SUBSTANCE: disk brake shoe contains flat metal carcass and friction element fixed on it, herewith, butt surface of metal carcass is made with projection.

EFFECT: reducing area of shoe butt end surface of contact with support elements, whereupon resistance to shoe motion relative to support elements is decreased, as well as possibility of shoe wedging-up is reduced when insignificant deviations of shoe position from brake disk - counterbody plane take place during operation.

The invention relates to the field of engineering, namely the pads of disc brakes of automobiles and other machinery.

Analogous to the claimed invention is a pad disc brake, contains a flat metal frame and fixed to it a friction element (see Prospectus-directory TRW Automotive Inc., 2006, printed in Germany, 74.5/0406/P, www.trw-eos.com.). The essential features of similar flat metal frame, fixed to it a friction element coincide with the essential features of the claimed invention.

The disadvantage of analog is the deterioration of the performance of this product because of the possibility podklinivanija pads in caliper guides in the case of uneven application to the moving block efforts under conditions of mechanical shock loads, strong vibrations, falling debris, and so on, which might result in inefficient frictional interaction between the pads and the brake disk.

The prototype of the claimed invention is a pad disc brake, contains a flat metal frame and fixed to it a friction element (see C. I. Izyumova and other New composite friction materials JSC tier and products from them. Proceedings of the 8th international Symposium on friction products and materials. Aromi-2010. Yaroslavl, 2010, S. 53÷67). Being the major characteristics of a prototype flat metal frame, fixed friction element coincide with the essential features of the claimed invention.

The disadvantage of the prototype is the deterioration of the operating characteristics of the pads because of the possibility podklinivanija pads in the brake caliper guides under conditions of mechanical shock and thermal loads, strong vibrations, falling debris, ice and so on

The task, which is aimed by the invention is the improvement of the operational characteristics of the product by reducing the possibility podklinivanija pads in caliper guides by changing the configuration of the surfaces of the pads in contact with the surfaces of the caliper.

To achieve the technical result in the Shoe disc brakes, containing flat metal frame and fixed to it a friction element, the end surface of the metal frame is made with the tab, or several parts (sections) of the end surface of the metal frame is made with the tab, or part (section) of the end surface of the metal frame is made with the tab.

The essential features of the claimed invention "end surface of the metal frame is made with the tab, or several parts (sections) of the end surface of the metal is th frame is made with the tab, or part (section) of the end surface of the metal frame is made with the tab are different from the characteristics of the prototype.

In Fig.1 shows a block disc brakes, view from the side of the friction element. Fig 2 shows the section a-a disc brake pads. In Fig.3 shows part B disc brake pads.

Pad disc brake includes a flat metal frame 1 on which is fixed (by gluing, preformance and so on) of the friction element 2. The friction element can be manufactured, for example, from a polymer composite friction material. The surface 3 of the metal frame (the surface facing the fixing of the friction element and an opposing surface 4 (the so-called "back surface connected to the end surface 5 of the frame. On the end surface of the frame is made protrusion 6. The protrusion may be placed at one edge of the end surface or in the center of the surface. The ledge can be performed on the entire end surface or in its separate parts (sections), for example, on the straights, in areas that are in contact during operation with guide pads and other elements of the brake caliper. You can perform a projection on a single area of the end surface of the frame, for example on one of the sites, contact chirouse with the surface of the guide carriage.

A specific example of the invention is a pad disc brake car UAZ, the end surface of which is made with the tab placed on the front surface of the back surface of the frame. The height of the protrusion ≈0,5 mm

The presence of the protrusion on the end surface of the frame pads reduces the surface area of the contact face of the pad with the elements of the caliper, resulting in reduced resistance to movement of the pad relative to the elements of the caliper and reduces the possibility podklinivanija pads with a slight deviations in the position of the pads from the plane of the brake disc (counterface) during the operation.

