Hose clamp

FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: open hose clamp is provided with an eyelet tensioner. The tightened state is fixed by the geared portions 15, 23, which are engaged with each other outside the tab area and on the side of the tab 24 facing away from the outer end of the clamping band. In the fixed state, the eye does not experience any effort. Thus, even damage to the outwardly projecting eyelet 24 does not result in the loss of the clamping function of the hose clamp.

EFFECT: width of the clamping belt in the ear area is reduced compared to the other full-width areas.

EFFECT: due to the fact that its design is integral with the metal strip, the socket for the locking hook has a much greater strength.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hose clamps. Open hose clamp has a clamping device of the so-called "Oetiker" eye shape. Closed state is locked by means of gear zones, which are engaged with each other outside the eye area on the opposite from the outer end of the clamping strip side of the eye.

EFFECT: in the locked state the eye is free from the load, so that the hose clamp keeps its clamping function even if the eye extending outward is damaged.
