Detergent composition with decyl and coco glucosides

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to cosmetology and hygiene and provides a foaming detergent composition which contains: a) surfactants consisting of decyl glucoside and coco glucoside, where the decyl glucoside is present in an amount by weight which is 1.8 to 2.2 times the weight of coco glucoside, and b) water, where the amount of decyl glucoside is 10 to 30 wt % of the composition, wherein the composition is free of anionic surfactants.

EFFECT: invention enables to produce a detergent composition having foaming properties in the absence of an anionic surfactant that are equally effective as with a composition with an anionic surfactant.

The level of technology

For consumers that use liquid detergent compositions, such as shower gels, the compositions for body wash or liquid hand soap, foaming detergent composition during use is desirable. Also desirable to ensure a sufficient amount of foam that is stable for a desired amount of time during use. Also there is a need to ensure a creamy texture of the foam. The volume of foam and Krivorozhstal foam usually compete with each other. When one parameter increases, the other usually decreases. It is advisable to provide the detergent composition with the desired amount of foam and the desired degree of remoortel.

Summary of the invention

Detergent composition comprising a surfactant containing disillusioned and cocoglucoside where disillusioned is present in amounts by weight that is 1.5 to 2.5 times the mass of cocoglucoside and water. The presence of a number of desillusioned, about 2 times the mass of cocoglucoside, gives foaming characteristics, comparable with some detergent compositions with anionic surfactants.

Detailed description

As used herein, ranges are used as the acronym episunagoge and any value, which is in this range. Any value within the range can be selected as the final value of the range. In addition, all literature references cited in this document, thus, are included as references in their entirety. In case of conflict, the definitions of the present description and definitions references cited dominates the present description.

If not specifically stated otherwise, all percentages and quantities specified herein and elsewhere in the description, should be understood to refer to mass percent. Given the number relate to the material.

As a rule, to make the foaming characteristics of the compositions used anionic surfactants. Other types of surfactants are not able to create the same or comparable quality foam, and as anionic surfactants. Discovered that the combination of decyl - and cocoglucoside can provide the foaming, which is comparable to anionic surfactants. In certain embodiments, the anionic surfactant can be removed from the composition, but the composition may still have the desired level of foaming.

Detergent composition, which contains surface-activeelement, containing disillusioned and cocoglucoside, where the number of desillusioned exceeds by weight the amount of cocoglucoside 1.5-2.5, 1.8 to 2.2 or 1.9-2.1 times. In certain embodiments, the number of desillusioned about 2 times higher than the number of cocoglucoside.

Disillusioned and cocoglucoside can be included in the composition in any amount to the extent that it remains a mass. In certain embodiments, the number of desillusioned is 1-30% wt., 1-20 wt.%, or 10-20% of the mass. by weight of the composition. In certain embodiments, the number of desillusioned is 20, 15 or 10 wt%. In certain embodiments, the number of cocoglucoside is 0.5-20 wt.%, 0.5 to 10 wt%. or 5-10% of the mass. by weight of the composition. In certain embodiments, the number of cocoglucoside is 10, 7.5 or 5% of the mass.

Surface-active substances on the basis of decyl - and cocoglucoside can be obtained from Cognis Corporation. Cocoglucoside sold as Plantacare™ 818 UP. Disillusioned sold as Plantaren™ 2000 N UP.

In certain embodiments, the cleaning composition may contain a thickening agent. Examples of the thickener include, but are not limited to, xanthan resin, brandy mannan, Galanova gum, carrageenan, carboxymethylcellulose, guar gum, Rusanova with�Ola, furcellaran resin, cellulose, polysaccharides, pectin, alginate and arabinogalactan. In one of the embodiments, the thickener is a xanthan resin. In another embodiment of the thickener is a cognac mannan. In certain embodiments, the thickener is present in an amount of 0.1-5% wt., 0.25 to 2 wt.%, 0,75-1,5% of the mass. or 1-1,25% wt., by itself or in combination.

The cleaning composition comprises water. Water may be present in any desired amount from the washing composition to form a typical detergent compositions, such as shower gel, the composition for body wash, liquid hand soap or spanevello hand soap.

The cleaning composition may contain additional surfactants. In certain embodiments, a surfactant may mainly consist of decyl - and cocoglucoside or surfactants may consist of decyl - and cocoglucoside. In certain embodiments, the total amount of surfactant can range 1-45% by weight. by weight of the composition.

In addition, the detergent composition may contain any other materials that may be incorporated into the detergent composition. Examples of additional surfactants and other materials can be found in �publikacii of United States patent No. 2007/0048235, the pH of the composition can be adjusted using citric acid.

