The filter includes the first region as a part of the filter and the second region as the other part of the filter. The electronic control unit is configured to calculate the first deposited amount so that the calculated deposited quantity becomes larger as the ratio of the absolute value of the first differential pressure decrease amount to the duration of the first oxidation period becomes greater. The electronic control unit is configured to calculate the amount of solid particle substance precipitated in the second region based on the duration of the second oxidation period and the second differential pressure decrease value.

In addition, internal combustion engine is equipped with exhaust gas treatment device interconnected with outlet hole of turbosupercharger in order to obtain gases from it. Exhaust gas treatment device is arranged in the second casing having double wall to which cooling liquid is supplied from the first casing. Cooling liquid flows between external layer and internal layer of double wall so that surface temperature of operating power plant does not exceed 150C.

Such design facilitates efficient neutralisation and treatment of BG in separate modules, including the system for BG exhaust which internal combustion engines are furnished with, even at engine idle run and at exceptionally low mass flow of BG. Separate modules also can be accommodated to different loading modes of an internal combustion engine.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for cleaning exhaust gases of diesel engines. Proposed two-stage soot filter of diesel engine exhaust system contains housing of rotation chamber with inlet and outlet branch pipes, swirler, soot collector with afterburner and additional filtering element. Housing of rotation chamber is made double-walled, with head isolator placed in space between walls. Soot collector with afterburner is enclosed in cup installed for longitudinal displacement along guides inside cylinder. Control return mechanism is installed in cylinders after soot collector. Return mechanism consists of spring and rod, and additional filtering element is located in space between cylinder and filter housing and is furnished with electric heater.

EFFECT: provision of effective cleaning of exhaust gases from participles of soot, reduced fuel consumption and power losses at different modes of operation of diesel engine, increased service life of filter and its overhaul life.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for exhaust gas treatment and includes case, filter mounted in the case and containing filtering elements and multiple exhaust gas outlets. The outlets include transit sections for exhaust gas feeding to filtering elements and bypass sections for transit section bypass by gas transport to exhaust gas outlets close to transit sections. First top bypass section along the flow is higher long the flow than first top transit section along the flow, and exhaust gas outlet of the first top bypass section opens at exhaust gas inlet of the filter case. The filter is made by sequential overlapping of fully crimped thin metal sheets with tops and hollows intermitting in direction transverse to exhaust gas flow, and gas-permeable smooth sheets comprising filtering elements.
