SUBSTANCE: document includes a substrate and contains two hidden markings visually indistinguishable, when observed in daylighting on its surface, or in its composition. The markings are made in the form of periodic code sequences. The code sequences contain predetermined information. The material of one of the markings has magnetic properties different from the magnetic properties of the substrate material, and the second marking material has spectral properties or luminescent properties in the infrared spectral range that are different from the corresponding spectral or luminescent properties of the substrate material.
EFFECT: increasing the security level of a valuable document from partial forgery.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to handling banknotes fed in a wrapped state. An image recording device (14) enables to optically record and store, in digital form in memory, first and second information on the wrapper. The image recording device (14) has at least one mirror (18), and preferably two symmetrically arranged mirrors, to enable simultaneous optical recording of information on the wrapper, said information located at different sides of a wrapped stack of banknotes. Image recording can be carried out before or after removing the wrapper (16) from the stack of banknotes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spectral sensors for checking valuable documents with projection optics and a detector. An illumination device has a variety of light sources that differ from each other with their emission spectra and are connected in series one after another and light pulses comprising a sequence with emission spectra differing from each other. For each of the light pulses there recorded is the measured value of distribution of intensity of the detected light. A variety of light sources covers the range of near-infrared region of the spectrum and/or the range of the visible range of spectrum so that the spectral sensor is capable of recording spectral distribution of intensity in the specified range of the near-infrared region of the spectrum and/or in the specified range of the visible range of spectrum.
EFFECT: recording of spectral distribution of intensity of light reflected from one or more sections of a valuable document in a visually perceived near-infrared region of the spectrum.

FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a sensor for inspection of a document of value, which moves relative to the sensor. The technical result consists in provision of inspection at low speeds of movement and wide range of attenuation time values. The sensor comprises a lighting device to illuminate a document of value by exciting light, and several detectors for continuous detection of luminescent radiation, which emits the document of value illuminated with exciting light in different areas of detection, which are located with displacement relative to each other along the direction of sensor movement. The first of detectors is made to generate the first signal of luminescence of the first area of detection, which in the measurement plane partially matches the illuminated section, and the second of detectors is made to generate the second signal of luminescence of the previous detection area, which, when considered along the movement direction, is located in front of the first area of detection in the measurement plane.
EFFECT: sensor provides for inspection of luminescence attenuation time on the basis of luminescence signals of several detectors.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to facilities of transactions protection in a cash register. The technical result consists in improved quality of banknotes inspection and recognition. The recording device comprises a microprocessor (1), a recording device (2), a communication module (3) and the first photographing device (4), which comprises a camera (41) and a flashing indicator (42) with various types of beams. In accordance with the optical characteristic of the surface of the processed banknote the microprocessor (1) may automatically correct the flashing indicator (42) to provide various types of beams and control the camera (41) to produce photos of the processed banknote. The microprocessor (1) may receive a command from peripheral equipment via a communication module (3) and accordingly control the first photographing device (4) to produce photographs, and also to receive information on a transaction related to a banknote; and save photoinformation about the banknote and information about the transaction on a memory (2) in encrypted form.
EFFECT: system may efficiently and automatically record process of counterfeit money exchange in an ATM and provide for efficient legal grounds for solving the appropriate disputes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for reading/authentication of banknotes, preferably, to manual devices, which may be used by people with impaired vision to identify different denominations of banknotes. The technical result consists in increased reliability of recognition with the help of detection of combinations of colours of various ranges. The invention is aimed at development of a banknote validator, free of defects that are specific for engineering level. The validator according to the invention may also be used to validate a protected document with marking (for instance, in the form of a luminescent dye or pattern, printed on a document, a luminescent protective thread or strip), which emits luminescence of certain colour under action of appropriate UV radiation.
EFFECT: invention also relates to the method of banknote denomination identification, where a banknote has a control zone with marking that may emit luminescence of certain colour corresponding to specific denomination under action of appropriate UV radiation.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to means of authentication of documents. In the method, the irradiation with the excitation light is carried out, the first module of light receiving receives light having a first wavelength range, that comprises the peak wavelength of fluorescence, excited in the fluorescent substance, as a result of irradiation by the excitation light, and the second module of light receiving receives light emitted from the same area as the area of the sheet of paper, which emits light received by the first module of receiving light, the said light has the second wavelength range, which is located next to the first wavelength range. Then the module of determining the fluorescent substance determines type of the fluorescent substance added to the sheet of paper based on the outputs from the first module of receiving light and the second module of receiving light, and the assessment module assesses whether the sheet of paper is genuine or counterfeit, based on the result of assessment of the module of determining the fluorescent substance.
EFFECT: technical result is to improve the detection accuracy of authenticity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of protection of valuable documents against forgery and is designed for the instrument determining the authenticity of the protected printing products, such as all kinds of valuable documents. The valuable document has a marking comprising at least one inorganic compound with a crystal structure, doped with ions of rare earth elements, having the property of selective interaction with the radiation in the optical spectral range, characterised in that when exposed to radiation on it in a predetermined band of the optical spectrum the radiation of the compound only in this band of the spectrum has an excess over the temperature radiation with the final duration of 10-10 seconds and more.

SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic radiation generator is made in form of a linear array consisting of similar light-emitting diodes 19, having a length which is not shorter than the width of the detected area. A linear photodetector array also consists of similar photodiodes 20, each placed opposite the light-emitting diodes. Adjacent photodiodes 20 of the photodetector are switched in pairs with the possibility of detecting the analysed object simultaneously on all formed channels. Values of given characteristic parameters of the generated luminescence radiation, which corresponds to areas of the surface, i.e., response detected by the photodetector, are the damping characteristic of the generated luminescence radiation and the topology of arrangement of security marks.

FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in recording, reading and reproduction of information from memory cards 2 of different standards and further use of the same information during electronic interaction with the corresponding firmware. Peculiar features consist in the fact that an electronic device of card-reader 1 is equipped with an optoelectronic sensor functionally being a device for memory card 2 authenticity identification by means of detection of at least one protective mark made on it. For that purpose, the section of memory card 2, which has the protective mark, is arranged in sensor field of view. Besides, the above recording, reading and reproduction of information is performed after the above sensor registers positive result of authenticity identification, which is obtained by means of the corresponding processing of data file formed during detection. Card-reader 1 is provided for implementation of the method, the electronic device of which is equipped with an optoelectronic detection sensor, and one of possible versions of certain design of the above sensor is provided.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to marked paper products. Described is a method of production of a marked paper product , using irradiation of the area of the paper product with an electron beam with a dose of 0.10 Mrad to about 5 Mrad, where the electrons have the energy of about 0.25 MeV to 10 MeV. The irradiation is carried out under the conditions selected to change the functionalisation of the specified area of the paper product. The said area may be made in the form of a "watermark" or a symbol.
EFFECT: invention provides the marking on the paper products, which is invisible for the naked eye, which is difficult to copy without enough sophisticated equipment, which makes it difficult to counterfeit.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a multilayer polymer material with a raster structure, having a transparent polymer layer with a micro-raster relief structure in form of spherical lenses and a superimposed transparent polymer layer with printed raster. The layer with printed raster lies at a distance from the surface of the lens raster close to the focal distance of its lenses. The material is made with micro-image raster with resolution of 10-20 mcm. Regions are selected in the field of the printed raster, said regions forming latent images, inside of which the orientation of the raster grid differs from the orientation of the raster grid outside said regions by an angle ranging from 1 to 20 degrees. The latent images become visible upon superimposing the printed raster with the lens raster to form different visual effects.

FIELD: textile, paper.
SUBSTANCE: polymer sandwich element for paper, which has optically variable effect, is made in the form of a sandwich polymer structure containing at least one layer with microraster relief structure. It has an additional layer with printed or embossed raster of microimages, which is spatially combined with microraster relief structure. Microraster structure is made in the form of raster of spherical transparent polymer lenses or prisms or raster of Fresnel diffraction polymer structures. Printed microimages located in nodes of the printed raster consist of elements of different colours with diametre of 20-100 mcm, which are located at the distance of 40-400 mcm from each other. Mutual location of colourful elements in nodes of the printed raster is discernible in different places of a representational printed field. Inside the defined areas the mutual location of colourful elements differs from mutual location of elements outside the defined areas.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing protection degree of products with protective elements without any increase in prime cost of their production process.

SUBSTANCE: method of papermaking and the method of production of the protecting element are proposed. The protrusions or recesses in the form of a light watermark are formed on a paper, and these protrusions or recesses are sealed. On some parts of the paper surface, containing the recesses, a paint layer with a negative image is applied. The paint layer covers no more than 80% of the recesses surface. The protecting element is a composite image consisting of protrusions or recesses formed on the paper in the form of a light watermark, and a paint layer with a negative image applied on these protrusions or recesses, covering not more than 80% of the recesses surface.
EFFECT: elimination of difficulties connected with printing and processing of printed products, simplification of identification of the watermark while maintaining its protective properties.

SUBSTANCE: method of manufacturing a sheet material comprising at least two superimposed fibrous layers, including the following steps: the first paper layer is produced, having at least one elongated zone of zero thickness, by means of filtering of the aqueous suspension of fibers on the grid of the first drum or farmer. And in the process of formation of the said layer, a transparent element is at least partially inserted into it. And the said at least partially transparent element is located at least in the said elongated zone of zero thickness, the second paper layer is produced on the grid of the second drum to form at least one recess in the said second layer, both layers are combined so that at least one recess of the second layer is placed in front of the said at least one elongated zone of zero thickness of the first layer comprising at least partially transparent element, with the formation of the window at this time, and the structure thus obtained is dried.

First paper layer is made with, at least, one elongated zero-thickness zone by filtering water suspension at first drum screen. At least, one transparent element is arranged between two still wet layers to bind both layers so that said recess of second layer, one said transparent element and said elongated zero-thickness zone of first layer are opposed. Made structure is dried.

The document contains a translucent carrier substrate made of paper and/or plastic, and at least one protective element applied on the carrier substrate or embedded in the carrier substrate which when seen from at least one side of the covered instrument in transmitted light shows at least one first image and simulates the presence of at least one first watermark in the carrier substrate. At least in some areas the document has at least one layer simulating first watermark, giving it unexpected optical effects in comparison with protective elements with conventional water marks.

SUBSTANCE: counterfeit-proof paper comprises a transparent, at least at some areas, film element, which is freely accessible, at least at some areas, via counterfeit-proof paper. The film element is connected to counterfeit-proof paper by means of an adhesive layer, which is highly transparent and clear in the region of freely accessible areas. The adhesive layer for at least one of freely accessible areas includes a groove, which substantially covers this area surface. The groove in the form of a freely accessible area has an adhesive layer, which is 1-2 mm less or 1-2 mm more than this area. The adhesive layer in the area of at least one of freely accessible areas, apart from the groove, has an ornamental area, on which the adhesive layer is applied in the form of ornaments, symbols or a code. Also a film elements is proposed, and a method to manufacture counterfeit-proof paper or a valuable documents (its version).

The substrate also comprises a region which is translucent or even transparent, and within which the first and second structures are located at least partially.
