SUBSTANCE: barrier comprises the housing fixed on the base, the movable beam placed partially in the housing, and the drive mounted in the housing for horizontal movement of the movable frame-structured beam from the movement path blocking position from one side of the housing in the rollback position providing the possibility of movement on this path on the other side of the housing, the supporting stand at a distance from the base, configured with the socket for the movable beam end portion. The housing contains a horizontal guide for the movable beam placement in its horizontal position with rollers arranged in line for supporting the movable beam bottom part and for the possibility for moving the latter in the horizontal direction. The openings for moving the movable beam in the housing are sealed with rubber gaskets, the upper housing surface is inclined, and the upper part of the housing side wall opposite the location of the guide with rollers is made hinged, the through openings in the beam are made closed, the beam downward and upward limit stops are made on the support stand, and in the area of switching the beam into the rollback position the enclosure with a cavity for accommodating the beam is mounted on the base.

The device is provided with, at least, one control sensor, which can be acted upon by the automobile. The sensor is connected to a master controller, which is connected to a high-pressure medium station. A common plate rests on the flanges.

The master controller is connected to a high-pressure medium station. The metal columns have flanges, on which a common plate rests.

The device for foiling a terror act has apparatus, preventing breaking by a ground mine-infested vehicle to a guarded object, made in form of at least, one spring loaded metal post, fitted below ground level at an angle to the side opposite the guarded object, and with provision for moving under the ground. Inside the post there is a container with combustible substance, with an electrical igniter at the bottom end. Each metal post is linked to its release mechanism, electrically connected to a controller, which is connected to at least, one electrical igniter control sensor. The release mechanism can be in form of a coupling rod with an electromagnetic unit in form of pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder. The release mechanism can have an actuating device in form of pyrocartridge. The control sensor is in form of a microswitch. The controller is connected to a control device. The device can have a manual release mechanism.

EFFECT: simplification of the design and lower cost of the device.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reflecting materials, more specifically to a retroreflective coating and to a method of applying a retroreflective coating on a surface in order to improve visibility of roadside hazards at night. A method of applying a retroreflective surface on an inclined surface on a structure, as well as inclined surface substantially passing along a longitudinal axis, said method comprising the steps of: applying a binder material on at least a portion of the inclined surface, where the thickness of the layer of the applied binder material is at least 10 mil (0.254 mm); embedding a plurality of retroreflective granules at least partially within the thickness of the binder material, the plurality of retroreflective granules being coated with a hydrophobic coating and having density of at least 0.06 pounds/square foot (0.293 kg/m2), each retroreflective granule comprising a glass element having a refraction index of at least 1.5 and a diameter greater than about 0.012 inches (0.305 mm), wherein said retroreflective granules are discharged from a nozzle onto the inclined surface, the nozzle moving in a forward direction with respect to the structure, and the direction of discharge being in a backward direction relative to the movement of the nozzle with respect to the structure. When applying on the inclined surface, substantially passing along the longitudinal axis, the nozzle is directed in the discharge direction, which is oriented at an acute angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the inclined surface.

The sidewalks are separated from the roadbed with fences (5) in the form of decorative lattices having passages (6) for entering the crossing. A strong elastic band (7) inserted in a slit gap (8) of the electromagnetic coil (9) connected to the forbidding signal lamps of the traffic light, and equipped with a ferromagnetic strip (12) drawn into the coil, is placed in the fence at the entrance.

SUBSTANCE: parking column with the possibility of accepting the retracted and extended configurations comprises a part of the column including a substantially elongated hollow body and a locking mechanism adapted to fix mentioned column in the extended configuration. The parking column comprises a pedestal portion including an upper and lower frame, a body connected to the upper frame, at least two pulleys configured to receive strings thereon, at least two weights vertically displaceable within said pedestal portion, a common weight of which slightly exceeds the weight of the mentioned part of the column. The strings are wound on the pulleys and connect with the weights on the part of the baluster.
