SUBSTANCE: when controlling a communication device that has the first communication unit and the second communication unit configured to communicate with an external device, the second device is connected with an external device to communicate with an external device by using the second communication unit that is different from the first communication unit, and the user operation acceptance is performed. Then, communication is performed with the external device via the second communication unit by using one of the first communication parameters that is set based on the user received operation and the second communication parameter that is shared at the first communication step. Further, the first communication parameter used upon communicating with the external device by using the second communication unit, is stored, and the second communication parameter used upon communicating with the external device by using the second communication unit, and in the case, when the second communication parameter that was previously shared on the first communication unit, is stored at the storage step, the second communication parameter is controlled to store it without overwriting the first communication parameter that has already been stored at the storage step so that it is different from the first communication parameter. At the control step, in response to the request from the user, the first communication parameter and the second communication parameter are stored, which are stored at the storage step, to the user so that the first and the second communication parameters are different from each other and can be reused.

EFFECT: enabling reuse of the communication parameters by recording parameters and distinguishing them, due to the fact that the communication parameter, set by the user, is recorded without overwriting the communication parameter that was shared during the first communication.
