SUBSTANCE: mechanism for driving heddle contains cranked levers, an under-heddle draft, updrafts and a heddle frame. In addition, it comprises an elastic-compensating assembly, support-mounting elements and fastening means. The under-heddle draft and a lower arm of at least one cranked lever are connected by means of an elastic-compensating assembly. This assembly is mounted in the articulated joint area of the mentioned draft and the cranked lever, formed by the elastically deformable element. The end sections of the elastically deformable element are fixed to the support-mounting elements, each is fixed to the under-heddle and the cranked lever, respectively.

EFFECT: reduced vibration.

Operation of synchronism of the two motors (3, 5) is carried out by the signals (10) of the control device (9). During a certain number (Tn1, Tn2) of cycles (N) of motion the synchronism of the two motors (3, 5) is changed so that multiple angles (FSN) of the shed closing, at which the shed (7) in the corresponding cycles (N) of motion closes, form an increasing or decreasing sequence.

Guiding lever positioned for rotation around axis has first and second arms arranged at an angle to each other. Drive device applies force to one of lever arms. Rotary motion of guiding lever should be converted to linear motion with insignificant friction losses and wear. This is achieved by connecting at least one arm with linearly movable member through first and second flexible strips. Both strips are positioned and fixed in such a manner that upon each application of force for providing linear forward motion or for providing back linear motion of movable member by means of pulling force, only one of strips is loaded.
