Method for producing prussian blue/polypyrrole composite coatings with stable electro chromic transition

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for preparation of stable electrochromic coatings based on Prussian blue and a conductive polymer component. It can be used for production of electrochromic coatings on optically-transparent electrodes for architectural, building and automotive applications. Disclosed a method for production of Prussian blue- polypyrrole nanostructured composite coating with stable redox- and electrochromic transition on the surfaces of optically-transparent electrodes by a single-stage sedimentation in a mixed solution of ferrous nitrate (III) and hexacyanoferrate (III) as oxidising agents, and pyrrole monomer with a nitrate supporting electrolyte as a reducing agent with pH 1.0±0.2, within 48 hours.

EFFECT: invention provides a simple single-stage method for production of Prussian blue- polypyrrole electrochromic nanostructured composite coatings on optically-transparent electrodes.

The active medium of the sample used is material with topological insulator properties, wherein excitation is carried out with pulsed radiation with exciting pulse duration τ=10-12-10-14 s, pulse energy Epul=10-5-10-2 J and wavelength λexc=350-5000 nm, wherein the exciting radiation is directed on the plane of the sample with active medium at an angle α≠90°. The active medium used can be a thin film or crystal of bismuth selenide (Bi2Se3) or bismuth telluride (Bi2Te3). The detecting element used can be zinc telluride (ZnTe).

The polymer sheets used are two sheets of a transparent material, one of which is coated with an elastic polymer in the form of points with size of less than 30 mcm, followed by polymerisation thereof, joining with another sheet by stacking, followed by sealing the periphery and feeding into the space between the films through a valve a coloured optically transparent working fluid for controlling the degree of light transmission through inlet and outlet thereof. During inlet of the working fluid, light transmission decreases and during outlet of the working fluid, light transmission increases.

EFFECT: controlling the degree of light transmission, which means improving optical characteristics of surfaces depending on operating conditions.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry and concerns a method for producing an additive in the form of hard fibres, wherein the said additive is storage stable and based on the eco-friendly polyamide acid; the said additive in a salt state can be used for the production of composite materials and metal coatings. The method for polyamide acid salt production comprises forming a polyamide acid fibre cocoon by mixing 13.0-13.5 wt % polyamide acid solution in dimethylformamide with distilled water while stirring at the rate of 50 rev/min. The obtained cocoon is washed with distilled water, and separated into individual fibres to dry in the air and then at 120-130°C for 60 min in a cabinet drier, in a vacuum thermostat at 79-81°C and a pressure of 1 atm. to reduce dimethylformamide content down to 3.68 wt %, followed by dissolving the fibres in a mixture of N-methylpyrrolidone, monoethanolamine and water to obtain the said salt. A method for producing coatings based on fluoropolymers with polyamide acid salt or polyamide acid-based lacquer.is also disclosed.

EFFECT: storage stable polyamide acid in the form of fibres, improved quality of polyamide acid and composite materials based on fluoropolymers and polyamide acid, improved antiadhesive and antifriction coatings.

SUBSTANCE: first step includes obtaining low-hydroxylated insoluble fullerenols by reacting concentrated fullerene solution in o-xylene with aqueous ammonia solution in the presence of a tetrabutylammonium hydroxide phase-transfer catalyst at 35-40°C. At the second step, the obtained low-hydroxylated insoluble fullerenols are hydroxylated to transform them into a water-soluble form by mixing with 6-15% aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution and heating for 4-5 hours at 65°C. Water-soluble fullerenols are then precipitated from an alcohol-containing solution.

EFFECT: simplifying the method while preserving quality characteristics and full extraction of the end product.
