The invention relates to the field of engineering, namely, pads disc brake cars and other vehicles equipped with acoustic alarms on maximum wear.

Analogous to the claimed invention is a pad disc brake comprising a metal frame and fixed to it a friction element, when placed on the frame alarm about the wear of the friction element containing the detector U-shaped and the fastening element of the metal detector frame (see Prospectus-directory TRW Automotive Inc., 2006, printed in Germany, 74.5/0406/P, www.trw-eos.com. c.3.808). The essential features of similar "metal frame, fixed to it a friction element, the device alarm about the wear of the friction element detector U-shaped fastening element for signaling the metal cage" match the essential features of the claimed invention.

The disadvantage of analog is the deterioration of the performance characteristics of the product due to possible displacement of the detector, for example turning it relative to the fastening element, which reduces occurring acoustic phenomena when the detector. Another disadvantage is the complexity of the design of the brake caliper due to the need to provide on the frame pad is a special place for the accommodation of the fastening element (which acts on the surface of the frame), as a result, this place may not be posted nor the pistons of the brake cylinders, or elements of bracket brake caliper.

The prototype of the claimed invention is a pad disc brake comprising a metal frame and fixed to it a friction element, when placed on the frame alarm about the wear of the friction element includes a U-shaped detector with a hole made in the form of a hexagon, and a fastening element for signaling to the metal frame (see patent RU 2136982, IPC F16D 66/02, 1999). The essential features of the prototype metal frame, fixed friction element, the device alarm about the wear of the friction element, U-shaped detector element mounting alerter" match the essential features of the claimed invention.

The disadvantage of the prototype is the deterioration of the operating characteristics of the pads due to the possibility of displacement of the detector (turning) relative to the fastening element, which reduces acoustic effect, as well as the complexity of the design of the caliper because of the need to put in a support block, a frame which has a ledge formed by the fastening element of the indicator.

The task, which is aimed by the invention, is St Ksenia performance of this product by eliminating the possibility of reducing the acoustic effect of the displacement of the signaling device, and to simplify the design of the brake caliper by excluding protrusions on the surface frame mounting in the area of alarm.

To achieve the technical result in the block of the disk brake, comprising a metal frame and fixed to it a friction element, where on a metal frame placed the device alarm about the wear of the friction element includes a U-shaped detector and a fastening element for signaling to the metallic frame, the thickness of the metal frame in the connection area of the detector is from 0.40 to 0.85, the thickness of the metal frame in the zone of fixation on the metal frame of the friction element, the sum of the thickness of the metal frame in the connection area of the detector, the thickness of the detector in the zone of attachment of the detector to the metallic frame and the thickness of the portion of the fastening element, above the detector in the zone of attachment is less or equal to the thickness of a metal frame in the zone of fixation on the metal frame of the friction element.

The essential features of the claimed invention, "the thickness of a metal frame in the connection area of the detector is from 0.40 to 0.85, the thickness of the metal frame in the zone of fixation on the metal frame of the friction element, the sum of the thickness of the metal frame in the connection area of the detector, the thickness of the detector of the area of attachment of the detector to the metallic frame and the thickness of the portion of the fastening element, above the detector in the zone of attachment is less or equal to the thickness of a metal frame in the fastening area of the friction element on the metal frame are different from the characteristics of the prototype.

Friction elements fitted in steel carcass are secured by squeezing of lateral pressure plates while two extreme elements are pressed by carcass guide pressure plates. Friction elements are made of iron-base metal.
