FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: centrifugal compressor shaft seal group includes rigidly connected with each other the gas seal in the form of the seal rings and spacers package and the hydrostatic oil seal in the form of the inner and outer walls, limiting the inner ring cavity, opened towards the shaft. The oil seal ring cavity is connected through the opening in the outer wall with the interior cavity of the bearing housing and through the opening in the inner wall with the compressor flowpath. The inner ring cavity in the meridian section has the diffusion airfoil.

EFFECT: invention let to create the compressor shaft seal group, that does not require the supply of buffer gas during compressor starting and stopping, by means of eliminating the oil from the bearing support entry into the compressor flowpath.

SUBSTANCE: sealing device comprises the first casing with a gland chamber formed inside where a pair of cone-shaped sealing rings is installed, pressing springs, a fit ring, a clutch and two thrust rings with each of the latter having plane and funnel-shape mating surfaces. The thrust rings are placed by their funnel-shape mating surfaces to each other, and the clutch adjoins their outer surface by its inner surface. The fit ring is pressed to the plane mating surface of one of the thrust rings by the above springs. The sealing rings are placed between the thrust ones so that their cone-shaped mating surfaces are turned towards the thrust rings. A throttle ring is set between the sealing rings.

SUBSTANCE: end seal of turbomachine rotor comprises a ring element with sealing rings installed on the rotor shaft, the outer surface of the ring element is fitted by radially oriented collar, and a pressing bush installed on the ring element and able of axial displacement with a graphite ring being set in the bush. A spring ring with cross cut is installed between the pressing bush and the ring element collar and is contacting with them by end surfaces. The contacting end surfaces of the pressing bush and the spring ring with the cross cut are made conical.

EFFECT: simplified seal design and its improved reliability in the course of operation due to the decreased degree of graphite ring wear.

SUBSTANCE: structural-technological model range of chemical pumps includes a set of pumps. Each pump of the row is made as follows as per a single-type system: it is centrifugal, one-stages; it includes a rotor shaft and an impeller and consists of flow and travel parts. The pump travel part housing includes bearing supports. The flow part housing is provided with a flow cavity combined with a spiral collector of pumped liquid with diffusion airfoil gradient of 1÷70 m2/m. The impeller is of a closed type and has the main and covering discs and a system of blades. The main disc is protected on the rear side with a hydraulic lock containing an impeller in the form of an independent disc. The flow part housing is equipped with an detachable annular wall geometrically coordinated with the hydraulic lock. The least of outside radii of the above wall is equal at least to the wheel flow-through radius of the wheel, and hydraulic lock impeller radius is equal at least to the wheel radius. The main wheel disc is equipped with an annular comb and a through opening.

EFFECT: increasing service life, durability, operating reliability of pump operation, pumping efficiency, protection against leakages of pumped media and noxious fumes to atmosphere.

Flow section housing has ledged rear wall the smaller outer radius of which makes at least the impeller flow radius. Proposed support contains rotor including disk, trunnion with fitted-in bearing inner race, contact ring, front and rear labyrinth bushings and mating sealing rings of stator. Disk trunnion is made cylindrical to place of connection with disk. Front and rear labyrinth bushings are made integral, and sealing rings of stator are made integral also. Solid labyrinth bushing is fixed on rotor trunnion by pins.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to compressors of gas-turbine engines and increases reliability and tightness of disc-labyrinth joint. Beyond-compressor labyrinth is installed in compressor of gas-turbine engine on disc of the last stage with the help of peripheral joint. Channels are arranged in labyrinth web. Closed cavity between disc and labyrinth is connected via channels to unloading beyond-compressor cavity of low pressure. Cavity is connected to compressor flow path via radial and axial clearances in peripheral joint. Sealing combs of labyrinth are arranged with external diametre decreasing from disc. Ratio of passage area of channels in F1 labyrinth web to passage area of axial clearances in peripheral joint of disc with F2 labyrinth is within the limits of 10…30. Ratio of external diametre of sealing comb D nearest to disc to external diametre of sealing comb d that is most distant from disc is within the limits of 1.02…1.2. By pressing beyond-compressor labyrinth to the last stage compressor disc by means of gas forces reliability and tightness of disc-labyrinth joint are increased at all modes of gas-turbine engine compressor operation.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to labyrinth seals of internal combustion engine supercharge turbocompressor rotor, in particular, to methods for prevention of gas leaks through labyrinth seals. Specified technical result is achieved by the fact that compressed air from autonomous power supply source, for instance, in diesel locomotive pneumatic system, is supplied to labyrinth seals in pulses of preset duration, in specified sections of time via controlled pneumatic valve and active ejector nozzle connected to it, and fuel from diesel locomotive fuel system is also sent to passive nozzle of ejector via additional controlled device by short-term pulses.

EFFECT: reduction of compressed air flow from autonomous power supply source for protection of labyrinth seals with simultaneous removal of scale from sections of labyrinth seals by means of automatic supply of high-pressure compressed air pulses or air emulsion of diesel fuel.

SUBSTANCE: in a hood of a rotary machine, cast components are mounted along with seal elements in the form of rings placed in closed cavities of machine components. The seal ring comprises a base ring and a circular skirt axially extended from the base ring. The seal ring comprises circularly displaced cavities alternating with contact pads which allows for desired deformation of the seal ring material in the cavity. The contact pads between the cavities have cross-sectional surfaces gradually increasing from a free surface of the small area to generate compressive force required to increase the deformation exponentially with indicator exceeding 1. The cavities can be circumferentially displaced and opened at radially external surface of the seal ring. The seal ring can be made of elastic material which can be incompressible. The skirt can be narrowed towards moving away from the base ring. The base ring can have a projecting seal edge. On its free end, the skirt can have an oblique periphery edge.

Proposed pump gas main housing 12 accommodating impeller 18 running in chamber 16 formed between end bearing 25, 28 and peripheral main section of casing 24. End bearing 28 fitted on the impeller suction end is sealed by O-ring 32 adjoining aforesaid main section of casing 24. Pipe section 36 that passes along the pump axis is integrated with end bearing 28 and stationary pipe inlet section 40. Bearing surfaces 38, 44 on pipe sections 35, 40 seat on opposite sides of the chamber accommodating circular axle 50 that extends to displace end bearing 28 to eliminate whatever wear-caused clearance relative to impeller 18.

Two annular parts, in contact with each other and belonging to two assemblies to bound aforesaid chamber, are pressed together with axial force. Annular spacer is butted between surfaces of annular parts. One of the latter comprises a cylindrical section, while said annular spacer comprises a cylindrical surface extending over to aforesaid cylindrical section and a radial section resting upon flat surface of the other annular part.

EFFECT: higher tightness of joint due to compensation of thermal oscillations, protection of engine assembly units and parts against sealing gasket fragments.
