SUBSTANCE: an endless track for vehicles comprises an endless flexible belt, wehere there are mounted elongated profile elements made of resilient material, assembled as a sinusoid with alternating ridges and depressions. The endless flexible belt has a equal increment system of rounded openings through which elongated profile elements pass with projections inside and hollows outwards forming an endless belt sinusoid. The endless track is also available in embodiements for use in tracked, wheeled and wheeled-tracked vehicles.

Caterpillar track comprises main body divided into sections articulated along division lines extending in crosswise direction. Track body has inner surface interacting with various wheels of caterpillar propulsor and outer surface interacting with soil. Surface interacting with wheels comprises at least one row of drive and/or guide ledges arranged in lengthwise direction and spaced apart at every section of the track. Surface interacting with soil comprises grousers located in lengthwise direction in more than one track section and extending across bending areas whereat grousers feature thinning. Bending areas are levelled with areas on inner surface not occupied by drive and guide ledges.

EFFECT: lower power consumption for track bending and rolling resistance.

Caterpillar system represents a two-row design with staggered air pads, i.e. hollow wheels, one being shaped to barrel while another one represents a hyperboloid circle arc-shape generating lines in every said row. Note here that every said hollow wheel is reinforced by synthetic and/or metallic cords. Common shafts of axially adjacent wheels are integrated by closed chains to make grousers of drive and guide wheels of caterpillar chassis.

Proposed running gear comprises two parallel caterpillar propulsors. Caterpillar propulsor 1 comprises drive sprocket 2, frame with external and internal rails 4, 5 to support guide wheels 6 and tensioning mechanism 7 and traction elastic belt 8 with reinforcing elements 9. Said reinforcing elements 9 are made integral with guides 10 of track wheel rollers 11 and arranged spaced part, holes 12 being made in their spacing to receive teeth of drive sprocket 2. Steel cord 13 covers reinforcing elements 9 above runway 14. Reinforcing element 9 has ball-like pin 11 whereto secured is pneumatic track 21 by means of cap 16, external sleeve 17 welded to flange 18 and split bush 19 with spherical hole 20. Side surface 30 of pneumatic track 21 has annular crimps while compression spring 32 is arranged there inside.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry and may be used in caterpillar transport facilities. Proposed propulsor comprises drive sprocket 1, guide wheel 2, track wheel rollers 3 and traction elastic belt 4 with reinforcing elements 5. Said reinforcing elements 5 are made integral with guides 6 of track wheel rollers 3 and arranged spaced part, holes 7 being made in their spacing to receive teeth of drive sprocket 1. Reinforcing element 5 has ball-like pin 12 whereto secured is pneumatic track 11 by means of cap 15, external sleeve 14 welded to flange 17 and split bush 16 with spherical hole 17. Pneumatic track 11 is arranged to run relative to ball-like pin axle 12. To remove pneumatic track 11 from said ball-like pin 12, bolts 16 are unscrewed to release split bush 16 from external bush 14. To fit pneumatic track 11 in place, proceed in reverse order.

Tracks are made up of cross bar and two straps arranged on opposite side of the chain. Said straps are spaced symmetrically apart over chain width and bolted to cross bar. Said tracks are provided with cogs, grousers and guide lugs. Captivating ends feature L-like shape. Cross bar is arranged on chain outer side to overlap its width and provided with cutouts made at right angle to chain. One cutout is common for chain section captivating ends or two cutouts for every captivating end. Said cross bar had inner side edges representing aforesaid guide lugs. Cross bar and straps are provided with symmetric pin-forming openings to receive drive wheel teeth provided there are arranged opposite each other in assembled track.

Said structural element has pouter surface comprising grousers and inner surface including drive bosses that make drive elements. Said structural element is made from polymer material with Young modulus exceeding 10000 psi (68.94 MPa). Drive bosses and grousers are made from polymer material of said structural element. Second material arranged on one of said drive bosses or one of grousers features higher elasticity than polymer material. In compliance with second version, structural element and drive bosses are made up of a single part from polymer material with degree of crystallinity exceeding or equal to 50%. In compliance with third version, said structural element features thickness below 0.2" (5.08 mm). In compliance with fourth version, structural element is made from polymer material with molecular weight exceeding two million Daltons.

Said rubberised-fabric belts are made up of precut sections hinged together. Three box-like steel grousers are secured to belt sections. Box locking walls are arranged at acute angles to belt sections. Angle vertices are located on grouser external sides. Reinforcing rods are welded to box locking wall faces. Rubber shoes are secured to grouser structural elements. Inner faces of said elements are located above the level of grouser inner faces while outer face slopes stay in contact with reinforcing rods. Cog elements represent ledges with involute profile arranged on rear side of guide ledges and secured to grouser inner faces.