In the examples below, the compositions contain a combination of perfume additives Dermosoft™ 700B and the filtrate Leucidal™ Leuconostoc/enzyme from the root of the radish as a preservative. These quantities refer to the weight of the material as it comes. Perfume additive Dermosoft™ 700B may be included in an amount of 0.05-1 or 0.3-1% of the mass. by weight of the composition (as supplied). The filtrate Leucidal™ Leuconostoc/enzyme from the root of the radish can be included in an amount of 0.2-2% wt. by weight of the composition (as supplied). In one embodiment, the implementation of a perfume additive Dermosoft™ 700B is present in amounts of about 0.3% of the mass. (as delivered) by weight of the composition, and the filtrate from Leucidal™ Leuconostoc/enzyme from the root of the radish is present in amount of about 1.25% by weight. (as delivered) by weight of the composition. This combination provides preservative protection against gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria, mold, yeast and fungi. The filtrate Leucidal™ Leuconostoc/enzyme from the root of the radish is available from Active Concepts LLC, and Dermosoft™ 700B is available from Dr. Straetmans Chemische Produkte GmbH.

In accordance with MSDS for Dermosoft™ 700B material represents about 40% of the mass. partially neutralized 4 levulinate acid in glycerin and water. To�when the composition is used as 0.05-1% wt. in composition, the active amount of 4-levulinate acid is 0.02 to 0.4 by weight.

In other embodiments, Dermosoft™ 700B can be used by itself, the filtrate Leucidal™ Leuconostoc/enzyme from the root of the radish can be used by itself, or other preservatives can be used alone or in conjunction with these preservatives.

In another embodiment of the composition can be zaputatsa by including opacifier, such as sunflower oil or cloud emulsions Euperlan™ Green from Cognis (55-65% water, 15-25% of laurelwood and 15-25% of sterilitate). The opacifier may be present in amounts of 1-5 wt%. by weight of the composition. In certain embodiments, the sunflower oil is present at 1-5 or 2-4% of the mass. by weight of the composition. In certain embodiments, the cleaning composition may contain a chelating agent. Examples of chelating agent include, but are not limited to, sodium phytate and tetranitro EDTA. In certain embodiments, x�laterbuy agent is present in an amount of 0.001-3% wt., 0,01-1,5% of the mass. or 0.05 to 1.0 wt%. by weight of the composition.

In certain embodiments, the materials of the composition can be obtained from natural sources that are renewable. This gives an arrangement that works comparable with some detergent compositions based on anionic surfactants, but also made from the sources of raw materials that are natural and come from renewable sources.

The cleaning composition may be prepared in such a way that it was in the form of a gel, the composition for body wash, liquid hand soap or spanevello hand soap.

In some embodiments, the pH of the composition is 2-9. In one embodiment, the implementation of the pH of the composition is 3-7. In other embodiments, the pH of the composition is 4-6. In another embodiment of the pH of the composition is 6-8. pH is measured at 25°C.

In some embodiments, the composition has a viscosity according to Brookfield 1-25000 MPa.sec (CPS). In one embodiment, the implementation of a viscosity of less than 15,000 MPa.sec (CPS). In other embodiments, the viscosity is 5000-12000 MPa.sec (CPS). The viscosity measured on the Brookfield DVII viscometer with spindle 4 at 10 rpm at 25°C. In another embodiment of the viscosity sostavljaet-100 MPa.sec (CPS) using spindle 3 at 100 rpm at 25°C.

Compositions can be obtained using conventional mixing technology, well-known specialists in the field of mixing the ingredients.

Specific implementation options

The examples are merely illustrative and do not limit in any way the scope of the present invention, as it is stated in the description and the claims. In the following examples, all ingredients are derived from renewable natural source.

The following examples and comparative examples can be obtained by mixing the ingredients. Amounts are given in % of the mass. The water is added into the container, equipped with a Central turbine agitator. Citric acid (50% solution) was added to water and stirred to homogeneity. Xanthan resin is slowly added to the aqueous solution with stirring at high speed. After all xanthan gum is uniformly dispersed and the solution becomes transparent, disillusioned slowly added to the load at medium speed until homogeneous. Cocoglucoside slowly add to download at a medium speed and mix to homogeneity. Glycerin, salt, preservatives and enhancers of filling on the skin (if necessary) add to the download of the sequential mixing to obtain homogeneity of the components. pH and viscosity are measured and regulated, e�if necessary.

The following samples are prepared for testing by the expert group. Composition compared to the composition for body wash with anionic surfactants, available as compositions for body wash Pomegranate and Mango Softsoap™ from Colgate-Palmolive. This comparative composition represents approximately 13.7% of sodium sulfate and lauryl simple ester (70% active substance), about 5.7% of cocamidopropylbetaine, about 1% xanthan resin, wherein the balance is water, preservative, fragrance and dye.

The compositions are assessed by an expert group of 9 people. Each expert group will evaluate each product using a standardized methodology and an assessment scale of 0-15. 0 represents the absence/low value, and 15 represents a high value. The group of experts evaluates products according to sensory characteristics, including: the appearance of the product, evaluation of foam on the hair on the head and hands.

