SUBSTANCE: downhole tool is proposed for determining the side branches in the borehole wall or in the borehole casing string, containing: the tool body configured to be lowered into the borehole and the plurality of acoustic transponders. Each acoustic transponder is designed to transmit the acoustic signals from the housing and receive the acoustic signals, reflected from the wall of the borehole or the borehole casing string in the predetermined angular segment, different from the predetermined angular segments, corresponding to the other acoustic transponders from the plurality of acoustic transponders. The plurality of acoustic transponders is disposed along the tool body periphery at the distance from each other and are configured to transmit acoustic signals in the radial direction from the tool body along the whole central angle of 360 degrees to the borehole wall or to the borehole casing string. At that during using, only the part from the acoustic transponders plurality within the impulse time transmits the acoustic signal in the predetermined angular segments of one or more transmitting acoustic transponders, wherein at least one acoustic transponder from the plurality of acoustic transponders receives for the subsequent predetermined duration of the echo time, the acoustic signal from the borehole wall or the borehole casing string. In this case, the absence of the received reflected acoustic signal during the subsequent predetermined duration of the echo-time indicates the presence of the lateral branch.

EFFECT: increase of the measurements reliability by increasing the device resolution.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to well devices that can be used for determining the location of sleeves and/or other elements in the well shaft and that transfer to the surface the signal of such location, or when in inverted position, they can be used for applying the specified load to the column bottom layout. The device consists of one or more clamps which can be engaged with the sleeve cavity or the restricting adapter inside the well. Clamps are made with the possibility of protruding from the sleeve offset in opposite directions and bear against the mandrel. Clamps can be drawn into the mandrel slots in order to pass the obstacle on the way to the well. When clamps are moved upwards to the sleeve that can just been passed, they are engaged, and the upward force applied to the mandrel moves the fluid through the throttling point, which creates the time interval which is enough in order to receive on the surface the significant signal of excess draft force. The device can be inverted and used for maintaining the constant load on the column bottom equipment during underwater sinking by using heave compensator.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to definition of geometry of boreholes inside cased wells by means of cross borehole electro-magnetic measurements. There is disclosed a method of definition of location of a receiver in a borehole of a well equipped with a conducting casing pipe, the said method consisting in electromagnetic field induction from the emitter in the first well, also consisting in detection of the first electromagnetic field induced by the emitter in the first location by means of at least one receiver placed in the second well having conductive casing pipe, in detection of the second electromagnetic field induced by the emitter in the second location by means of at least one receiver, and in calculation of set of coordinates of geometry for the first location on base of the first electro-magnetic field and the second electro-magnetic field. Also there is suggested the method of reflection of trajectory of a cased borehole of a well and the well system of logging measurements.

SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a method and a tool assembly for control of position of a working tool in the well shaft. The proposed method involves the following stages: the working tool having a sensor unit connected to it is positioned within the well shaft; the working tool is moved within the well shaft; distance passed by the working tool in the well shaft with the sensor unit is measured by detection of changes of a magnetic field created by a magnet adapted for rotation through the same angle as the wheel is rotated; with that, the magnet is located on the axis or in the axis that passes through the wheel; and position of the working tool in the well shaft is determined by comparing the passed distance relative to a fixed reference point. With that, the working tool contains the following: a lever, a spring located near the first lever end, and a wheel located near the second lever end; with that, the wheel can be rolled along the wall of the well shaft at movement of the working tool within the well shaft.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement facilities in wells in process of drilling, in particular, to facilities for transmission of seismic data in real time. A system is proposed for seismic research in process of drilling, comprising the following components: a drill string comprising at least one seismic sensor and a built-in processor made as capable of digitization of a signal from the seismic sensor for generation of a digital wave signal and processing of a digital wave signal to produce compressed representation of the wave signal for the purposes of storage and transmission. Besides, the compressed wave signal has adjusted sampling frequency and adjusted degree of quantization compared to the digital wave signal. At the same time the adjusted sampling frequency and adjusted degree of quantization are adapted with account of the extent of distortion between the digital wave signal and the compressed representation of the wave signal. Also the method is disclosed for seismic research in process of drilling using the specified system.

SUBSTANCE: tool assembly for performance of operations in the borehole comprises: driven tool; locating unit intended to define position of the driven tool in pipe based on physical signature generated along the whole length of pipe system; and on-board controller designed to transmit signal on actuation of the tool at the moment when the locating unit identifies setting for the selected position of the tool against physical signature and speed of the tool, and to determine time of transmission for tool-actuating signal. The driven tool, locating unit and on-board controller are made so that they may be deployed as independent operating unit in a pipe. The driven tool is designed to respond to the actuating signal from the on-board controller for independent operation in pipes. The driven tool, locating unit and on-board controller are made self-destroying in response or in connection with actuation of the driven tool so that fragments upon destroy are essentially fine, so that it is not required to perform additional operation on their removal from the pipe. Moreover the driven tool is used in continuous simultaneous operation of formation completion and treatment in order to intensify inflow along the borehole without interruption in operation.

SUBSTANCE: using antenna simultaneous synchronous registration of the seismic oscillations excited by the drill tool during drilling is performed. The seismic oscillations are registered using the pressure transmitters of the multi-element hydroacoustic multilinear cable antenna on the sea bed. The transmitter signals are converted to digital form, and are transmitted via the fibre optic cable to the surface data memory and storage system in form of the seismograms. Frequency filtration of signals within several frequency bands is performed. Signals are successively processed in time windows corresponding to the frequency ranges. The spatial filtration of the plane waves is performed, and seismic balance functions are calculated in area under the antenna aperture. Position of noise sources is determined based on the maximum of the seismic balance. Coherent components of the seismograms are calculated for the determined source, and coherent components are calculated based on the seismograms. Data of sources positioning different frequency ranges are integrated, and the well trajectory is determined considering successively determined positions of the drill tool and its total length.

SUBSTANCE: invention discloses the logging of well penetrating the underground bed with at least one logging operation at well section. Note here that logging instrument is displaced in every said operation. Said instrument comprises neutron emitter and at least one detector to measured heat neutron capture gammas-radiation to obtain the gamma-radiation capture spectrum subject to instrument in-well position. Note here that said gamma-radiation capture spectra to reveal the presence of proppant containing the material with large cross-section of het neutron capture in the bed and/or well area. Capture gamma-radiation emitted from proppant containing the material with large cross-section of heat neutron capture differs from that resulting from reaction of heat neutrons with the other components of the bed and well. Note that said difference comprises the following. Subtraction of reference spectra of separate elements. Approximation with the help of least square method or other spectra processing/deconvolution procedures for limitation of capture gamma-radiation emitted by the material with large cross-section of heat neutron capture contained in proppant, or capture gamma-radiation emitted from the other elements. Note also that said determination comprises identification of sections in the well wherein detected is capture gamma-radiation emitted by the material with large cross-section of heat neutron capture.
