SUBSTANCE: brake coupling with the universal self-centering system comprises input and output shafts and is fitted with a universal self-centering system. This system has internal and external bases, input, output and intermediate shafts, sprockets or gears, or rotation rollers connected by a closed belt, rope or chain lever. Torque from the rollers, gears or the sprockets is transmitted to the intermediate shaft, connected by a spring with an external base. When fixing the intermediate shaft relative to the outer base, a chain, rope or belt is fixed and the output and the input shaft rotation stops. Full coupling action time is dependent on the bases axis displacement and can vary over a wide range. The coupling does not contain switchable and rubbing parts.

On external surface of the intermediate bush there are cut screw splines of counter direction engaged with internal screw splines of the driven shaft. An elastic element is installed between the intermediate bush and the flange of the driving shaft via an anti-friction washer. Also, tilt angle of a screw line of splines amounts to φfr≤ψ≤ (90°-φfr), where φfr - is friction angle.

EFFECT: increased angle of twist of driving shaft relative to driven one and increased power output of clutch.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to machine building, in particular to elastic clutches. Elastic clutch consists of master and slave half-clutches connected to each other by means of elastic damping elements. In opening of master half-clutch there are two carriers radially installed, to the ends of which rollers are fixed with the possibility of free rotation. Carriers are strutted with spring installed inside cavity, which communicates to atmosphere by means of throttling opening. Rubber race is pressed into internal surface of slave half-coupling, and its internal surface has elliptic shape, also there are thrust collars made on internal surface of race, rigidity of which is provided by metal plates. To prevent slippage of race in slave half-coupling, on its external surface there are spline ledges arranged.

EFFECT: reduction of dynamic loads transferred from slave shaft to master one, increased smoothness of effector operation, compensation of shaft axial displacements, and also suppression of torsion torque oscillations.

The disconnecting switch also has a coil spring (7) engaged with an internal surface (81) of the holder (8) of the one-way clutch. The coil spring (7) is connected with the torsion spring (6). The coil spring (7) is loaded in the reel-out direction such, that by friction it can engage with the internal surface (81) in the drive direction.

Coaxially with external base gears, different diameter gears are fixed transmitting the torque to the brake gear, which consists of two coupled gears of different diameters. Torque from the input shaft to the brake gear is transmitted by shifting the shaft axis on the inner base relative to the outer base axis.

A universal self-centering system with no matching geometric centers is used. A universal self-centering system has inner and outer bases which has three or more rollers, or rotation gears or sprockets connected by a closed belt, chain or rope. The geometric center of the inner base does not coincide with the geometrical center of the external base, and the bases rotation axes coincide. In presence of a torque on one of the bases, the chain, belt or rope are moved along their perimeters and rotate the sprockets, gears or rollers that are connected by the chain, belt or cable. On the same axis with the rollers, sprockets or gears of a bases, additional gears are fixed, which transmit torque to the gear fixed to the output shaft.

SUBSTANCE: braking method consists of using the universal self-centering system containing outer and inner bases, rollers attached to the bases, gears or sprockets which are connected together by a closed cable, a chain or a belt. An input shaft is connected to the outer base and coincides in direction with a shaft on the inner base, the brake gears of different diameters are coaxially fixed to the gears of the outer base and transmit torque to a brake shaft. The torque from the input shaft to the brake shaft is transmitetd by shifting the shaft axis on the inner base relative to the axis of the input shaft. The brake gears differ in diameters, but simultaneously contact the brake shaft and try to rotate it at different rate. The toothing of all parts is constant and non-switchable. Transmission of rotational torque from the input shaft to the brake shaft is carried out smoothly at initial speed equal to zero.

EFFECT: possibility of braking without the use of friction pairs rotating relative to each other.

The action of the output shaft results in braking the object, and reverse action on the universal self-centring system through the output shaft is not present. The electromagnetic brake with universal self-centring system does not contain friction and switching parts.

EFFECT: complete braking of the braked axis when the electromagnetic energy is less than the energy on the braked axis.
