SUBSTANCE: proposed yarn is made with the aid of single spinneret and its ratio τ/μ2 exceeds 9, where τ is density of yarn, tex and μ is diameter of filaments, μm; it contains at least 600 filaments at density higher than 1200 tex and diameter of filament more than 11 μm. Yarn may fully consist of glass filaments or may be composite including glass filaments and thermoplastic filaments. Proposed yarn may be used for manufacture of woven articles, uniaxially oriented fibrous plastic, extrusion or winding of filament; manufacture of composite materials and blades for wind-driven electric plants.

EFFECT: facilitated procedure with no impairment of quality.
