SUBSTANCE: fluid heating device includes a reservoir for holding the fluid to be heated and a fuel briquette hydraulically connected with the fluid (and the fuel briquette comprises of a fuel mixture containing reagents and a catalyst) and an ignition source which is thermally coupled with the fuel mixture and the catalyst. The ignition source is selected from the group consisting of an induction heating device, an electrical resistor, a heating device that uses natural gas combustion, and a heating device that uses fuel combustion. The fuel briquette is configured to provide thermal coupling with said fluid. The resistor is designed to be connected to a voltage source. The device further comprises a controller coupled to said voltage source and a temperature sensor. The fuel mixture contains lithium and lithium aluminium hydride. The catalyst comprises of a group element 10. The controller is configured to monitor the temperature from the temperature sensor and, based on the at least partially specified temperature, repeatedly accelerate the reaction in the fuel mixture. Repeated acceleration of said reaction involves changing the voltage of said voltage source.

EFFECT: obtained high outlet temperature.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a heat accumulator for the adjustment of heat conditions of the device incorporated within a spacecraft. The invention covers also the method of fabrication of this device. The accumulator comprises a cellular structural element 3 with multiple cells. Every cell is filled with capsules with a heat accumulating material and a heat conducting filler containing the heat conducting material and an adhesive with the heat conductivity varying from 5 to 29 W/(m.K). The accumulator is fabricated by bringing an initial material 2 composed of the mix of capsules and the heat conducting filler in contact with the cellular structural element 3 with the closure of at least one surface of arrangement of the cells of the element 3, compaction of the initial material at 4-10 MPa, filling of every cell with the material 2 and solidification of the heat conducting filler after the cell filling.

EFFECT: light and inexpensive heat accumulator of good heat conductivity can be obtained.

There proposed is the method involving a container with the released compound suppressing the reaction and automatic release of the suppressing compound to reaction chamber in accordance with the reached design temperature. In order to prevent extremely sudden temperature drops, the method involves steam generation for heat absorption and release of that steam. There also proposed is self-heating container including the compartment for products, which is physically separated from reaction chamber of the single-use chemical heating device, but which is in thermal contact with it, in which the container also includes reaction suppression system containing the suppressing compound in the closed compartment with possibility of releasing it and interconnected as to fluid medium with reaction chamber, and device for automatic release of suppression compound to reaction chamber depending on the selected temperature reached with the product compartment.

The contact heater of packed food products contains a container with two different heat transmitting walls located one against each other, and a closed cavity for water-initiating exothermal composition. The container is made from flexible porous nonwoven material and contains a cover made from gas and water proof material. The container is equipped with a cover made from gas and water proof fibre glass cloth and is located in the cavity of the cover. The container closed cavity is filled with water initiated exothermal composition of uniform mix of calcium oxide and waterless silica gel with the content of last in the amount of 1 part to 3.5-6.0 weight parts of calcium oxide. The casing is made with two heat transmitting surfaces and inlet opening, that closes after the cover cavity is filled with water.
