The invention relates to automation systems using the self-radiation of objects and can be used to create instruments, serving to prevent the vehicle collision when overtaking.

The known method and the device implements performing braking of a vehicle when a risk of collision in the process of overtaking vehicle (patent CN 200997184, IPC G08G 1/01, 2006), the device for measuring the vehicle speed and the distance required for safe overtaking (patent GE 4200694, IPC B60K 31/00), and a device for reducing vibrations of the vehicle speed when driving on the road with different variable profile (patent JP 20022137652, IPC B60K 31/00, 2002).

In the prototype solution to the overtaking car is taken when the overtaking vehicle on its lane or with a small exit into oncoming traffic to assess the situation and determine the distance to an oncoming car. Limited visibility when overtaking heavy-duty vehicle or vehicle combination makes it impossible to adopt reliable solutions for overtaking before the start, without going into the oncoming lane and�ora speed creating preconditions for the collision of cars.

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electronically-controllable locking differentials. Differential comprises magnetic coil (50) and control system based on wire harness for logic control of the differential operation; the system comprises a circuit (56). The circuit contains a locking switch (62), which is coupled electrically to the first power supply source and designed to lock power supply of the differential. Double-pole double-throw control relay (72) coupled electrically to the locking switch (62) comprises the first switch (74), the second switch (76) and a coil (78). The second switch (76) is designed to "overjump" the locking switch (62). The circuit is deenergised when power is not supplied to the wire harness and is in standby mode when power is supplied to the wire harness. When the locking switch (62) is activated current passes from the initial point through the circuit in order to activate the relay (72), at that the first switch (74) is closed to excite the differential and the second switch (76) is closed so that current "overjumps" the locking switch (62) and the differential becomes activated.

EFFECT: higher reliability of a device is reached.
