Method of producing yarn with alternating twist

FIELD: textile and paper.

SUBSTANCE: method can be used for production of yarn with alternating twist and ensures yarn quality with reduction of labor input, simplified design and servicing. Method involves alternating torsion of yarn with help of three identical reversive pneumatic reels, two of which are close to exhaust device, third is to receiving spool. At that, simultaneous twisting of two slivers is performed with same pressure of compressed air into two reels, close to exhaust device, and subsequent twisting of slivers in third connecting reel, approached to receiving reel. Rotation direction of air in all reels is constant and can be both clockwise and counter clockwise. Produced yarn has original structure.

EFFECT: method of alternating twist makes it possible to increase strength yarn obtained by reel method.
