FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hot-melt adhesive, particularly to an adhesive, which is used in production of disposable products. Adhesive contains: (A) propylene homopolymer with melting temperature equal to 100 °C or lower, which can be obtained through polymerisation of propylene using metallocene catalyst; and (B) an ethylene-based copolymer.

EFFECT: hot-melt adhesive is suitable for high-speed application and spiral application at low temperature, and also has excellent adhesion to a polyethylene film and nonwoven web.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hot-melt adhesive, which is used for production of disposable products such as a diapers and hygiene products, which are a typical product made from nonwoven fabric. Adhesive contains (A) thermoplastic block-copolymer, which is a copolymer of vinyl-containing aromatic hydrocarbon and a conjugated diene compound, (B) propylene homopolymer, obtained by polymerisation of propylene using metallocene catalyst, (C) a tackifying polymer and (D) a plasticiser. Propylene homopolymer (B) has a melting point of 100 °C or lower and polydispersity (Mw/Mn) from 1 to 3.

EFFECT: produced hot-melt adhesive is excellent for high-speed coating and application of coating using a vortex method at low temperature, and is excellent in its adhesion to polyethylene and nonwoven fabric; id est disposable products obtained using hot-melt adhesive, can be effectively made using a line for high-speed coating method, and application of coating can be performed at low temperature of about 140 °C, which is reason of higher safety; wherein disposable products are excellent in adhesion to nonwoven fabric and to a polyolefin film and less likely to peel off.
