SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, namely to a cooling unit for a power plant of a vessel. Power plant cooling unit includes upper part (22) with part upper end (100), which passes through channel (P1) and is formed between first external bottom (11) and second inner bottom (12) of vessel (10). Part upper end (100) can turn in rolling bearings (300) and is sealed by means of gland (200) relative to vessel (10). Cooling unit comprises system of air ducts (400, 410, 500, 510) for cooling air, at least one fan (600) and at least one cooling device (700). Gland (200) includes upper gland (210) and lower gland (220), which are located along the vertical line at a distance (H1) from each other. Part upper end (100) includes holes (O1). First air duct (400) is directed into space (800) between upper gland (210) and lower gland (220) and then through holes (O1) in part upper end (100) to internal space of post (21) or reverse air flow (L2).

EFFECT: better performance characteristics of cooling unit.

Rudder can turn at the chamber rear end. Propulsive unit is arranged to make shaft line (SL) form the vertical inclination angle (α) of 1-8 degrees to water line (WL) so that chamber front end is located below than chamber rear end relative to waterline (WL).

This drive comprises partially immersed screw, rotary stern tube with ball part, thrust case, spherical pivots control hydraulic cylinders arranged in stern tube. Drive shaft, countershaft and drive shaft are coupled with screws. Assembly of drive hydraulic cylinders fastening to vessel transom comprises control hydraulic cylinder with body equipped with thrust cup for two hemispheres. Hydraulic cylinder controls the drive and comprises body to house the cylinder, hoses and valves.

Crinoline deck has opening closed by detachable platform for propulsive-steering gear to be secured thereat. SUBSTANCE: method of manufacturing water vessel with improved characteristics of penetration into ice includes hull (1) with the first end (2) and the second end (3), which is provided with engine assembly creating main vessel propellent traction while vessel is moving with any end being forward. Engine assembly comprises at least three engine devices of which at least majority is antitorque propeller rotor devices (4) and located on at least two different distances from the second end (3) of vessel so that when the vessel is moving in ice or in ice formations with its second end (3) being forward, propeller rotor with one or more engine devices installed near the second end (3) of the vessel is positioned so that it breaks ice. Propeller rotor with one or more engine devices located further from the second end (3) of the vessel is positioned so that it moves broken ice or pieces of ice further from ice formations. Water vessel with improved characteristics of penetration into ice includes engine assembly with at least three engine devices of which at least majority is antitorque propeller rotor devices (4) and which are located on at least two different distances from the second end (3) of vessel so that when the vessel is moving in ice or in ice formations with its second end (3) being forward, propeller rotor with one or more engine devices installed near the second end (3) of the vessel is positioned so that it breaks ice.

EFFECT: vessel is capable to effectively break ice and move in heavy ice conditions.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to outboard propulsion-steering complexes of watercrafts, mainly hydroplanes and amphibians. Proposed complex consists of power drive and full-rotary column with water propeller arranged in guide nozzle to move out, into transport position, and in. Full-rotary pivot-type column comprises upper angular reduction gear and lower angular reduction gear. Propulsion-steering complex is provided with mechanism transmitting rotation from power drive to water propeller and consisting of driven shaft and toothed coupling. Aforesaid mechanism consists of two parts, i.e. drive and driven. Mechanism drive part accommodates toothed coupling drive part, while driven part of the mechanism accommodates toothed coupling driven part. Propulsion-steering is furnished with fairing arranged on watercraft stern.

Rudder propeller is an electrically driven propulsion device of the floating object and includes screw blades, bladed propeller, and synchronous motor with constant magnets on the rotor. Synchronous motor stator can be rotated about vertical axis by means of other shaftless synchronous motors thus fixing the required position.

EFFECT: eliminating mechanical transmitting links, reducing consumption of materials, and improving manoeuvrability of movement and economy of useful energy conversion.

FIELD: shipbuilding; multi-purpose dry cargo vessels for carrying cargoes in water areas covered with ice and not covered with ice.

SUBSTANCE: proposed multi-purpose dry cargo vessel has hull with fore and aft extremities and sides provided with ice strengthening members. Hull bottom in aft extremity has inclined surface. Extent of cargo holds is no less than half length of vessel and maximum breadth is no less than ¾ of ship's extreme breadth. Main propulsion plant with propulsor is swivel in construction. Slewing axis of main propulsion plant is deflected at angle α from vertical in CL or in plane parallel to CL. Axis of thrust vector is also inclined at angle α from normal relative to slewing axis of main propulsion plant. Angle satisfies condition 0<α≤β/2, where β is angle whose magnitude is equal to magnitude of average angle of inclination of ship's bottom surface in aft extremity relative to ship's waterplane on inclined section of bottom located below level of point of intersection of main propulsion plant slewing axis with propulsor thrust vector axis.

