SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of a composition comprising anionic surfactant and a solvent system containing at least one primary solvent having Hansen solubility parameter (δ) below 29, the said composition being encapsulated in a water soluble film pouch. The pouch material contains polyvinyl alcohol to control migration and weeping of the said composition through a water soluble film.

EFFECT: invention provides a means of reducing and controlling the level of weeping and migration of a composition or components of the composition through the film.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polymer washout solvent and use thereof in treating a flexographic printing plate. The solvent contains 10-25 wt % hydrocarbon ester component, 50-75 wt % hydrocarbon ether component and 10-25 wt % hydrocarbon alcohol component. The solvent is used to treat a flexographic printing plate at the washing step. The solvent is less hazardous than existing solvents.
