SUBSTANCE: provide the heating of the tube billet with the straight cut, the outer diameter, exceeding the outer diameter of the elbow, and the length exceeding the outer generating line length. The billet ovalization is carried out on the press upto the value of the oval outer diameter along the minor axis, equal to or not more than 2% of the elbow outer diameter. Then, provide the billet rotation into 90 and the moulding in the stamping die with the oval major axis orientation in the direction of the force action.

EFFECT: uniform wall thickness along the elbow perimeter.