For visual assessment, the expert group distributes each of the investigated product from its original packaging with the use of 3-second continuous extrusion on a transparent film. Then the expert group evaluates the investigational products on the integrity of the form immediately and after 1 minute.

There are two phases of assessment soaping - shampooing the hair on the head and soap on hand. Experts from the group assess attributes such as the amount of foam on the hair on the head, durability of foam and the amount of foam into hands. For proce�ur assessment on the hair on the head of the expert group measures 3.0 g ±0.1 g on a pallet. The expert group fully immerses hair in water at 33 ±1°C (92 ±2°F) for 5 seconds and then releases the head from the water. Then the expert from the group gets the product from the pallet onto the hair on his head, fluffing the hair on his head 10 times, and then evaluates the attributes of soaping. For assessment procedures on the hand, the expert from the band measures 2.0 g ± 0.1 g on a pallet. The expert group wets both hands under running water at 33 ±1°C (92 ±2°F) for 5 seconds, then distributes the investigated product from the tray on nonprincipal hand and adds 2.5 ml ±0.1 ml of water. Then the expert group uses a careful circular motion, committing 10 turnovers on hand to generate lather, and then evaluates the attributes of soaping.

Carry out analysis of variance (ANOVA) in the estimates of experts from the group regarding the attributes of the product; and using a model of the inside of the subject. HSD (a true standard of significance) the Tukey test is used to evaluate the significant differences between the attributes (p<0,10; two-sided). The results from the panel of experts listed below.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an oral care composition and method of making thereof. An oral care composition comprising a film in an amount of 0.1 wt % to 5.0 wt %, entrained in a carrier, wherein the film comprises a non-ionic surfactant polysorbate 80 in an amount from 10.5 wt % of the film to 20 wt % of the film and a solid calcium peroxide in the amount of 20% to 65% of the film weight. The film may further comprise a therapeutic active in the amount of 0.01 to 30 wt % of the film. The method of making an oral care composition being a dental care product, comprises as follows: (a) providing the carrier; (b) adding lamellar fragments of the film comprising polysorbate, in an amount of from 10.5 wt % of the film to 20 wt % of the film and a solid ingredient comprising calcium peroxide in an amount of from 20 wt % of the film to 65 wt % of the film; and (c) homogenizing the mixture, whereas the film is present in the amount of 0.1 wt % to 5.0 wt % of the of the total weigh of the composition.

EFFECT: higher active material loading in the film formula provides benefits, including reduced amount of film needed in a product, which is at the same time delivering improved efficacy with lower (0,1-5,0 wt %) loading of the film in the dental care composition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry, therapeutic-prophylactic preparation for tooth and oral cavity care, and can be applied for prevention and complex treatment of inflammatory diseases of gums, parodentium, stomatitis or elimination of gingival hemorrhage. Therapeutic-prophylactic toothpaste includes glycerin, laurylglycoside, sorbitol, xylite, aerosol, calcium hydrogen phosphate, xanthane resin, sodium benzoate, CO2-extracts of thyme, sage, rosemary, white clay, green clay, red clay and water with specified content of components. For CO2-extracts of thyme, sage and rosemary fulfilled is ratio Wt/Ws/Wr=(0.40-0.50)/(0.25-0.35)/0.20-0.25), where Wt, Ws, Wr are weight parts of respectively CO2-extracts of thyme, sage and rosemary, with particles of green, white and red loam having sizes in interval 0.1-100 mcm and being obtained from clay, dried at 80-400°C.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increased efficiency of prevention and treatment of inflammatory diseases of oral cavity, parodentium, in particular gingivitis, periodontitis, as well as increase of cleaning ability of toothpaste with simultaneous reduction of abrasive influence on tooth enamel; and technical result consists in extension of arsenal or toothpastes of complex action, which render healing and preventive action on organs and tissues of oral cavity.

What is presented is using an oral care composition in the form of a mouthwash containing a fluoride ion source and a ternary polymer system consisting of xanthane gum, carboxymethyl cellulose and copovidone for dental erosion and/or wear control. SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a two-phase mouth wash liquid and a method for use thereof. The disclosed two-phase mouth wash liquid contains a hydrophilic phase, a hydrophobic phase, a hydrotrope and a preservative, wherein the preservative contains (i) sodium benzoate and (ii) potassium sorbate and/or methylisothiazolinone (MIT), and the hydrotrope component contains glycerine and/or propylene glycol. The mouth wash liquid contains (a) 0.05-0.11 wt % sodium benzoate and (b) 0.05-0.2 wt % potassium sorbate and/or 0.0005-0.01 wt % MIT. The hydrophilic phase of the mouth wash liquid can additionally contain cetylpyridinium chloride in amount of 0.01-0.1 wt %, wherein the disclosed method of improving oral health includes using an effective amount of said liquid in the mouth of a subject to reduce the level of cariogenic bacteria.