The housing contains the upper and lower parts and is fixed at the hull with its upper part that can be rotated. The shaft is installed inside the housing so that it can be rotated in radial and axial bearings; it has the central axis and outer end in the lower part of the housing. The propeller is fixed at the haft outer end inside the first end in the lower part of the housing; it is rotated by the shaft. The circular body is fixed rigidly in the housing; it covers outer perimeter of the propeller and channel (45) for water passing through the circular body. The central axis of the shaft forms the central axis of the circular body. The inverted electric engine is comprised of inverted rotor and stator. Second propeller screw rotates in direction opposite to the first propeller screw. AC generator is driven by rotating power aggregate and has electric connection to the AC motor. Rotation speed of the first propeller screw is 95-150% of rotation speed of the first propeller screw. AC motor and AC generator have the same electric frequency, AC generator has 2 to 40 poles, and AC motor has 2 to 40 poles. AC generator to AC motor pole number ratio is 0.05 to 20.

SUBSTANCE: shipboard propulsive shaft-generator plant includes a drive shaft motor, a gear box, a shaft generator, buses, a frequency converter, three-phase stator windings, diodes, control circuits and rectifier bridges. The shaft generator through the frequency converter, a throttle, an LC filter, the first current sensor, the first voltage sensor and the first automatic circuit breaker is connected to buses of shipboard electrical consumers. Besides, an auxiliary generator mechanically attached to an auxiliary motor is connected to buses of shipboard electrical consumers by means of the second automatic circuit breaker. The frequency converter has a mode setting device, the first and the second control units, a reversible inverter and a capacitor-type accumulator of a DC link. As a shaft generator, a valve-inductor reversible shaft generator is used, to which an exciter is connected, which is connected with its input to the first output of the second control unit. Outputs of the first and the second three-phase stator windings of the shaft generator are connected to the frequency converter. Two rectifier three-phase bridges are installed in the frequency converter. A controlled shunting switch with conductivity directed opposite to diode conductivity is connected to each diode of each bridge. Control circuits of switches are connected to the second control unit. Rectifier bridges are connected to the capacitor-type accumulator.

EFFECT: enlargement of a range of devices, energy efficiency and economy of a shipboard shaft-generator plant.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship electric power plants with shaft generators and semiconductor frequency converter. Ship shaft generator plant comprises the main engine, disengaging coupling, shaft line, screw propeller, shaft generator, electric circuit, the first and second current sensors, input throttle, the frequency converter, the output throttle, LC-filter, the first and second circuit breakers, bus of ship electrical loads, an additional generator mechanically connected with an additional engine, capacitor accumulator of DC link with voltage sensor. Main engine, shaft generator and screw propeller are mounted on the shaft line coaxially. The rotor of shaft generator is mounted to the end of the shaft line, connected to the screw propeller. On the shaft of the main engine there is also the first shaft position sensor, and on the shaft line from the side of the screw propeller the second shaft position sensor is mounted in addition. Both shaft position sensors are connected to the control unit of torsional oscillations, which output is connected to the signal input of the mode selector.

EFFECT: increase in reliability and increase in time between overhauls is achieved by reducing the dynamic loads on the main engine and reduction of fatigue phenomena in the material of the shaft line.

SUBSTANCE: proposed electric power generator plant has the main heat engine, disconnecting sleeve, extra heat engine connected with extra generator, main buses and buses of ship power consuming hardware. Plant control system comprises automatic circuit breakers, current and voltage transducers, first frequency controlled and reversible transducer incorporating controlled rectifier and inverter, DC link capacitor accumulator and local control system. Extra propulsion motor is connected to screw propeller and second circular propulsion motor with built-in second screw propeller. Besides, it includes second frequency transducer, voltage transducer and four power circuits.

EFFECT: decreased weight and overall dimensions, higher efficiency and reliability.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building and may be used in screw propellers and active control means. Ring propulsor comprises motor, ring adapter and ring rotor that make a water-way duct and screw propeller. Screw propeller blade roots are fitted at ring rotor while blade tips are located in the area of water-way duct and fastened together. Blade tips are fastened together and roots are fitted in rotor via damping shims.

EFFECT: decreased vibration and noise pollution, longer life of propeller screw.
