Binder for forming particle-based or laminated products comprises a mixture of at least three components A, B, C, a first component A comprising a natural protein powder, a second component B comprising magnesium oxide, a third component C comprising magnesium chloride or magnesium sulphate solution at 32Be (15C), or a free combination of both.

EFFECT: technical result is resistance to effect of weather conditions and prolonged thermal loads.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to versions of a nonionic copolymer of a polyether and a polyester used in a cement composition for prolonging workability and to versions of a cement composition. The nonionic copolymer contains residues of monomers A, B and/or C. Monomer A is at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer of a carboxylic ester containing a moiety which hydrolyses in a cement mixture, where the hydrolysed monomer residue contains an active binding portion for a component of the cement mixture. Component A is a hydroxyalkyl monoester, a hydroxylalkyl diester or mixtures thereof. Monomer B is at least one ethylenically unsaturated alkylene ether monomer containing at least one C2-4 oxyalkylene side group consisting of 1-30 links. Monomer C is at least one ethylenically unsaturated alkylene ether monomer containing at least one C2-4 oxyalkylene side group consisting of 31-350 links. Molar ratio of monomer A to the sum of molar ratios of monomers B and C is equal to 1:1-10:1. The cement composition contains water cement, water and an additive which contains said copolymer.

SUBSTANCE: composite material can be used to produce sheet decorating and heat-insulating materials in residential, agricultural and industrial construction, as well as for producing moulded packaging elements and containers susceptible to biodegradation, i.e., having biodegradable properties. The polymer composite material consists of, wt %: fibre filler - waste cardboard and/or paper 11.0-12.0, cationic-anionic polyacrylamide resin Ultrarez DS-150 56.0-57.0, polyvinyl alcohol in form of a 15 wt % aqueous solution 27.0-28.0, sodium tetraborate 6.0-3.0. Described is a method of producing a composite material which involves separating fibres of the fibre filler on a rotary disperser with rotor speed of 2500-3000 rpm, wherein the polyvinyl alcohol is added at the mixing step in form of a 15 wt % aqueous solution together with the cationic-anionic polyacrylamide resin Ultrarez DS-150 and sodium tetraborate, pressing and drying.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a redispersible, water-soluble polymer powder based on at least one modified natural latex. The modified natural latex can be obtained by mixing natural latex with at least one radical initiator and/or oxidising agent. The latex can also be obtained by mixing and reacting natural latex with at least one unsaturated olefin monomer and with at least one radical initiator. The polymer powder contains up to about 95 wt % of least one natural latex, about 0 to 50 wt % of at least one protective colloid, about 2 to 70 wt % of at least one filler and/or anti-caking agent, as well as optionally further additives.

EFFECT: invention increases looseness of the polymer powder, the powder does not cake over a long period of time at high temperature, compositions containing said polymer powder have high water repellence or low water absorption.

SUBSTANCE: invention primarily relates to sound absorbing and/or sound insulating structural materials. The method of making a wet spinning substrate with high sound absorption involves the following steps: dispersing extruded fibres in an aqueous suspension with suspension consistency of up to 3.5 wt %; mixing said aqueous suspension until a homogeneous aqueous mixture is obtained; distributing said homogeneous aqueous mixture on a screen conveyor; dehydrating the homogeneous aqueous suspension to obtain a wet mat; drying the wet mat to obtain a sound-absorbing substrate. A fibre-based sound-absorbing intermediate product contains a composition which contains extruded fibres and water, the composition being characterised by dispersion consistency of up to 3.5 wt %. The fibre-based sound-absorbing substrate contains a mixture of extruded fibres and spun fibres, wherein the ratio of the number of extruded fibres to the number of spun fibres is about 0.13:1; and binder in which there are no formaldehyde-releasing reactive resins; the substrate is characterised by NRC of at least 0.80.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composition for concrete protective coating and can be used in protecting freshly laid concrete of roads and aerodromes from dehydration, as well as in hydraulic engineering and monolithic building construction. The composition for concrete protective coating contains latex, a paraffin component, C13 fatty acid, an alkaline component, a surfactant - OP-7 or OP-10, a thickener and water. The alkaline component is selected from triethanol amine and the paraffin component is paraffin wax, with the following ratio of components, wt %: latex 2-25, paraffin wax 3-25, C13 fatty acid 0.5-3,0, triethanol amine 0.3-5.0, said surfactant 0.1-0.5, thickener 0.1-0.5, water - the balance.

SUBSTANCE: method involves securing vertical rods in load-bearing layer, arranging zigzag heating wires connected with power source on load-bearing layer; connecting heating wires to vertical rods and applying coating material on load-bearing layer. Coating material is concrete of the following composition (% by weight): low-molecular oligodiene - 8-11; sulfur - 3-6.5; thiuram - 0.3-0.7; zinc oxide - 1.5 - 5.0; calcium oxide - 0.3-0.6; ash from heat power plant - 7-10; remainder - quartz sand. Uninsulated heating wire is used as coating layer reinforcement. Rod height corresponds to coating layer thickness. Electric power is supplied from power source for 55-56 min to obtain coating layer temperature of 85-95°C and then for 180-200 min to maintain 115-125° temperature thereof. Rate of temperature change may not exceed 1°C per minute.

EFFECT: reduced power inputs along with increased coating strength.

FIELD: building materials.

SUBSTANCE: composition for preparing heat-insulating materials comprises unfibered waste in textile and weaving manufacture as a fibrous component and/or waste in manufacture of nonweaven materials with unoriented fiber structure characterizing by average length 18-60 mm and average diameter 6-12 mm. As a binding agent the composition comprises 3-9% solutions of polystyrene foam and/or polystyrene waste in organic solvents, and ammonium bromide as an antipyrene in the following content of components, wt.-%: indicated binding agent, 14.5-28.3; indicated fibrous component, 66.0-82.1; ammonium bromide, 3.4-5.7. Heat-insulating material prepared on the proposed composition base shows the following properties: average density is 150-200 kg/m3, heat conductivity is 0.022-0.025 Wt/(m x K), bending strength limit is 0.2-0.4 MPa, rupture strength limit is 0.24-0.36 MPa, strength at 10% of deformation is 0.020-0.054 MPa. The composition shows biological stability and difficulty combustibility. Invention provides decreasing the coefficient of heat conductivity, cost of material and retaining its physical-mechanical indices. Invention can be used in preparing heat-insulating materials used in building industrial and municipal buildings and in rural building also.

FIELD: building material industry, particularly plastic material production and for heat-insulation and structural material manufacturing.

SUBSTANCE: mix comprises filler, grinded thermoplastic waste material, namely polyethylene terephthalate and polyethylene waste, as well as mineral component. The filler is burnt quartz sand. The mineral component is chalk and fine silicon oxide. All above components are taken in the following amounts (% by weight): burnt quartz sand - 30-40, polyethylene terephthalate waste - 60-50, polyethylene waste - 5.0-10, chalk - 2.5-3.5, fine silicon oxide - 2.5-2.0. Thermoplastic waste material used for mix production is preliminarily grinded along with thermomechanical treatment thereof in the presence of chalk and then is atomized in the presence of fine silicon oxide.

EFFECT: increased flexural strength and impact elasticity, as well as decreased water absorption capacity of article formed of above mix.
