SUBSTANCE: ceramic mass includes loam, expanded clay, an iron-containing additive and a burnable additive. As the iron-containing additive, a grounded ammonia production waste - a spent catalyst - is taken, and as a burnable additive - a liquid expanded polystyrene production waste (mother liquor), with the following ratio of the ceramic mass, wt %: loam 69.35-70.5 ; expanded clay 23-23.5; an iron-containing waste - ground spent ammonia production catalyst - to a specific surface area of 200 m2/kg 1.25-1.5; a liquid expanded polystyrene production waste with the density of 1.014 g/l 4.5-6.4.

EFFECT: increasing the product strength after drying, burning, reducing heat and power costs due to reducing the burning temperature, preserving the architectural appearance of products.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an ink set containing chromophoric metals for digital printing on ceramic materials. The ink set comprises liquid colouring compositions (A), (B), (C) and one from (D) and (E). The (A) comprises at least a compound of cobalt. The (B) comprises at least a compound of iron. The (C) comprises at least a compound of a metal selected from chromium, nickel and their mixtures. The (D) comprises at least a compound of cobalt and at least a compound of iron. The (E) comprises one or more compounds of zirconium. The said metal compounds decompose at a temperature of from 500 to 1300C. When interacting with the ceramic material the metal compounds of compositions (A)-(D) form colured oxides or colured compounds. The compounds of zirconium from the composition (E) with the ceramic material form white oxides or white compounds. Also the method of decorating ceramic materials by digital printing using the specified set of ink and the decorated ceramic products produced using this method are described.

EFFECT: invention provides ceramic materials decorated with digital printing of wide range of colours with the effect of natural stone.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of ceramic articles, mainly souvenirs and imitation jewellery. The method of making decorative ceramic articles involves preparation of at least two ceramic layers of different colours, deposition on to the surface of the layers of a mixture of powdered silicate glass and a gas-forming agent taken in amount of 0.1-10% of the mass of glass, laying the layers onto each other, rolling and then cutting the roll into workpieces for plastic moulding. The future article is made from the workpieces, dried and roasted.

EFFECT: reduced bulk weight of ceramic articles and wider range of the articles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of ceramics, specifically to making ceramic pigments underglase and overglase ceramic paints for painting ceramic bodies and glase. The technical result is achieved due to that, in order to obtain a stoichiometric composition of helenite, aluminium oxide Al2O3 is added to the mixture which contains iron oxide Fe2O3 and silicate raw material - nepheline sludge. The said components are taken in the following ratio, wt %: niepheline sludge 59.0-61.5, Al2O3 25.0-33.5, Fe2O3 5.0-16.0. The temperature of pigment synthesis 1150-1250C.

SUBSTANCE: ceramic mixture contains the following, wt %: plastic clay 66.0-66.5; kaolin 6.0-8.0; expanded crushed perlite 24.0-26.0; halite 0.3-0.5; liquid potassium glass with density of 1300-1500 kg/m3 1.0-1.7. Products cast in gypsum moulds are dried till humidity is 1-7% and roasting is performed at the temperature of 1130-1150C. Then, a glaze layer is applied onto the surface of the products, and the second roasting is performed at the temperature of 850-900C.

EFFECT: reduction of roasting temperature of products from ceramic mixture.

SUBSTANCE: ceramic mixture for facing tile fabrication contains the following, wt %: kaolin 72.5-74.0; broken tile 0.1-1.0; phosphorite 4.0-6.0; quartz sand 12.0-16.0; pegmatite 3.0-4.0; zircon 3.0-4.0. Components are dosed in required amounts, crushed to powder-like state; ceramic mixture with humidity of 20-25% is prepared, out of which facing tiles are formed by means of a plastic method. Products are dried till humidity of 1-6%, and annealing is performed at temperature of 1100-1150C. Then, a glazed suspension layer is applied onto surface of tiles, and the second annealing is performed at the temperature of 900-950C.

EFFECT: increasing strength of products made from ceramic mixture.

FIELD: manufacture of building materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns manufacture of articles for heat-retention of furnace units and power equipment operated at surface temperatures up to 1100°C. Invention provides charge mixture containing, wt %: swollen vermiculite 20-60, refractory clay or kaolin 37-55, electrofilter dust 1-20, chamotte fraction below 0.063 mm 1-30, and structure-forming polyelectrolyte 3-5 (above 100%). Charge is moistened to form mass, which is aged in closed space for at least 24 h, molded into crude article, dried to residual moisture at most 5%, and fired at 1000-1100°C. Aforesaid polyelectrolyte is characterized by having carboxyl, amide, nitrile, and ester groups in polymer molecule.

EFFECT: reduced air and fire shrinkage and service deformations, raised softening point, simplified manufacture, and achieved absence of anisotropy of physicochemical and thermal characteristics with extremely low heat-conduction values.
