SUBSTANCE: invention relates to "bite-sized" nutritional products and such products usage methods. One proposes a "bite-sized" carbohydrate-based product including a thick mass section containing a carbohydrate source having the ratio of glucogenic to fruitogenic carbohydrates equal to from nearly 1.5 to nearly 2.5 with at least 60% of the product energy content, provided for by such carbohydrates source, and a filling encapsulated into a shell of the thick mass section where sodium is contained in an amount of nearly 200 mg - nearly 400 mg per 100 g of the product and where the filling is in the form chosen from the group consisting of powder, paste, puree, jelly, cream, liquid or semi-liquid condition and their combinations. The invention provides for a "bite-sized" nutritional product containing thick mass on a protein or carbohydrate base containing a semi-liquid filling. The semi-liquid filling may be represented, for instance, by jelly, jam or puree containing fruit, peanut butter, chocolate etc. The nutritional products may additionally include coatings containing tasty and nutritional components such as chocolate, fruit pieces, crispy grain components, nuts and other similar components. Such "bite-sized" products may be specially developed and provided to an athlete for individual provision with proteins and carbohydrates with dosage regulation.

EFFECT: additionally, such "bite-sized" nutritional products may be specially intended for people as a snack with perfect taste properties and those beneficial for health.

The technical field to which the invention relates

The present disclosure generally relates to compositions and to methods of providing nutrition in a convenient and tasty way. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to nutritional products "one bite" with stuffing and methods of their use as a nutritious snack before, during and/or after exercise.

The level of technology

Currently in market there are many types of nutritional compositions. On the basis of special ingredients, nutrient composition, specific nutritional compositions may be addressed to certain types of consumers, such as young, elderly, athletic, etc. for Example, definitely established that the ingestion of carbohydrates during or before exercise improves endurance performance during prolonged exercise, as the exercise of a shorter duration. The padding can be selected from the group consisting of jams, jellies, pastes, creams, purees, preserves, caramel, chocolate, yogurt, or combinations thereof. In one embodiment the filling provides from about 10 wt.% to about 20 wt.% by weight of the nutritional product. In one embodiment the filling provides about 15 wt.% by weight of the nutritional product.

In one embodiment the filling, except the�about, includes a component selected from the group consisting of solid particles of the active ingredient, flavor, or combinations thereof. The solid particles can be selected from the group consisting of slices of walnut, peanut flour, pieces of fruit, oats, crispy cereal components, crumbs, cereals, breading, or combinations thereof. In one embodiment the nutritional product, in addition, includes fat, fiber and protein.

The present disclosure generally relates to nutritional products and methods for providing power to the athlete before, during and/or after exercise. For example, the products "one bite" of protein or carbohydrate base can be specifically designed and provided to the athlete to supply individualized protein/energy and regulation of the portions prior to, during and/or after exercise. The method involves raw materials freezing, defrosting, milling and heat treatment. One takes semi-fat or low-fat pork obtained from animals having undergone auto-haemorrhagic stroke or pork hearts or pork aortae or beef hearts or beef aortae or any their combinations; one performs freezing until the temperature in the raw material bulk is equal to minus 15 - minus 30°C, storing at a temperature of minus 15 - minus 30°C during 6-24 months. SUBSTANCE: method for production of a sugar-containing product envisages dispersion of an aerosol food additive and its application onto a mobile vibrating layer of moist sugar crystals, stirring sugar with the said food additive in the vibration stirrer operational chamber and the resultant product drying. In the vibration stirrer operational chamber complex spatial oscillations of sugar crystals are created with spiral-wise movement trajectories. Prior to application, the food additive, in a dry condition, is dispersed into finely dispersed powder. From the resultant finely dispersed powder one creates a dust-like aerosol by way of the powder injection with pneumatic dosaging onto the vibrating layer of moist sugar crystals. The food additives are represented by a highly intensive sweetener - stevioglycoside with sweetness coefficient equal to 150-400. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. The method envisages washing and preliminary milling of raw material. The produced pulp is heated up to 100°C during 30-60 sec. and pressed. The refuses produced after pressing are treated with hot water with a temperature of 80-90°C, the mixture water duty being 1:2-3. An enzyme is added to the produced solution. The enzyme has cellulasic and hemicellulasic activity. The produced juice is combined with that of primary pressing. The method for production of a product based on cereal crop flakes envisages mixing cereal and dry fruit and berry components with an encapsulating viscous hydrophobic additive, stirring the composite mixture with a hydrophilous binding agent (heated up to 60-100°C) and a sweetener, pressing the ready mixture till initial sheet formation, modification of the initial sheet structure ensuring plasticity by way of compression or stretching, flattening, levelling and cooling of the modified sheet, cutting products of the specified size. According to the invention the product contains (at a ratio of kg/100 kg): oat flakes and/or rye flakes and/or barley flakes and/or wheat flakes - 20-80, hydrophobic component represented by fats of vegetable origin - 3-30, fruit and berry recipe components - 3-50, sweetener - 1-20 and hydrophilous binding agent - 4-30.

EFFECT: method allows to extend storage life of the product based on cereal crops without chemical components utilisation, to preserve nutritive properties, plasticity and to ensure a high level of the product organoleptic properties.
