SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of plastics, coatings or laminates. Method of treating surface of particles of an inorganic pigment involves obtaining an aqueous suspension of particles of an inorganic pigment. In a separate container inorganic compounds are precipitated from an aqueous solution by mixing at least two components in aqueous solution and with proper control of value of pH and/or temperature. Suspension of precipitation product is formed, which is then added to aqueous suspension of particles of inorganic pigment. Precipitation product consists of agglomerates of fine primary particles and/or separate crystals. Precipitated inorganic compounds are oxide or sulphate, for example an oxide of silicon, aluminium, zirconium or titanium or mixtures thereof.

EFFECT: invention increases covering capacity of inorganic pigments, their resistance to ageing, opacity, brightness and reducing power.

SUBSTANCE: one side of paper-based substrate is coated with the first dyeing composition to provide the degree of whiteness L* with the value of L1. The second dyeing composition is applied to the opposite side of the substrate having the degree of whiteness L* with the value of L2. A colored product is obtained, characterised by the degree of whiteness L* with a value of L3 for the first coated side. The second coated side of the product has a degree of whiteness L* with a value of L4. Thus L1 is not more than 8 points higher than L3, and L2 is at least 30 points higher than L4. The degree of whiteness L* is determined using the colour characteristics CIE L* a* b*, a clarifier D 65, and at the observation angle of 10C. In this method, the penetration of dyeing substances of the dyeing composition is adjusted so that the minimal impact is achieved on the degree of whiteness of the coating of white or light colour on the opposite side of coloured paper.

SUBSTANCE: method of production of paper pulp for making filled kinds of paper with use of calcium carbonate as the filler comprises preparing suspensions of milled cellulose and calcium carbonate, adding to them of the predetermined amounts of the modifying agent in the form of nano powders of oxide or hydroxide of aluminium or their mixtures, mixing the dispersions to obtain a fibrous mass, and adding to it of the gluing component and the auxiliary agent to obtain the paper pulp. The invention also relates to a paper obtained with this method, and paper comprising the filler composition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of hydrophilic fibrous composite materials for medical purposes, having bactericidal, hemostatic and anesthetic effect. Biologically active fiber sheeting is made in the form of fibrous base that contains cellulose, viscose fiber and a binder; the base is coated with a material containing additives in the immobilised form. The material has a weight of 75-90 g/m2, the weight of the coating is 35-50% relative to the weight of the fibrous weight. As a binder in the base a polyamine-poliamidepichlorohydrin resin is used. The coating is made on the basis of a cationic polysaccharide of natural origin. At that the additive is a blood-coagulation factor IV, antifibrinolytics, anesthetic, antimicrobial and plastifying agents.

A method of obtaining calcium carbonate with a surface subjected to reaction processing in water medium includes a) supply of at least one type of ground natural calcium carbonate (GNCC); b) supply of at least one water-soluble acid; c) supply of gaseous CO2; d) contact of the said GNCC with the said acid and CO2. The said acid of stage b) has pKa higher than 2.5 and lower or equal to 7, measured at 20C, connected with ionisation of the first available hydrogen, and respective anion, formed with a loss of the said first available hydrogen, capable of forming water-soluble calcium salts. The salt anion is capable of forming water-insoluble calcium salts, with cation of the said water-soluble salt being selected from the group, consisting of potassium, sodium, lithium and their mixtures. The anion of the said water-soluble salt is selected from the group, consisting of phosphate, dihydrophosphate, monohydrophosphate, oxalate, silicate, their mixtures and hydrates.
