are located one after another.

EFFECT: easier manufacture and improvement of technical characteristics of the shoe.

SUBSTANCE: brake unit consists of the body with suspension fitted on cushioned frame of the vehicle, gripper mechanism, including levers, brake cylinder, shoes, automatic regulator of clearance between linings and disc with ratchet mechanism and drive of said automatic regulator. Said automatic regulator of clearance is arranged in the unit body between fulcrums of levers. Brake cylinder is arranged between the levers on ends opposite locations of shoes. Said automatic regulator of clearance is driven by brake cylinder via lever drive provided with compensation spring. Device for unlocking of ratchet mechanism of said automatic regulator of clearance is composed of a spring-loaded rod.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability, compact design.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway and industrial vehicles, particularly, to disc brake linings. This lining comprises load-bearing plate and multiple friction elements. Every friction element features long shape with two bent parallel sides. Every friction element is secured at load bearing plate so that long side bent line makes, in fact 0 degree angle relative to appropriate concentric circles of the disc with said lining. Every friction element is secured to said plate via anti-turn lock.

EFFECT: ruled out shift of friction elements, efficient braking, decreased noise.

SUBSTANCE: friction article contains a metal framework with holes, moulded-on friction element, antinoise metal plate with bend elements, polymer dampening layer secured on the surface of the metal framework, opposite surface on which the friction element is moulded-on. Friction element is equipped with shoulders arranged inside the holes of the metal framework. The bend elements are made as sides and are secured in holes of the metal framework on the shoulders of the friction element. Damping layer surface facing the aforesaid antinoise metal plate is made with shoulders. On surface of the antinoise plate, opposite surface in contact with the dampening layer the additional dampening layer is secured, its surface is made with shoulders.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to braking equipment of railway vehicles, in particular, to disc brakes. A disc brake comprises a body arranged on a spring-loaded frame of the vehicle with a tong parallel-link motion, an amplification mechanism, shoes and friction pads interacting with the brake disc. The tong parallel-link mechanism is made by H-shaped levers. The body is made as a monoblock body with two coaxially arranged braking cylinders of a service and automatic parking brake. The body may freely rotate on an axis located horizontally in the plane of braking disc rotation. The amplification mechanism is located inside the monoblock body and is made as single-link in the form of a swinging stem contacting with a leash. The piston of the service brake is made with a stiffly attached guide and a swinging stem, and the piston of the automatic parking brake is equipped with a stem having a plug, a nut and a bolt. The stem with the plug acts at the service brake piston, and the nut and the bolt provide for manual disconnection of the automatic parking brake.

EFFECT: provides for reduced dimensions of a device with provision of required pressing force.

SUBSTANCE: proposed brake shoe contains cast iron bar on rear side of which boss is arranged containing steel member for wedge-like cotter of shoe holder made in form of shaped section of steel plate enclosing the boss. Hole to pass wedge-like cotter is made in boss. Member is secured on steel plate covering bra from rear side and passing under boss. Found at edges of bar over ends of steel plate are T-shaped cast iron projections for engagement with brake shoe holder. Inserts made of material, abrasiveness differing from abrasiveness of cast iron bar are fitted in body of cast iron bar. Inserts are cylindrical, being arranged on steel plate with embedding into cast iron bar in two groups. Centers of three nearest inserts in each group are equidistant from each other. Groups of inserts are separated by section without inserts, and four extreme cylindrical inserts in groups are provided with ring grooves on side surface. Each group consists of seven insets.

EFFECT: increased balanced service life, reliability, efficiency increased service life of wheels owing to reduction of their wear caused by brake bimetallic shoes.

SUBSTANCE: proposed bimetallic brake shoe contains cast iron bar made by molding and steel plate from which steel cylindrical inserts pass into cast iron bar which are arranged in two parallel rows. Inserts are made of material whose abrasiveness is higher than material of bar. Steel plate is placed longitudinally under boss and it covers entire surface of rear side of cast iron bar. It contains middle profiled section enclosing cross boss. Extreme cylindrical inserts in rows are provided with ring grooves on side surface. Diameter d of each cylindrical insert is found from formula d=(0.16-0.32) x B where d is diameter of cylindrical insert; B is width of working surface of shoe, and T-areas of working surface of shoe without inserts is calculated by formula T=(5.0-9.2) x t where T is area of working surface; t is sum of working surfaces of inserts.

EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of shoe, increased balanced service life, reliability, efficiency, increased service life of wheels of rolling stock owing to reduction of their wear caused by brake bimetallic shoes.

Friction pad has upper surface and two beveled edges turned in opposite directions, which do not pass along friction pad entire thickness. Each beveled edge has arc length exceeding one inch, and passes at angle ranging from 10 to 25 relative to upper surface tangent line at its intersection point with beveled edge line. Brake shoe, passing along arc, has at least one friction pad attached to brake shoe outer surface. Drum brake assembly to brake vehicle has drum cylindrical surface, in which two brake shoes are accommodating, passing along arc and having outer surfaces and at least one friction pad.
