Microstrip bandpass filter comprises dielectric substrate, on one side of which grounded base is applied, and on second are electromagnetically coupled strip conductors are applied: displaced relative to each other elongated wide sections of strip conductors, grounded to base on free ends side, with opposite are connected to each other by means of strip conductors elongated sections, on inner side are connected with elongated narrow strip conductors sections, double-bent at right angle, wherein, along their perimeters, inside of each folded U-shaped sections of strip conductors are arranged, grounded to base on free ends side, on outer side connected with orthogonally arranged elongated wide sections of strip conductors, which are filter ports.

EFFECT: invention provides expansion of operating bandwidth and high frequency rejection band, as well as selective properties improving.

SUBSTANCE: microstrip matched load, consisting of series-connected sections of a microstrip transmission line, comprises at least seven alternating sections of a microstrip transmission line with different surface resistance, the outermost of which are sections with low surface resistance, and at least two pairs of open open-circuit stubs, arranged symmetrically at different sides of the microstrip line, each being in the form of two series-connected sections of a microstrip transmission line with high and low surface resistance. Absorption properties of the matched load are determined by a set of both absorption properties of sections of the microstrip line and stubs with high surface resistance and the topology of the structure. The number of sections of strip lines, the topology thereof and electrical parameters are selected such that, in a selected frequency range, the values of standing wave and transmission coefficients are less than given values.

SUBSTANCE: measurement of direct losses of ferrite circulators is performed at a high power level by supplying to the input of the first channel of the ferrite circulator a microwave signal the value of which is chosen as equal to 0.25÷0.33 of the operating power level; the second channel of the ferrite circulator is short-circuited, and the direct loss value is measured by the ratio of power in the third and the first channels of the ferrite circulator, which is divided in half.

EFFECT: enlarging functional capabilities by assessment of growth of direct losses of ferrite instruments at high power levels.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio electronics and measurement equipment and may be used for specified weakening of a microwave signal of high capacity in a wide band of working frequencies. The microwave attenuator comprises a dielectric substrate 1, three film resistors 2, 4 and 5, connected to each other in the form of a symmetrical T-shaped structure, in which values of extreme resistors 2 and 5 are equal to each other, and the value of the middle resistor 4 is selected on the basis of the condition of matching mode maintenance. At the same time film resistors 2, 4 and 5 are made in the form of a resistive film applied on one side of the dielectric substrate, on the other side of which there is a metallised base applied. In the field of high frequencies the film resistors 2, 4 and 5 represent sections of microstrip transmission lines of identical length with longitudinal dissipative losses, besides, extreme film resistors 2 and 5 of the symmetrical T-shaped structure are connected to each other with a section of a microstrip transmission line without dissipative losses 3, length of which is equal to length of extreme film resistors 2 and 5 and to the middle of which one end of the middle film resistor 4 is connected, the other end of which is connected with the metallised base.

EFFECT: exceeded permissible capacity of an input microwave signal in a band of working frequencies.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measurement equipment, electric engineering, radio engineering, communication and may be used in the structure of various interfaces, measurement devices, quick-acting analogue-digital (ADC) and digital-analogue (DAC) converters. The achievement of high-quality parameters is provided in a wide range of variation of transmission ratios AT (K0), which is determined by the ratio K0=R6/(R6+R3). This is one of the features of the proposed device, which expands areas of its application, for instance, in broadband digitally controlled attenuators, R-2R voltage dividers of quick-acting analogue-digital converters, etc. A broadband attenuator with a controlled transmission ratio comprises an input (1) and an output (2) of the device, between which the first (3) resistor is connected, a source of reference voltage (4), connected by AC between a common bus (5) and the input of the device (1), the second resistor (6), connected by AC between the output of the device (2) and the common bus (5), a capacitor of a load circuit (7), connected by AC between the output of the device (2) and the common bus (5), a balancing capacitor (8). The output of the device (2) is connected by AC with an input of a non-inverting voltage amplifier (9), between the output of the non-inverting voltage amplifier (9) and the output of the device (2) the balancing capacitor (8) is switched.

EFFECT: considerable expansion of the range of working frequencies of the device and its increased efficiency during operation with pulse signals of high amplitude.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method for microwave signal polarization conversion involves passage of right- and left-hand circularly polarized microwave signals and linearly polarized microwave signal having arbitrary position of polarization plane through waveguide ferrite section with double-pole cross control magnetic field. This field is built up by two-phase winding carrying dc currents in each coil, spatial axis of coils of one phase winding being perpendicular to that of coils of other phase winding. Then right- and left-hand circularly polarized microwave signals and linearly polarized microwave signal with arbitrary position of polarization plane are converted into linearly polarized microwave signal with desired position of polarization plane. Proposed method is characterized in that current value is varied during conversion of microwave signal polarization in one phase winding in proportion to sine of angle between 0 and 180 deg. simultaneously with variation of current value in other phase winding in proportion to cosine of same angle at similar maximal values of these currents and, irrespective of this fact, currents through both phase windings are relatively changed by same value in changing type of polarization of right- and left-hand circularly polarized microwave signals and linearly polarized microwave signal.

EFFECT: reduced loss of microwave signal due to reduced polarization loss.