SUBSTANCE: brake shoe comprises steel carcass and iron arched body furnished with grouped inserts. Insert abrasivity exceeds that of shoe body material. Said inserts are welded in place while the entire set is cast-in with iron to make integral working surface of the shoe. Said shoe has an extra metal carcass. Extra metal carcass incorporates inserts of the shoe body main section made of composite friction material, its friction factor exceeding that of the body, and lateral inserts composed of shaped elements in contact with locomotive tire flange surface interacting with rail side surface. Inserts are made of antifriction material with friction factor lower than that of the base and abrasiveness lower than that of the base and inserts fitted in pad body main section.

EFFECT: more efficient braking, lower noise and wear, increased MTBR, reliable and stable operation of brake systems.

Said bases have recesses to accommodate steel carcass pressure plates. Ledge is made at one of lateral surfaces of friction element while recess is made at opposite side surface. Friction elements fitted in steel carcass are secured by squeezing of the carcass lateral pressure plates. Two extreme elements are additionally pressed by pressure plates of carcass guides. Friction elements are made of iron-base metal.

EFFECT: higher safety and wear resistance, better manufacturability.

A friction disk comprises a metal body with eight recesses along the outer body outline and eight holes with composite friction patch pieces being fixed on the disk. Twelve grooves are provided on the friction surfaces of the friction patch pieces. The holes and recesses are alternating along the disk circumference. On one of the patch pieces four grooves are placed in the holes' zones and the other grooves are beyond the zones of the recesses and holes of the body. On another patch piece four grooves are placed in the zones of the body recesses, four grooves are placed in the zones of the body holes and the other grooves are beyond the zones of the recesses and holes of the body.

Shoe friction element is shaped to prismatoid with trapezium-shaped bases. Said bases have recesses to accommodate steel carcass pressure plates. Friction elements fitted in steel carcass are secured by squeezing of lateral pressure plates while two extreme elements are pressed by carcass guide pressure plates. Friction elements are made of iron-base metal.

EFFECT: higher safety and wear resistance, better manufacturability.

SUBSTANCE: method involves preparation of a frame body with one or more through holes. A damping layer is applied onto the prepared frame body and is covered by a metal plate fitted by folded elements in the form of edges or an edge. The edges or the edge are placed in the holes or the hole of the frame body. Moulding of a brake lining on the frame body is carried out with simultaneous moulding of the edges or the edge of the metal plate into the brake lining.

EFFECT: simplified manufacturing of a brake pad with noise protection by forming the noise protection element immediately in the process of the pad manufacturing without the necessity to arrange for separate processes of the protection element production and its installation on the pad.

FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to braking equipment of railway vehicles, in particular, to disc brakes. A disc brake comprises a body arranged on a spring-loaded frame of the vehicle with a tong parallel-link motion, an amplification mechanism, shoes and friction pads interacting with the brake disc. The tong parallel-link mechanism is made by H-shaped levers. The body is made as a monoblock body with two coaxially arranged braking cylinders of a service and automatic parking brake. The body may freely rotate on an axis located horizontally in the plane of braking disc rotation. The amplification mechanism is located inside the monoblock body and is made as single-link in the form of a swinging stem contacting with a leash. The piston of the service brake is made with a stiffly attached guide and a swinging stem, and the piston of the automatic parking brake is equipped with a stem having a plug, a nut and a bolt. The stem with the plug acts at the service brake piston, and the nut and the bolt provide for manual disconnection of the automatic parking brake.

EFFECT: provides for reduced dimensions of a device with provision of required pressing force.

SUBSTANCE: proposed wheeled vehicle contains brake mechanisms, brake mechanism liquid cooling device, stop signaling electric system and windshield washer including reservoir with liquid, pump and pump drive motor electrically coupled with supply source through switch. Washer is furnished with two-position electromagnetic valve whose input is connected with pump, and normally open output, with washer, and normally closed output, with brake mechanism cooling device through normally-closed electromagnetic valve. Electromagnet of two-position valve is connected to stop signaling circuit, electromagnet of normally-closed valve, to threshold device electrically coupled with supply source and brake mechanism temperature sensor, and switch is furnished with electromagnetic switching drive connected to stop signaling circuit. Friction pads are secured on brake disks, and brake shoes are made hollow, with partitions inside. Input of brake shoe space is hydraulically connected with pump of brake mechanism cooling device, and output, with reservoir with liquid.
