Method for waste mineral motor oils purification

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: purification of waste mineral motor oil using monoethanolamine, orthophosphoric acid as coagulants and isopropyl alcohol, methyl ethyl ketone as solvents, purification is carried out in two stages, the first stage includes introduction of 1 vol. % of monoethanolamine and 1 vol. % of isopropyl alcohol into the waste oil, followed by heating to 110°C and centrifugation, and the second stage includes introduction of 1 vol. % of monoethanolamine and 1 vol. % of a reagent, consisting of 94% isopropyl alcohol, 3% phosphoric acid and 3% methyl ethyl ketone, into the purified oil, and the mixture is heated to 120°C and centrifuged.

EFFECT: application of the proposed method for waste mineral motor oil purification allows to completely remove insoluble impurities, oxidation products, resins due to two-stage purification, the refined oil has a high degree of clarification.

Device differs from know designs in that it comprises extra second vessel, system to discharge oil from second vessel, system to feed oil to second vessel including oil flow laminator arranged above vessel bottom. Note here that system to discharge oil from first vessel is connected with system to feed oil to second vessel. System to feed oil to first vessel is equipped with heater. Said system to discharge oil from second vessel incorporates the extra filter while first vessel is equipped with top wall. SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises placing hollow truncated cone with hole at waveguide end top to place waveguide with hollow truncated cone in electric unit filled with transformer oil. Note here that ions flow down from surfaces of waveguide and hollow truncated cone to induce rotary magnetic field in ambient space. Free radicals in chaotic state come to rotary magnetic lines of force. Distance between free radicals decreases to make free radicals integrate into clusters for recombination of free radicals into neutral molecules. This results in decrease in concentration of free radicals in transformer oil. It brings about transformer oil oxidation retardation.

SUBSTANCE: 50% aqueous solution of carbamide in amount of 0.1-0.3% with respect to volume of the oil to be cleaned is mixed with 1-2% of the oil to be cleaned. The obtained mixture is added to the operating engine oil which is preheated to 80-90°C and then stirred for 5-10 minutes, followed by separation of the oil by centrifuging.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to method for recovery of waste transformer oil which is contained in reservoir and its purification from ageing products, and the above method involves the following operations: installation of waveguide in which a flattened hollow cone is located above transformer oil reservoir. At that, top of flattened hollow cone is directed to transformer oil coaxially to the reservoir. Oil recovery is performed due to action of water ions and molecules dropping off the surface of waveguide and hollow flattened cone and enveloping the above surfaces, due to which interaction of water ions and molecules with radicals of transformer oil, coagulation of ageing products and their settlement at the reservoir bottom occurs; as a result, recovery of waste transformer oil and its purification from ageing products is performed.

EFFECT: method allows improving electrical strength of waste transformer oil, decreasing moisture content and increasing product purity class by means of coagulation of ageing products in rotating ionic field.

SUBSTANCE: used oil is heated to 90°C and processed, in mixing, by water solution of electrolyte (silicate and sodium, potassium and lithium carbonate) in amount of 0.4-0.6 wt % of oil weight. Then, water solution of lithium, sodium or potassium salt of perfluoroether-perfluorocarboxylic acid and organic cation-active coagulant in amount of 0.3-0.4 wt % of oil weight are added to said mix. SUBSTANCE: spent oil is successively passed through three layers, wherein the first layer employs KM or 2/25 calcium carbide or calcium carbide screenings, where acidic impurities are dried and neutralised. The second layer employs a mixture of small-fraction quartz sand with particle size of 0.1-0.63 mm with alumina or fine-grained MSKG or ASKG silica gel in weight ratio (1-10):1, in which adsorption and filtration take place. The third layer employs coarse-grained KSKG silica gel or mixture thereof with coarse sand with particle size 1.6-7 mm, in which, simultaneously with percolation, degassing is carried out using a vacuum and continues in the thin oil layer until collection of the purified oil.

EFFECT: simple and cheap technology owing to realising the method in one apparatus and high quality of purification.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to purification of light- and middle-group mineral oils exhausted during operation of vehicles. After preliminary magnetic separation-mediated removal of suspended solids, centrifugation, and filtration, oil is additionally stirred at 15 to 80оС with aqueous solution of reagent at reagent-to-water ratio 1:1 and then settled until full clarification. Reagent contains 60-95% orthophosphoric acid, 4.7-39.7% isopropyl alcohol, and 0.3-10% methyl ethyl ketone.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for purifying petroleum-derived oils and can be used for removing suspended impurities from waste motor oils at railway enterprises, engineering plants, big fleets, and the like. Waste water is purified by preliminarily heating oil to 70-75оС, adding urea in the form of 30-50% aqueous solution in amount 0.5-1% on the weight of oil, and separating impurities. According to invention, after addition of urea, 2-2.5% of ethyl alcohol is added.

SUBSTANCE: spent lubricating oil from feed reception stock is settled to remove water and suspended particles and then passed to chemical treatment and coagulation block, to which calculated amounts of coagulant aqueous solution and reagents are added. Mixture is agitated with air and settled to separate waste water, which is sent to oil trap. Thus treated oil is directed to intermediate stock and then to vacuum drying block or to feed preparation stock wherein feed is prepared for vacuum distillation. Dried oil is passed through contact purification and filtration block and then stored in product stock. Oil freed of water and suspended particles may be, after optional vacuum drying, directed to feed preparation stock and then subjected to vacuum distillation. Fuel gases released during vacuum distillation are used to concentrate alkali effluents, light fractions are used as furnace fuel, bottom residue is recovered, and desired lubricating oil fractions are subjected to contact purification and filtration followed by collection of lubricating oil in purified oil stock and mixing them with special additives. Possibility of separately receiving different-quality feed material is also envisaged.

EFFECT: enabled reusing environmental dangerous waste, improved quality of regenerated oils, and simplified technology.

SUBSTANCE: industrial oil is treated with purifying reagent. As purifying reagent 25-40 % fresh aqueous solution of chloramine, benzene sulfonic acid and calcium chloride mixture in mass ratio of 3-7:1-2:5, respectively, is used. Said reagent is charged into exhaust industrial oil heated to 15-60°C in amount of 5-60 kg per 1 m3 of oil (calculated as dry matter). Process includes 60 cycles comprising sequential steps of mixture agitation for 0.5-3 h and conditioning for 1-12 h. Then obtained product is conditioned for 24-48 h, upper oil layer is drawn off and product is conditioned again at 15-55°C for 7-14 days followed by drawing off of target product-containing upper layer.

After this, the oil and the liquid separation medium are put into the separation chamber of the rotating centrifugal rotor. The cleaned oil is output through a central output opening for the light phase of the separation chamber, and the liquid separation medium and the separated particles are output through the output opening for the heavy phase. Heavy polymer is the preferred separation medium.
